Cities across the U.S. broil under triple-digit heat

More than 80 million Americans were under heat alerts Thursday. In Boston and New York City, many students got relief from the sweltering heat in their classrooms thanks to the installation of thousands of air conditioners in recent years. Meg Oliver has more.
