At least 3 shot in Dallas, police searching for suspect

(NEXSTAR) – Three people were shot Thursday afternoon in downtown Dallas and the suspect is still on the loose, police said during a press conference.

The shooting happened just after noon in the 1800 block of Commerce Street, a spokesperson for the Dallas Police Dept. said at a news conference shortly before 3 p.m. CT.

All three victims were transported to local hospitals, but their conditions weren’t immediately known.

The spokesperson said police had no information about a possible suspect, and no arrests had been made.

Citing an ongoing investigation, police declined to take questions as they continue to search for the person or persons responsible.
