Body Of Missing Swimmer Recovered On Lake Norman – WCCB Charlotte’s CW

LAKE NORMAN, N.C. – The body of a swimmer, who went missing on Lake Norman on the 4th of July, has been recovered, officials said Sunday.

The body was found around 11 p.m. Saturday night near an area called the Sandbar.

Officials have not released the victim’s name at this time.

Crews were searching for the swimmer overnight Thursday into Friday morning near the Sandbar area. The search continued on Saturday until the body was found.
