  • Could ‘Wonder Man’ Be Coming Back for Season 2?

    [ad_1]

Michael Shannon is joining a new take on The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Lauren LaVera discusses her hopes for Terrifier 4. Plus, get a fresh look at Eternia in new pictures from the Masters of the Universe movie. To me, my spoilers!

     Doctor Caligari’s Cabinet of Wonders

Variety reports Michael Shannon is attached to star in a modernization of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari titled Doctor Caligari’s Cabinet of Wonders from director John Erick Dowdle (As Above, So Below). Much like the original, the new film will follow the titular Doctor Caligari, “a traveling mesmerist who journeys from town to town with a sleepwalker under his control, leaving a trail of grisly murders in their wake. When a young woman’s boyfriend disappears mysteriously, she believes that the enigmatic Caligari is somehow responsible. The problem is—nobody believes her.”

    Insidious 6

Bloody-Disgusting has an intriguing new synopsis for Insidious 6.

A trio of stalkers infiltrate a quiet suburb and force a new family into the astral plane, where they uncover a terrifying truth: the Further is bleeding into the real world.

    Terrifier 4

In a recent interview with Den of Geek, Lauren LaVera confirmed she hasn’t “read any of the script yet” for Terrifier 4, but discussed her hopes for the alleged “finale.”

I haven’t read any of the script yet. I don’t think Damien’s even done writing it as of right now. I’m sure he’s close to done based off things he has texted me and what he’s been telling the press, but no, he’s kept it completely under wraps from David, from myself, from all of the other cast and crew. So it’ll be a surprise.

I want Jonathan to be alive; I want Gabbie to be saved; and I want some sort of retribution for Sienna, however that will look.

I think our girl’s been through enough and she deserves a win, whatever it will look like for her. Whether or not she survives, I don’t know, but I think she deserves a win.

    Masters of the Universe

Empire Magazine has new looks at Evil-Lyn, He-Man, Man-At-Arms, Teela, and Castle Grayskull in Masters of the Universe.

    Bone Keeper

John Rhys-Davies stars in a cosmic horror film about a cave-dwelling octopoid from outer space in the trailer for Bone Keeper.

    Dead Lover

In the trailer for Dead Lover, “a lonely gravedigger who stinks of corpses finally meets her dream man, but their whirlwind affair is cut short when he tragically drowns at sea. Grief-stricken, she goes to morbid lengths to resurrect him through madcap scientific experiments, resulting in grave consequences and unlikely love.” Notably, the film will premiere in “Stink-O-Vision” at Brooklyn’s Nitehawk Cinema in Prospect Park and Williamsburg on February 9 and at the IFC Center in Manhattan on March 19.

    Wonder Man

Insider Daniel Richtman (via Comicbook) claims that Marvel is “very close” to greenlighting a second season of Wonder Man.

    She-Hulk

Speaking of sophomore seasons of Marvel shows, Tatiana Maslany stayed incredibly vague discussing the potential return of She-Hulk with Entertainment Tonight.

You’ll never know. You’ll never know. I don’t know. Do you know? I don’t know.

Obviously, there are She-Hulk stories from the ’80s all the way to now, and they continue to be written, so there’s a lot in that character that’s very exciting, and yeah, the comics are still being made.

    The Miniature Wife

Elizabeth Banks gets hit by an experimental shrink ray in the trailer for The Miniature Wife, co-starring Matthew Macfadyen.

  • Wonder Man Review: New Marvel Disney+ TV Show Is Forgettable

    [ad_1]

Wonder Man is one of Marvel Studios’ most low-key and peculiar television experiments to date. Created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, the Disney+ miniseries follows Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), an up-and-coming actor in Los Angeles whose biggest dream is not to save the world, but to book the lead role in a remake of his favorite childhood movie, Wonder Man. It’s a concept that immediately separates the show from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and yet, by the end of its run, it also feels emblematic of Marvel’s current creative malaise.

