The power outage led to widespread low water pressure. Officials said the city’s generators are running, but it may take a while to fully restore pressure. Florida Power & Light is evaluating the cause, which they believe it to be weather-related, Bradenton Police Department said in a post on their X account.
***UPDATE #3: Florida Power & Light is evaluating the cause and restoration of the outage at the water treatment plant, which is believed to be weather-related. The outage was not associated with a water main break.
