Amex Green Card Losing $100 LoungeBuddy Credit

The Amex Green card currently has a $100 LoungeBuddy Credit as part of its benefits. You can use the American Express Green Card to purchase lounge access through LoungeBuddy and receive up to $100 in statement credits per calendar year.

However, that credit is going away starting early next year. When you browse to the list of benefits on the Amex Green card, you will see the following notice:

Effective January 13, 2025, the $100 Loungebuddy Credit benefit will no longer be available.

It’s not clear if this will be the only change, or if we might see a total refresh of the card. I have reached out to American Express for comment and will update the article with any relevant information.
