Arc’teryx, with footwear design office in Portland, logs huge revenue bounce

Vancouver, British Columbia-based outdoor equipment outfitter Arc’teryx saw its footwear revenue double last quarter, just two years after it established its footwear research and design office in Portland. Ovidio Garcia, vice president of footwear for the mountaineering-focused brand, said the boost in revenue is indicative of the momentum the brand has been building around footwear the last few years.
