Contra Costa Fire, Cal Fire battling vegetation fire in Brentwood

(KRON) — The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection are containing a vegetation fire in Brentwood, Con Fire announced Friday at 11:22 a.m.

According to Con Fire, the fire is in the area of 124 Albers Court near Deer Valley Road and was considered “large.”

Con Fire posted on X at 12:32 p.m. that the fire was currently 85% contained. The department also reported there were no reports of injuries or lost structures.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
