Chase is sending out a notice with upcoming changes on the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card.
Benefits Eliminated:
- The 2% Drugstore category is being removed
Benefits Added:
- 5% back on purchases made through Chase Travel with an eligible Prime membership
- 2% back on local transit and commuting, including rideshares
Benefits Unchanged:
- 5% back at Amazon & Whole Foods with an eligible Prime membership
- 2% back at restaurants and gas stations
- 1% back on all other purchases
I don’t see these changes affecting our readers much. Maybe the 5% Chase Travel can be useful if you don’t another Chase card with that benefit.
