3 people in custody after stolen vehicle crashes into cars, 2-year-old injured

Three people are in custody after authorities said they crashed a stolen vehicle into multiple cars in Garner.
According to the Garner Police Department, officers noticed a stolen vehicle around 6:52 p.m. on Tryon Road near Junction Boulevard and attempted to stop the car. The officers began chasing the car.
Police officers said chase ended in Raleigh when the suspect’s vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of Tryon Road and Lake Wheeler Road, hitting three other cars and injuring four people.
According to the police, there were minor injuries to people in the other cars, including a 2-year-old. One of the crash victims was taken to WakeMed for their injuries, which police said were minor.
Police said two of the suspects, ages 19, 19 and 16, ran from the crash, while a third remained in the car. All three suspects were located by law enforcement and taken into custody.
Two of the suspects were taken to local hospitals for their injuries.
Police said they confiscated three guns from the car and some marijuana and charges are pending.
