A double homicide is being investigated in Elk Grove after two people were found dead inside a home on Friday afternoon, according to police. The Elk Grove Police Department said officers responded to a home on Crosscourt Way after a person reported they failed several times to contact their family and something seemed suspicious. They entered the home to find both a man and woman dead. Detectives are investigating both deaths as homicides, according to police. Neighbors KCRA spoke with are stunned, as the pair were described as loving, gentle and kind.According to their neighbors, the two had lived in the neighborhood for many years, and adored the many children who live on the block.The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has not released the identity of the two victims.
