CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte and Road Runner Vettes held its annual toy drive “Corvette Angels” on Saturday morning near Carolina Place mall.
The “Corvette Angels” drive collects toys for The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte’s Angel Tree Christmas assistance program.
The event collects around 1,000 toys every year.
Since the beginning the club, it has collected more than 11,000 toys.
