Aurora PD investigate after woman found with multiple gunshot wounds

DENVER (KDVR) – A woman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries after being found with multiple gunshot wounds late Friday night, according to the Aurora Police Department.

The incident happened in the 9500 block of East Colfax Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

Police said officers responded to the area regarding a shooting that happened outside The 25-year-old victim was found and taken to a local hospital.

According to police, the exact circumstances that led to the shooting were unknown, but it was originally reported that it was related to a robbery.

There were no suspects in custody.
