Charlotte, North Carolina Local News
Areas of fog this morning, warming-up this afternoon
[ad_1]
CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Today
It has taken awhile for those low level clouds to break for some sunshine, but it is finally brighter. There’s the chance of a few showers and a stray thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. However, most of us in the Greater Charlotte area will remain dry. Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
Friday
Patchy fog is possible during the morning with mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the low 80s, with light winds. It should be mostly clear Friday night with lows in the mid 60s.
Tropical Update
We’re monitoring the western Caribbean and southern Gulf of Mexico for tropical development over the next seven days. Elsewhere, the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon are trying to reform but will not impact land.
There’s a well-defined area of low pressure a few hundred miles northwest of the remnants of Gordon. Some slow development is possible.