The opening episode sets the tone well. Simon lands a small role on American Horror Story, but loses the part after overanalyzing his character to the point that production is delayed. It’s a painfully relatable moment for anyone who has spent time in the entertainment industry, and the show smartly leans into that specificity. Dejected, Simon attends a screening of Midnight Cowboy, where he runs into Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), the once-infamous actor behind the fake Mandarin persona in Iron Man 3. Trevor reveals that he’s auditioning for the Wonder Man remake — a revelation that sends Simon into a spiral, as Wonder Man is a film he watched with his father growing up. The role represents not just career success, but emotional closure and validation.

The central hook of the series is genuinely interesting: Simon is secretly superpowered, but enhanced individuals are banned from acting due to skyrocketing insurance costs. His goal, therefore, is to land the role of a lifetime without anyone discovering what he can do. It’s a clever inversion of the traditional superhero premise. Simon has no interest in vigilantism, crime-fighting, or public heroics. He simply wants to act. In a genre oversaturated with masked crusaders and multiversal stakes, Wonder Man earns points for attempting something smaller, quieter, and more human.

That relatability is clearly intentional. The series is designed to resonate with struggling actors — the constant self-tapes, the anxiety of distractions during auditions, the feeling that one missed opportunity could change everything. In that sense, Wonder Man often feels more like an industry satire or a backstage comedy-drama than a superhero show. It’s also notably light on action, which will either feel refreshing or disappointing depending on your expectations.

One of the undeniable highlights is Ben Kingsley’s return as Trevor Slattery. While Iron Man 3 was initially divisive, particularly due to its Mandarin twist, time has been kind to the film (I watch it every Christmas), and Kingsley’s performance has only grown in stature. Marvel clearly knows it struck gold with the character, bringing him back in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and now positioning him as the emotional counterweight to Simon. Trevor is once again chasing relevance, still clinging to his love of acting while carrying the baggage of his past mistakes. The dynamic between Kingsley and Abdul-Mateen is the heart of the show, and their evolving friendship gives Wonder Man its most effective moments.

There is some added tension courtesy of the Department of Damage Control, which pressures Trevor to spy on Simon without Simon’s knowledge. While this subplot adds a layer of intrigue, it never quite escalates into anything particularly gripping. That’s emblematic of the show as a whole: the ideas are solid, but rarely pushed far enough.

Tonally, Wonder Man aims for a low-stakes, ground-level superhero comedy, though it never commits fully to being laugh-out-loud funny. It isn’t trying as aggressively to be comedic as She-Hulk, and that restraint ultimately works in its favor. While the humor doesn’t always land, the show avoids the tonal whiplash and overindulgence that plagued some of Marvel’s recent TV efforts. There are flashes of screwball comedy and moments of genuine absurdity, but overall, the series elicits more mild smiles than big laughs.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II carries the show with ease. He brings warmth, insecurity, and quiet desperation to Simon Williams, making him an instantly sympathetic protagonist. You believe in his dream, even when the show itself struggles to elevate that dream into something dramatically compelling. Supporting characters, particularly Simon’s skeptical older brother, hint at deeper emotional conflict, but those threads are never explored with enough depth to truly resonate. The drama is present, but always feels slightly undercooked.

That sense of incompleteness defines Wonder Man. It’s not bad — far from it — but it’s also not exceptional. Everything is “fine.” The writing is competent. The performances are solid. The themes are clear. And yet, there’s always the feeling that the show is missing that one defining element that would justify its existence.

Compared to Marvel Television’s earlier highs like Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Wonder Man feels slight. It also suffers from arriving at a time when Marvel’s output no longer feels essential. Once, every MCU project was framed as a must-see chapter in a larger narrative. Now, as the franchise slowly builds toward Avengers: Doomsday — with teases of Steve Rogers, Thor, the X-Men, Black Panther, and the Fantastic Four — Wonder Man feels almost completely disconnected. It has no meaningful ties to the looming threat of Doctor Doom, and no impact on the broader MCU story. The main hook isn’t, “Will Simon Williams become the superhero he was meant to be?” It’s “Will Simon Williams become the Hollywood star he’s dreamed of?”

