5 Reasons Why You Should Stan Roxen

And from Cluj-Napoca, Romania is a rising musician who is sure to ensnare one’s attention. Roxen gained recognition from her feature on SICKOTOY’s ‘You Don’t Love Me’ and being chosen to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. We have rounded up five reasons to consider stanning them.

Connection

Music is more intimate when an artist is involved in the process and Roxen has been contributing since the beginning of their professional career with songwriting credits for singles (‘Ce-Ţi Cântă Dragostea,’ ‘Daca ma cauti,’ ‘Spune-Mi’) to debut studio album Alternative Dreams.

Design

Roxen in her debut era had plum dyed hair because she was appointed as the brand ambassador of Loncolor Expert HEMPstyle. Such was a genius decision because hair completed the alternative aesthetic from ‘Amnesia’ and their mystifying one in ‘Wonderland.’

Even their clothing is sharp whether it is oversized items or denim or with fantastical essentials. But her eye makeup completes the look with fierce eyeliner and complementary eyeshadow!

Gamut

Aside from performing in English and Romanian, her listing is impressive and wide-ranging.
For example ‘Storm’ is an empowering anthem that is inspiring and reflective and ‘Cherry Red’ is a musing and romantic song that emphasizes their unique voice.

Regardless of the genre or language, there are personal and encouraging qualities to their music. And although her material might be more relatable to those within the age group, other people can still listen and find themselves moved.

Enthusiasm

Roxen has shown an interest in music since childhood. In an Instagram video young Roxen is singing on stage and after a high note looks at the audience with a proud expression on her face. As if to say, “Yes, I did it!”

And her passion is in view during her recent performances such as the IntenCity Festival and live sessions for Europa FM. She concentrates on the emotion they want to relate to the audience and does so excellently.

Voice

Roxen has great emotional depth despite her age. It is difficult to not feel bright because of the atmosphere in ‘Escape’ or glum in ‘Cenusa’ because of her rich, dark vocal tone that can inspire and rouse.
Roxen can untie even the most twisted heartstrings with their voice.
