Crash delays eastbound traffic on Business 80 in Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — All traffic on eastbound Business 80 was stopped temporarily in central Sacramento after a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the crash, blocking all eastbound lanes near the E St. exit around 8:30 p.m.

Shortly before 9 p.m., the CHP said that one lane had reopened. The CHP said two people were taken to the hospital and were in stable condition.

Live cameras from Caltrans showed heavy traffic along the eastbound lanes between the junction with Highway 50 and the American River.

A FOX40 News crew is headed to the crash site and this article will be updated with the information they gather.