As a result, the series comes across as disposable streaming content designed to pass the time rather than move the franchise forward. Diehard Marvel fans will watch it out of obligation. Casual viewers can easily skip it without missing anything important. Ultimately, Wonder Man is a show that actors might deeply relate to, but one that general audiences will likely forget. In a crowded landscape of superhero content and prestige television, “decent” simply isn’t enough anymore, but it’s undeniably easy to watch, and occasionally charming.

    SCORE: 6/10

As ComingSoon’s review policy explains, a score of 6 equates to “Decent.” It fails to reach its full potential and is a run-of-the-mill experience.

Disclosure: ComingSoon received screeners for our Wonder Man review.

  • A New ‘Wonder Man’ Trailer Rings In Marvel’s 2026

    [ad_1]

The New Year is here, and in a few weeks, so will Wonder Man. Marvel’s next TV series left its December 2025 for later this month, and a new trailer reminds you it’s not that far off, and finally establishes some big stakes.

Plot-wise, we’ve known Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is looking to book the title role in a superhero reboot of the old pulp movie Wonder Man. As the trailer says, he’s got a problem: he’s got superpowers, and he’s trying to hide them so they don’t hurt his chances of becoming a big-shot actor. His efforts to hide his secret leads him to former Mandarin Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), and it seems like things go well!…Right up until the point we see Damage Control out in LA and agent Cleary (Arian Moayed) calling Simon an “extraordinary threat.”

Previous trailers have played coy about what Simon can do, and this new one gives a deeper look at his power set, namely his super strength and a tease of his ionic powers. (How much of a handle he’s got on them, and how he got them, remains to be seen.) It also wants you to watch the show because of its big award-winning cast: along with namechecking Mateen II’s Emmy win and Kingsley’s Academy award, the trailer highlights Guldbagge Award winner Zlatko Burić, previously seen in Superman and here playing Von Kovak, director of the in-universe Wonder Man remake.

All episodes of Wonder Man will drop January 27 on Disney+.

  • Everything We Learned At NYCC’s Marvel TV Panel | The Mary Sue

    [ad_1]

Here’s everything we learned about Wonder Man, Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel Zombies, The Punisher, and more at the 2025 New York Comic-Con.

Phase Zero’s Brandon Davis moderated the panel, which featured special guests including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Sir Ben Kingsley, Paul Bettany, and the head of Marvel Television, Brad Winterbaum.

The introduction, a video narrated by Mayor Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) himself, vaaaaaaguely teased the return of Mike Colter as Luke Cage and/or Power Man. However, it was only a tease. The Defenders aren’t all back yet.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 might get venomous…

An exclusive teaser gave fans in the convention center first look at Season 2 and the introduction of Gwen Stacy, symbiotes, more Harry and Nico, some more Doc Ock goodness, and the return of Daredevil.

X-Men ‘97 is going there with Jean and Scott

The new executive producers, who worked on the original animated series, are finally going to get to do a storyline from back in the day. That storyline? Jean Grey’s pregnancy. The exclusive Season 2 trailer teased Apocalypse, time travel, and Polaris.

Oh, and the show is returning for Season 3.

Daredevil: Born Again is assembling a team.

Yet another exclusive trailer showed Krysten Ritter’s triumphant return as Jessica Jones. There was also plenty of glimpses at Foggy (?), Bullseye, Karen, Mayor Fisk in the boxing ring, and a gleefully violent vibe. Cox and Ritter talked about their sibling vibe and natural friendship and chemistry. (Cox calls her character “JJ,” how cute is that?)

The ‘Wonder Man’ trailer promises some meta comedy and the return of a fan favorite.

The teaser, which you can watch above, sets up the premise of the series. It’s about Simon Williams starring in a reboot of Wonder Man, a fictional character within the MCU. Williams is not a superhero. He just plays one on TV. We see the director explain his vision over Zoom. We see some skeptical fans. There’s even, I think, a joke about Marvel’s silly working titles: the movie within the show shoots under the fake title Cash Grab 2. We see the nonconventional audition process as well as his dynamic with Trevor Slattery.

    VisionQuest surprised the panel completely.

