2 States That Got Their First Costco This Year — and 2 Still Waiting

It might seem like Costco is everywhere, but that’s not exactly true. Two states got their first stores just this year — and two others remain Costco-free. On Nov. 17, Costco opened its first store in Maine. The store is located in Scarborough, just south of Portland. Reports said hundreds of people waited outside the door just to get a first look at the retailer’s new location.
