American Express Global Business Travel has promoted chief commercial officer Andrew Crawley to the position of president, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Crawley, a former executive with British Airways and parent company International Airlines Group, joined Amex GBT as chief commercial officer in April 2020 following the departure of the travel management company’s president, Philippe Chérèque. Crawley continues to report to Amex GBT CEO Paul Abbott in his new role.