Finally, Bettany appeared on stage to talk about the third piece of the Wanda, Agatha, and Vision puzzle. He talked a bit about White Vision’s journey through memory (and lasers) and showed another exclusive teaser. We got a first look at Ruaridh Mollica as yet another mysterious teen. As many have expected the show will give us human versions of various MCU AI including:

    • DUME
    • U
    • JARVIS
    • FRIDAY
    • EDITH
    • Ultron

    More to come…

  • Marvel Plants 2026 Flags for ‘Daredevil,’ ‘X-Men ’97,’ and More

    [ad_1]

Marvel Studios came to New York Comic Con without any movies, but it made up for that with some info on its upcoming TV slate for Disney+.

During its panel focused on TV and animation, the company provided some release windows for its 2026 shows. Wonder Man lands January 27, and after that is Daredevil: Born Again. Season two will air that March, and see Matt Murdock reunite with Krysten Ritter’s hardboiled detective Jessica Jones to save New York from Mayor Fisk’s grip. A trailer for the season isn’t out yet, but those on the show floor have said it features both heroes in action, along with glimpses of Fisk, Bullseye, and Karen.

In the summer, X-Men ’97 will return for its second season. The panel featured a look at Apocalypse, who’ll play a big hand in the events of the season, since the heroes will fight him in the present day and meet him as En Sabah Nur in Ancient Egypt. But the fun doesn’t stop there: X-Men’s already renewed for season three, which’ll come at a later date.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be the big fall Marvel show, and its next season will bring Venom into the fray. (Not surprising, since he was teased in season one.) Daredevil will also return, this time wearing his classic red costume, and Gwen Stacy will show up in some kind of capacity.

Last but not least, Vision Quest, which Marvel’s called the closer to the trilogy comprised of WandaVision and Agatha All Along. Aside from the show’s logo, the panel brought on star Paul Bettany to reveal some story details, namely that the White Vision is struggling to make sense of what his Red counterpart did to him in WandaVision. As a result, he’s seeing digital or robotic characters like Ultron (James Spader), FRIDAY (Orla Brady), and even Dum-E (Henry Lewis) in human forms. Vision and Wanda’s son Tommy, aka Speedball, will also show up, played by Ruaridh Mollica (The Franchise)That show’s got a vague window of 2026, so it may be the last show of the year.

So, to recap: Wonder Man on January 27, Daredevil: Born Again in March, X-Men ’97 in the summer, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man for fall, and Vision Quest probably gets the winter. Gonna be a busy year.

  • The First ‘Wonder Man’ Trailer Brings a Whole New Feel to the MCU

    [ad_1]

We wonder if you remembered that Wonder Man was coming out? The new Marvel Studios show starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has been coming forever. He was cast all the way back in 2022, it had production difficulties due to the strikes, and it has seemingly been on the release schedule forever.

In recent months, we’ve seen teeny, tiny glimpses here and there, but with the show now, finally, coming out in January 27, Marvel chose New York Comic Con to fully pull the curtain back.

Wonder Man will debut on Disney+ in January 27, 2026, and here is the first full trailer:

That trailer certainly shows potential, especially with this idea of what Hollywood is like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we fear this show may suffer a similar fate to Ironheart. Both shows were developed in an era that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige kind of looks back at with regret—when the studio was making show after show after show, introducing character after character after character, and not everything stuck. In fact, most of it didn’t.

We thought Ironheart was actually really good, but it was just timed very poorly. Wonder Man, with the exception of Ben Kingsley’s Trevor, seems to be introducing lots of new characters and could suffer the same fate. Do we really need more characters in the MCU? And yet, maybe that’s the saving grace here. Maybe Wonder Man and his stories are detached and unique enough from everything else that the show can just be viewed on its own. Time will tell.

How are you feeling about Wonder Man after this trailer? Do you share our concern that it just isn’t coming out at the right time? Is it too much? Or will the fact that we’re a few months removed from the most recent Marvel movie (The Fantastic Four: First Steps) and so far away from the next ones in 2026 (Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July and Avengers: Doomsday in December) make it feel like this will scratch that itch? Let us know.

  • All the Trailers Released at New York Comic Con

    [ad_1]

    Chris Pratt.
    Photo: Amazon MGM Studios

Bam! Just like that, New York Comic Con 2025 is underway, taking over the Javits Center from October 9 through 12. So far, the convention has debuted trailers for the more lighthearted Game of Thrones spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and a Chris Pratt movie called Mercy, with more previews to come. Below, all the trailers released at NYCC so far.

