PORTLAND, Oregon — A mix of cloudiness on this Friday morning will be followed by mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Portland and Salem will warm into the 70s with light northwest winds.
A dry weekend forecast for the valley and southwest Washington shows highs in the 70s. Saturday morning could see areas of fog, but will otherwise enjoy sunny skies. Look for increasing cloudiness Sunday for partly sunny skies.
The coast will also enjoy dry weather today through Sunday with a mix of partly sunny and mostly sunny skies.

A rapid sunny warm up is still expected Tuesday with valley highs into the 80s and possibly nearing 90 degrees in some locations. A cold front will bring the threat of a few showers Wednesday evening through Thursday morning.
