Clinton Sease Farm: A Great Place to Enjoy Fall Festivities  

It doesn’t matter how many times you go to Clinton Sease, the experiences just get better and better each year. There are so many fun things for your children to do at the farm, no matter their ages. The atmosphere at the farm is so welcoming and friendly and everywhere you look, there is something new to discover. You can spend as much or as little time here as you’d like, but we would suggest setting aside at least 2 to 3 hours in order to get the full experience.  

The majority of the walking spaces are dirt so keep in mind that young children will most likely get a bit dirty and close-toed shoes would be best. Also, if you need a bite to eat while at the farm, there is a concession stand, “Sweet Shack”, and adult beverages available for purchase. 

When is Clinton Sease Farm Open?

Clinton Sease Farm is open Friday to Sunday each week from September 22 through November 5, 2023. Hours vary depending on the day:

• Fridays: 6 pm to 10 pm
• Saturday: 10 am to 10 pm
• Sundays: 2 pm to 7 pm

Because this is such a popular place for families to go throughout the fall, it is rarely not crowded. Have no fear, though, they have done a fantastic job at spreading out all of the attractions and if there does happen to be lines, they are short and move quickly! My family and I recently went on a Sunday afternoon and by about 5:30 pm, most people had already left. 

Clinton Sease Tickets 

Tickets can either be purchased online or upon arrival. If you decide to purchase them ahead of time, pickup will be in the building at the main entrance. Each general admission ticket will get you entry into all of the activities inside of Clinton Sease – pumpkin patch, unlimited tractor rides, kid zones, corn mazes, etc. Entry into the farm will stop one hour before closing each night. Tickets are: 

• 2 and under – FREE
• 3 and older – $16 ($18 at the door)

Things to Do at Clinton Sease Farm

Two Awesome Kid Zones 

There are two large kid zones, one on each side of the main entrance, that are PACKED with awesome things for kiddos of all ages. They’ve got bucket swings and great sensory play for babies, climbing equipment and fun games for older kids, the corn maze and races for your teens, and much more! My toddler’s favorite things to do in the kiddie areas were the tall tunnel slides (which there are several of), the cornstalk/snake tunnel, and climbing through the play equipment that was made to look like big farming machines. Here are some of the other awesome things you can expect to find in the kid zones:

• Huge obstacle course – think Ninja warrior, but not quite as hard 
• Putt-putt
• Tire maze
• Sand pits with toys
• Bowling 
• Musical bells
• Water duck races
• Tricycle racing course 
• Kiddie tractor pull with animal bucket seats 
• “Horse roping” with hula hoops and wooden figurines 

Try Not to Get Lost in the Corn Maze 

The corn maze at Clinton Sease Farm is AWESOME! The maze theme this year is “Farm Defenders” and as you make your way through you will be able to read facts about all of the things that “help” a farm operate. One important thing to note is that if you decide to go through the maze at night, you must have a flashlight with you that is not a cell phone. You can either bring your own flashlight or purchase one at the farm for $5. 

The 2023 Clinton Sease Farm corn maze design is Lake Murray.

During our trip, we decided to give the corn maze a try and quickly learned that we HAD TO follow the map that is recommended at the entrance. To get the map, you can follow the quick steps posted on the sign before entering the maze. The map will load onto your phone and you will be able to view where you are within the maze at all times. In total, the maze took us about 45 minutes to an hour to get through. It is a bit tricky to say the least, but oh so fun! 

Kiddie Corn Maze 

At Clinton Sease you will also find a smaller version of the corn maze that is great for kids! If your children are a little older, it would be the perfect time to let them use their skills and independence to try to get the family through. 

Huge Pumpkin Patch at Clinton Sease  

There is a big pumpkin patch at Clinton Sease that has several different sizes of pumpkins. There are wheelbarrows that can be used to load up your pumpkins and help you get them to the checkout desk and your car. Even if you don’t want to do any of the other activities at the farm, you can go to just the pumpkin patch for a $1 admission fee. 

Unlimited Tractor Rides Around the Farm 

Pickup for the tractor ride can also be found at the pumpkin patch. The tractor will pull you around the pumpkin patch and through some of the farmland where you will see cows, donkeys, and pigs. The driver stops for a few minutes at the animals so everyone can have a good look. One of the donkeys and several of the cows were very vocal and all of the kids thought it was so funny to hear. The best part about the tractor ride is that you can ride it as many times as you’d like for no extra fees!