We knew The Vampire Lestat would have some slight mockumentary energy to it, with a camera crew trailing Lestat on his rock & roll exploits. But thanks to the new extended first look from AMC+, we now know that none other than Daniel Molloy will be directing it. The NYCC panel also unveiled the show’s Akasha, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt and Woman King star Sheila Atim.

The Game of Thrones spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is based on a series of novellas by GoT scribe George R.R. Martin. From the trailer, it looks to be the first time a GoT property could be called a comedy. Starring Peter Claffey as Sir Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire, Egg, Seven Kingdoms is set 100 years before the original series but well after House of the Dragon. “Rob me and I’ll hunt you down with dogs,” Sir Duncan tells his squire in the teaser. Egg counters, “You don’t have dogs!” The HBO series will return to Westeros beginning January 18, 2026.

Chris Pratt is begging for mercy and they won’t release him in the trailer for his new science-fiction film. Pratt plays Detective Chris Raven, a man who programmed an artificial intelligence called Mercy, which Los Angeles courts are using to determine guilt. When accused of murdering his wife, he gets only 90 minutes to prove his innocence. Inevitably, the AI goes haywire. “This was never about my wife,” Pratt tells Mercy, played by Dune star Rebecca Ferguson. “This was about me and you.” The film comes out January 23, 2026 — if AI hasn’t taken over by then.

Marvel is going meta with the teaser trailer for its upcoming series Wonder Man. Yahya Abdul-Mateen stars in the series as an actor who auditions to play Wonder Man, and the teaser is largely based around an interview with the “Wonder Man” movie’s fake director, Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić). “I know your question is ‘Why one more superhero film?’” Kovak says in the trailer. “Everyone is tired of superheroes. Why go see them in the cinema?” After the lackadaisical box-office performance from Thunderbolts*, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Captain America: Brave New World, Kovak promises that “there is an opportunity to shock audiences.” Well, maybe Wonder Man can do the same as a limited series when it debuts on Disney+ in January.

Prime Video, leader of all dad-TV shows, released a trailer for Cross season two. Based on the Alex Cross books by James Patterson, the series follows the D.C. homicide detective, played by Aldis Hodge, hunting down a serial killer going after corrupt billionaires. “This begins and ends with me,” he says, so you know it’s serious. Season two premieres on February 11.

There’s trailers for everything nowadays! NYCC was the venue for Wizards of the Coast’s big Magic: the Gathering and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collab. The set is part of their Universes Beyond collection, which also includes cards from The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Fallout, and more.

    This is a developing story.

  • 21 Cool Things We Spotted in Marvel’s Big TV Preview

21 Cool Things We Spotted in Marvel’s Big TV Preview

    [ad_1]

The future of Marvel Television is looking bright, as evidenced by the awesome new sizzle reel released on Wednesday. In the two-minute clip, Marvel debuted new footage from seven upcoming shows, several of which no one had seen any footage from yet.

There’s What If…? season three coming December 22—then in 2025, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man coming January 25, Daredevil: Born Again coming March 4, Ironheart on June 24, Eyes of Wakanda on August 6, Marvel Zombies in October, and Wonder Man rounding out the year in December.

And even though it’s a short preview, Marvel was sure to pack a lot in it. Here are the 21 cool things we spotted in the footage.

Matt and Wilson have a chat – Marvel

    Daredevil: Born Again

A new suit (:26)– Each time the Man Without Fear appears in Marvel, he’s seemingly got a new suit, and this time is no exception.

Mayor Fisk (:13, 1:34, 1:36)– As expected and teased, most notably in Echo, Wilson Fisk (aka the Kingpin) is now mayor of New York City.

Punisher is back (:15, 1:37) – While the first section of the trailer has a brief shot of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, later we see him in his Punisher outfit.

Muse (:09) – The footage features our first look at the villain Muse.

Yusuf Khan (:30)– Arguably the biggest Easter egg in the whole trailer is the appearance of Mr. Khan, aka Kamala’s dad from Ms. Marvel and The Marvels. He’s the guy asking Matt about being a lawyer. Could his daughter play a role here?

