CWT has named Richard Thompson, formerly its VP of global communication and culture, as global head of environmental, social and corporate governance and employee experience, the travel management company announced. In his new role, Thompson will lead CWT’s responsible business activities, including both its internal programs and external positions, and his “primary goal will be to work with our teams to raise the level of our ESG and employee experience rating, content, reporter, stakeholder communication and investor engagement with a particular emphasis on sustainability issues,” he said in statement. Thompson, who has been with CWT since 2016, reports to EVP and chief HR officer Laura Watterson, and he will continue to oversee the TMC’s workplace culture initiatives and HR communications.
