The Voice Australia 2024 has officially crowned its champion, with Reuben de Melo from Team LeAnn taking home the grand prize after an intense public voting showdown on Sunday night. The highly anticipated finale showcased incredible talent as contestants Annie Jones, SkŸe, Reuben, and Jaedyn Randell each performed stunning duets with their coaches, followed by solo numbers that left the audience in awe.

The night was made even more special by the return of former coach Keith Urban, who electrified the stage with a performance of his latest single, “Messed Up As Me”. Not to be outdone, coach Adam Lambert kicked off the evening with a bang, belting out his hit “Whataya Want from Me” to set the tone for a night full of unforgettable moments.

Reuben de Melo Wins The Voice Australia 2024

Reuben and LeAnn’s breathtaking duet of Coldplay’s “Fix You” was a highlight, followed by Reuben’s powerful rendition of “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals, which truly showcased his vocal prowess.

The singer, a FIFO worker and devoted dad of two (soon to be three!), expressed how winning The Voice and the $100,000 prize would allow him to step away from the mines and spend more quality time with his growing family.

“I never thought I’d get this far, this is crazy,” Reuben reflected on his incredible journey.

His coach, LeAnn Rimes, couldn’t contain her pride, saying, “I’m so proud. You deserve every bit of this moment, and I’m so honoured that I could be on this journey with you. You are incredible.”

With Reuben’s victory, this season of The Voice Australia will be remembered not only for its stellar performances but also for the heartfelt stories behind each contestant. Congratulations to Reuben for this well-deserved win! What a season it has been.