    Spider Man Animated Homemade
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – Marvel

    Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

The footage here is super quick so really the biggest takeaway is this unique spin (pun intended) on a Spider-Man staple—the homemade suit. (:36)

    Ironheart The Hood
Anthony Ramos as the Hood in Ironheart – Marvel

    Ironheart

Han Solo team up (:08)– Sorry, Alden Ehrenreich, you’re always young Han Solo to us. And in a very quick shot early in the trailer, we see that Riri Williams brings him one of her armors.

The Hood (:10, :45)– The trailer has a few quick looks at the Hood, the villain of the show played by Anthony Ramos.

New armors (:43, :47)– it looks like Riri will have a few armors in Ironheart and the white one is reminiscent of one of Tony Stark’s variants in Iron Man 3.

    Coulson Fury What If
Agents Coulson and Fury in What If…? – Marvel

    What If…? Season 3

Agent Coulson returns (:57) – Nick Fury leads a team, maybe traveling on the Bifrost, that includes everyone’s favorite agent, Coulson.

The Avenger Voltron (:59) – A shot of a Captain America-themed mech is from an episode where several Avengers pilot similar robots that all combine into one.

Cowboy Shang-Chi (:57) – An obvious one, but it’s good to finally see this hero back as we patiently wait for his live-action return.

    Marvel Zombies Blade
A very mysterious and intriguing character from Marvel Zombies – Marvel

    Marvel Zombies

Is that Blade? (1:02) – A man slices and dices up zombies that looks a little like Mahershala Ali in a Moon Knight costume. Is it Moon Knight? Is it Blade? Is it someone else?

Varied zombies (1:01)– A quick shot shows not only a zombie member of the Dora Milaje but also potentially Cull Obsidian?

Zombie Thanos (1:34) – An undead Thanos? What’s scarier than that?

    Eyes Of Wakanda Tease
A brief shot from Eyes of Wakanda – Marvel

    Eyes of Wakanda

There isn’t a ton we can glean from the two quick shots outside of its very unique and beautiful animation style that’ll feature many new characters from Wakanda. (1:25)

    Wonder Man Red Suit
An homage from Wonder Man – Marvel

    Wonder Man

Meet Simon (1:07) – Here’s our first look at Simon (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) who is not just auditioning for Wonder Man, he’ll become Wonder Man.

Trevor’s back (1:19) – Ben Kingsley is back in the MCU, once again reprising his role as failed actor Trevor Slattery from Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi. Glad to see he’s still in show business.

Costume homage (:08) – An early shot in the trailers shows Simon in a red suit, which feels like a reference to one of Simon’s alternative uniforms from the comics—his classic “safari jacket” casual look introduced in the late ’70s.

    But also –

    Marvel Disney Tease
Who is that on the bottom middle? – Marvel

There are two things in trailer that have us totally stumped. There’s an image of someone in front of what looks like a crime investigation (:10) that we’re unsure of. Is this from Ironheart? Wonder Man? And then there’s the image above from inside the TVA (:05). We can place almost all of the images in this scene except the one in the bottom middle. It looks like Josh Gad in black and white. Any ideas?

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) said the organization was “shocked and deeply saddened” to hear of Osorio’s death.

In a social media statement that assured that safety is the top priority, IATSE said it is “working to support our member’s family and his fellow members and colleagues.”

A GoFundMe page was launched by a self-identified friend of Osorio to help his family pay for what may be “a long road fraught with attorney fees and expenses.” The page has already raised over US$105,000 (about C$141,450).

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Osorio’s death.

Wonder Man production is set to begin next month. Filming was delayed amid the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes last year.

The 10-episode Marvel series will tell the story of the supernaturally powerful comic book character Simon Williams (a.k.a. Wonder Man), who finds employment under villain Baron Zemo after losing an industrial contract to Tony Stark’s Stark Industries. Though Wonder Man is initially an enemy of the famed Avengers, he eventually teams up with the squad.

Wonder Man was created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest and will star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. It will premiere on streaming service Disney+.
