It belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and is closely related to turmeric, cardamom, and galangal, and well all know how powerful these are in influencing our health. Ginger is a root vegetable that is commonly used as a spice in many dishes such as soups, marinades, and many other savory dishes. With this versatile root vegetable, you can also make it into a drink to get a boost instantly or even have it in a warm and comforting tea.

How To Use Ginger For Gut Health

The Easiest way to get ginger into your body is with tea. you can make your own by peeling the skin off and cutting or slicing the ginger into thin pieces. Placing them into a pot, kettle, or hot water and letting them steam for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then drinking.

You can also eat it with your sushi or use it with a spice. I prefer the tea method. It’s great after I eat because I always get so bloated. I usually keep a packet in my bag for when I’m at work and if I need it but I love it after dinner.
