    The Yashoda actress is gearing up for the grand release of the upcoming romantic film Kushi, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film is scheduled to release on September 1 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada,  Malayalam, and Hindi. A few days ago, she also attended the promotions of Kushi despite being on a break. The actress won hearts with her performance at Kushi musical concert, which was held last Sunday. She also promised to be back very soon when she addressed her fans at the event.

And just a couple of minutes ago, the makers dropped Kushi Trailer. For many months now, Kushi has been the talk of the town. It is the first time that Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen sharing screen space with each other. And fans of both actors have been equally excited about the same.     The Kushi trailer begins with Vijay Deverakonda‘s Viplav visiting Kashmir with his friend. He falls in love with Kashmir which he describes as beautiful as the movie Roja. He then falls in love with a woman played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Being in the Hijab all the time, Viplav misunderstands that she is a Muslim. He keeps flirting with her and eventually, they fall in love. Aaradhya (Samantha’s character name) then reveals to him that he is a Brahmin. Her family is against the marriage but his family is pretty cool. Still, they both get married.

    Trouble starts brewing after they get married. The smallest of things are noticed by each other such as how she is always sad at home but happy when talking to her colleagues to how he shuts the door on her face or Viplav drinking, etc. He promises to be the best husband. However, the differences keep increasing and their arguments too. However, there are comedic elements attached to the trailer as well.

    Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Kushi is directed by Shiva Nirvana. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Apart from Vijay and Samantha, the film also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and many others. The film is scheduled to release on 1st September 2023. It has been shot in Kashmir, Hyderabad, Vizag and Alappuzha. It was during the shooting of Kushi that Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up on suffering from myositis. And hence, the shooting had to be stopped for a while. Essentially a Telugu movie, Kushi will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

    One actress who has always been subject to hateful comments and trolls since the beginning of her career is Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actress has also openly admitted that these merciless comments took a toll on her at one point. She had said that a few years ago, the first thing that she would do after waking up in the morning was check for hate comments about her. But now the actress is in a much better place.

    A user tweeted that a theater in Chennai had banners for two films in which women played lead roles. The user also added that women have come a long way, as 10 years ago such a sight would not have been witnessed. 

    The tweet read, “Passing by the Vettri theatre in Chromepet, my sister and I realised it had the banners of all the movies with a woman lead. What a long way Tamil cinema has come! 10 years back this would have been unimaginable.” Samantha was all for this positive change in the industry and replied by commenting, “Women are rising”

    A troll replied to her comment by stating that women rise to eventually fall. Samantha gracefully replied to the tweet and replied, “Getting back up makes it all the more sweeter my friend.”

    Samantha was subject to heavy trolling after her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. The actress was unnecessarily demeaned at the time just because she was getting divorced. One troll said that she had taken Rs 50 crore in tax alimony from a gentleman. 

    To this, she just replied with a simple “God bless your soul.” Rather than arguing with the trolls, the actress always takes the high road by calmly reacting to them. 

    Another user on Twitter was outright mean when commenting on the actress’ personal life. He tweeted, “She’s gonna end up dying alone with cats and dogs”

    Samantha gave an epic reply to the troll. She replied, “I would consider myself lucky”

    Samantha does not react to these hateful trolls in the same rude manner. On the contrary, she puts her point across in a composed manner.

    Samantha Ruth Prabhu has bought a new home worth 7.8 crore in Hyderabad, according to reports. The house is a 3BHK duplex which is reportedly located on the 13th and 14th floors of a building in Jayabheri Orange County, a prestigious part of the city.

    In a report by a leading news agency, real estate data analytics company CRE Matrix reported that Samantha’s new Hyderabad home includes six parking spots. “The property has a super built-up area of 7,944 sq ft, with 3,920 sq ft on the 13th floor and 4,024 sq ft on the 14th floor,” the description stated. Samantha’s new home will have extravagant amenities and ample open spaces.

    Samantha is the owner of a house in Jubilee Hills where she resided with her ex-husband, actor Naga Chaitanya. Since 2021, Samantha has been living in the same house with her two pet dogs, Hash and Saasha.

    There were also reports earlier this year that she had bought a 3BHK apartment with sea views in Mumbai. Currently, Samantha is making headlines for investing in another property.

    Naga Chaitanya, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Custody, opened up about his failed marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He called it ‘an unfortunate but said has immense respect for the phase’. The actor also indirectly addressed the dating rumours with Sobhita Dhulipala post-separation from Samantha.

    In an interview with Prema The Journalist, a YouTube Channel, Naga Chaitanya opened up about his failed marriage with Samantha and reacted to media reports regarding them. He said, “Whatever happened in my personal life with my marriage, that’s very unfortunate. But I have immense respect for that phase of my life. It is due to the media reportage and how they’ve portrayed everything by speculating and spreading rumours, the whole respect is lost, and diminished in the public eye. This is what hurt me a lot. It was almost a year since the court has given us divorce on mutual consent.”

    The actor also added that speculations on his love life and linking up him with a third party has ‘hurt’ him. He revealed, “Just for headlines, they’re linking my name to some third person and speculating more. This has really hurt me a lot. For no reason or fault at all of the third party, they’re being dragged into this whole issue. Whatever happened has happened, they should let go.  I just hope that they will stop and move on with my clarification now.”

    About Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s marriage

    Samantha and Naga Chaitanya fell in love on the sets of their film Ye Maya Chesave and had a fairytale destination wedding in 2017. After four years of marriage, the couple announced separation with a joint statement on social media. The Thank You actor revealed that last year they got officially divorced as well. 

    Upcoming films

    Meanwhile, Naga Custody is all set to release in Tamil and Telugu on May 12 in the theatres. Krithi Shetty is the female lead of the film. Arvind Swami is playing the role of antagonist.
