NEW YORK — The Mega Millions jackpot is steadily rising again, up to $560 million after no tickets in Friday’s drawing won the grand prize.
The winning numbers for Friday’s $522 million Mega Millions drawing were 4-11-23-33-49 Mega Ball: 23 Megaplier: 4.
The cash option for Friday’s drawing was worth $240.8 million.
While no one hit the jackpot, a ticket in California matched all five of the white ball numbers to win $1 million.
This year has already seen two billion-dollar lottery jackpot winners. One lucky ticket in New Jersey won a $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot in March, and a Powerball ticket in Oregon hit the jackpot worth more than $1.3 billion in April.
Mega Millions hasn’t seen a jackpot winner since the $1.13 billion jackpot winner in March.
The next drawing on Tuesday, June 4, is for an estimated $560 million and would be the ninth largest prize in the game’s history.
The odds of winning the jackpot are one in 302,575,350.
