April sunshine and a few clouds

PORTLAND, Oregon — Northwest Oregon is in for a warm, mainly sunny weekend, while eastern Oregon is peppered with showers and thunderstorms this weekend.
Saturday will be mainly sunny. In the afternoon a few clouds may drift over the western valleys from thunderstorms over and east of the Cascades.
Highs will make the low 70s on Saturday.
Sunday will be a little cooler as the onshore flow returns, but still mainly sunny. Highs will be in the 60s.
Cooler weather and showers return Monday and Tuesday. Snow will fall as low as 2,500 feet.
But warm, clear weather rebounds quickly, with highs back in the 70s later next week.
