Margaret Poe is the head of consumer credit education at TransUnion. She leads a team dedicated to equipping consumers with tools and resources to understand, manage and protect their data. That includes empowering Americans to understand how to build credit and protect themselves from fraud – both of which are critical to thrive in the modern economy. Prior to joining TransUnion, she worked in financial services content marketing and local journalism. She received her journalism degree from the University of Iowa.
