Citi AAdvantage Executive Card Fees Going Up
Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard is a premium product that comes with valuable benefits for American Airlines frequent flyers. One of those benefits is Admirals Club access which is also extended to the free additional users that you can add on the card.
However, there are some changes that will make this card more expensive for the primary cardholder and authorized users.
Doctor of Credit reports a rumor that the card will soon be revamped the annual fee ill increase to $650, from the current fee of $450. As for authorized users, they will no longer be free.
The new fee is already showing actually when you try to add an authorized user to your account. It shows a price of $175 for the first three authorized users and then $175 for each additional authorized user after that.
The new fees are a substantial increase, so I would think that some new benefits must be added to make sense of the extra $200 for the primary cardholder.
