Cary police investigate shooting on E. Circle Drive that left one man injured

Cary police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, resulting in one man being injured.

At around 5:40 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 100 block of E. Circle Drive. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper arm.

The shooter had left the scene before police arrived. The victim was taken to the hospital with what appears to be a non-life-threatening injury, according to police.

Investigators are currently looking into the incident, and it seems that the two involved knew each other.
