I live in a small apartment in New York City, so when it comes to cooking in my tiny kitchen, I have to come to terms with two very important realities: I don’t have enough space to buy all of the kitchen equipment I want, and for the things I do want, I have to get creative when it comes to storage. It’s no surprise that a grill is clearly not on my list of things to have in New York (I don’t even have a patio or backyard space for that kind of luxury), so grilling isn’t part of my normal cooking routine. But thanks to this most recent Costco find, I think that may be about to change.

According to @costcofinds75 on TikTok, Costco is now carrying the Lodge Double Play Reversible Grill/Griddle. It’s made of cast iron and already pre-seasoned, and features two sides for your cooking needs: a ribbed side for grilling, or a flat side for a griddle. It’s just under 17 inches in length and 9.5 inches wide, which, according to Lodge’s product description, is just big enough to fry eight eggs at a time. Yes, eight! You can use it in the oven, on the stovetop, on top of your grill (if you’re lucky to have one, of course), and even a campfire. Sounds like smash burgers and buttermilk pancakes are in your near future.

Now here’s the real catch: Costco is selling this reversible grill for only $25! That’s significantly cheaper compared to Lodge’s original price of $43, or even Amazon’s deal of $30. It’s unclear how long this cast iron beauty will be on Costco’s shelves, so if you’re also on the hunt for some kind of grill or griddle to use in your home, you better run to your local warehouse and grab it ASAP.
