4 shot in dispute over stolen property, police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) — Four people were shot in a reported dispute over stolen property, according to Cleveland police.

It happened just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, in the 14800 block of Lawndale Avenue, according to a spokesperson.

Officers found four people with gunshot wounds at the scene: a 61-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman, a 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, according to the spokesperson.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation.
