As the Celtics continue to rack up wins, they continue to gain praise from NBA experts.

One of those experts, former NBA Coach of the Year and current NBA TV analyst Sam Mitchell, thinks Boston will make the NBA Finals without much resistance.

He admires the way the Celtics stick to their strengths. At the same time, Mitchell said it’s “weird” to him that teams try to beat them at their own game.

“It reminds me of Golden State when they were winning,” Mitchell said. “Everybody tried to outshoot them, and I’d sit back and laugh. How are you going to outshoot two of the greatest shooters ever?”

Mitchell said the Celtics are “loaded” with talent and have an identity.

“They know who they are and what they are, and they don’t deviate,” Mitchell said. “The thing about it, in order to beat them, you’re going to have to create a different style of play.”

Mitchell said he doesn’t see any team in the Eastern Conference that can challenge Boston.

“I could see Boston losing two games going through the whole playoffs until they get to the Finals,” he said.
