Arrest made after illegal injections led to person’s death in Citrus Heights

The Citrus Heights Police Department made an arrest more than a decade after illegal injections led to fatal complications. Detectives arrested 49-year-old Alejandra Aguilera-Ortega at an apartment complex on Monday for the 2013 death of Diego Lopez.The police department said Aguilera-Ortega, who was unlicensed, provided Lopez with illegal silicone injections into the buttocks.
