Xiangbei is a popular travel influencer from China with a following of over 3 million people. While she was traveling and creating content in the UK, she visited Cambridge, and while recording she noticed that in the background there was a group of white teenage girls and one of them started pulling her eyes to make slanted eyes, a gesture hurled at Asian people with racist undertones.

The influencer immediately went after the group and confronted the girl, to which she replied that she was just massaging her eyes because they hurt and she was tired, but Xiangbei didn’t believe her reasonings, telling her that she was old enough to know what she did, the girl proceeded to cuss the influencer out but then Xiangbei retaliated with telling her was old enough to feign innocence and that she would be posting the video and about the engagement her videos have, the girl started to cry upon knowing the influencer was known.

Ultimately, Xiangbei posted the video, receiving praise for standing up for herself and against racism suffered by Asian people when visiting abroad.
