Police Will Not Bring Charges Against The Young Driver
Dashcam video reportedly shows an 8-year-old driving her parent’s car down Rockside Rd. in Bedford.
The young child was later found safe – and shopping – at a local Target retail store.
Police state they received a call about a missing child Sunday morning. Not long after that, they took a call about a car that was “swerving everywhere”. The caller added that the driver “looks like a kid”.
From FOX 8:
She told officers during her travels she “struck a mailbox.”
The girl’s relatives were called to the store to get her and the vehicle.
Bedford police say the child is too young to be charged with anything.
