On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur-Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Do Deewane Seher Mein is a romantic drama which is also slated for February 20 release.     Assi Day 1 Box Office Prediction

    Assi’s advance booking had opened on Wednesday, two days before it releases in theatres.     Assi revolves around a teacher Parima (Kani Kusruti), who is kidnapped and gang-raped. The film explores the trauma she is subjected and her battle to get justice. (Taapsee Pannu). The film features Taapsee Pannu as advocate Raavi (who fights for Parima’s justice), Manoj Pahwa as father of one of the accused and Zeeshan Ayyub as Parima’s husband. Revathy has been roped in to play the judge.

    According to reports, the film could earn btween Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1.50 crore on its first day. The makers had officially announced that the advance booking of the film were made open today.

I know you guys are gutted, I know how much you wanted to bring a medal back to India, but this time it wasn’t meant to be.”

    Encouraging the young players to continue with their hard work, Mathias added, “But you have everything to be proud of, how hard you have worked in this Olympics camp, battling injuries, even taking injections to reduce the pain, that is dedication, that is passion and that is a lot of Heart.     Announcing his retirement as a coach, he stated, “For me, my coaching days ends here, I’m not going to continue in India or anywhere else, for now at least. I have spend too much time in a badminton hall and it’s also pretty stressful to be a coach, I’m a tired old man.” 

    Soon after he dropped the emotional post, his wife Taapsee Pannu took to the comments section to cheer him up. She humorously penned, “But also now u r a married man. U need to take a step back. I need to come back home from work everyday to ready dinner and cleaning in order. So chop chop!”

    While talking to Cosmopolitan India, Taapsee revealed that there was a lot of testing and a lot of her being sure about her relationship with Mathias. According to her, it was not a love-at-first-sight situation.

    “I took time to test if it’s really practical. The feasibility of the relationship was important for me. There’s so much hypocrisy. They will hear your one-line story and will be quick to ask, “Picture mein actor kaun hai (Who is the hero in the film)?” That decides their financial and emotional investment in the project,” stated Taapsee.

    The actress further asserted that while signing a movie, she never asked about her co-star or how big the makers are. She recalled working with so many first-time directors and co-stars who were newcomers; however, she believes not others look at things the same way.

    Taapsee opined that it all comes down to ‘star system’; even if the OTT platforms are there.

    She added, “Everyone involved is to be blamed for this culture. It includes the actors, studios, audience, and everyone. It’s a cycle. Just because the studios recover their investment (by selling digital rights) for the smaller films, there’s minimal interest in packaging and releasing a film well. That’s detrimental to the growth of the industry because you are only enabling the big names. Baakiyon ko chance kaise milega (How will the rest get a chance)? It will only widen the gap between actors and stars. We keep saying Bollywood doesn’t attempt something meaningful but when we try to do that, there’s rarely any support and this must change.”
