The US Bank Altitude Reserve welcome bonus is available to current US Bank cardholders who upgrade their card to the Altitude Reserve. There are multiple data points of this working (here and here) in recent months.
You can upgrade from cards like Altitude Connect or Cash+ for example, and once your product change you will see the bonus tracker in your account. So you will earn 50,000 points without a hard pull, and without worrying if US Bank will approve you.
