Data management firm Grasp Technologies has launched a new tool, working with Microsoft technology, to provide better visualization of the data it provides, the company announced.

GraspAnalytics takes Grasp’s data—which can be collected and normalized across a variety of sources including multiple travel management companies, corporate cards, booking tools, expense and human resources—and using the Microsoft PowerBI platform, transforms it into charts, maps, graphs and other formats to better identify patterns and trends. It will be able to tap into future visualization capabilities as those evolve in the PowerBI platform as well, according to Grasp.

“The solution provides comprehensive insights into areas such as forecasted trends across spend,” Grasp CEO Erik Mueller said in a statement. Those include “potential areas for increased savings, vendor analysis, CO2 emissions [reporting] for ESG initiatives, traveler well-being reports and what-if analysis that scopes out the impact of potential changes to your business.”
