Fine dining restaurant London Stock has announced it will be unveiling its new home in the heart of Mayfair, opening on Wednesday 4th October.

This is the first restaurant founded by Le Cordon Bleu-trained Assem Abdel Hady and Andres Bernal, which originally opened in Wandsworth in January 2020, with the aim of redefining the traditional fine dining experience. Aside from their stunning seasonal 8-course tasting menu (£85), the restaurant offers an à la carte 3-course lunch (£40), and then a 3-course pre-theatre menu (£50) and 4-course set menu (£60) in the evening, to emphasise the restaurant’s ethos to create an approachable, yet luxurious fine dining atmosphere.

Since establishing itself on the South London food scene since its genesis, the kitchen is run by Head Chef Sebastian Rast, previously of Above at HIDE. Rast prides himself on pushing the boundaries of culinary creativity – each dish he creates combines elegant, modern European flavours with avant-garde global cooking techniques which reflect the multicultural melting pot of London as a city.

London Stock is committed to cooking sustainably through striving towards a zero-waste kitchen and using only the highest quality, fresh produce which accentuates the team’s passion for excellence. With a flexible, ever-changing menu, there is no compromise on seasonality, provenance or quality – each ingredient is sourced from meticulously selected and trusted suppliers, including Bethnal Green Fish, Natoora, and HG Walter, among others, which results in unforgettable flavours that captivate and delight. To compliment is an expertly curated wine and drinks list by Head Sommelier Lazaros Engonopoulos, including a wine flight for the signature 8-course tasting menu.

The new space at 6 Sackville Street is elegant and modern, while keeping a warm and welcoming feel that is full of character and ambience, with the main restaurant featuring an open kitchen where gastronomes can observe Rast and his team at work. Downstairs, the new site also offers an intimate private dining room with its own bar in the old wine cellar which can host up to 12 guests.

Founder Assem Abdel Hady commented,

We are thrilled to have this beautiful space for the next chapter of London Stock in the heart of Mayfair. As a team, we strive for perfection in everything we do – from the food to the service and the ambience. We very much look forward to offering a dining experience that surprises and delights, with our guests leaving with truly unforgettable memories.”

London Stock will welcome diners to its new Mayfair home at 6 Sackville Street from Wednesday 4th October, from when it will be open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday – Saturday.
