BETHESDA, Md. — Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Montgomery County is on lockdown Thursday due to a reported threat.
The Montgomery County Department of Police said they are working to confirm the validity of the threat.
A caller told WUSA9 that there was a heavy police presence at the school. WUSA9 has a crew headed to the school.
No other info was immediately available. This story will be updated when we have more information to provide.
While the threat was deemed not credible, a 17-year-old is facing charges.
