Watch as artists pay tribute to award-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile at the 2019 Founders Award, the Museum of Pop Culture’s annual fundraising gala supporting the nonprofit museum’s mission of making creative expression a life-changing force.

“I’m a Seattle girl through and through,” Carlile said upon receiving the 2019 Founders Award, an event which raised over $970 thousand for MoPOP. “I learned everything I ever needed to know about life and music in this city and this means everything to me. I absolutely mean that from the bottom of my heart.”
