  • VIDEO: RHOSLC’s Jen Shah Reunites With Family After Prison Release as She’s Set to Serve Remainder of Sentence at Home, Plus She Sues Prison Warden

    [ad_1]

Jen Shah has been spotted for the first time since her release from prison on Wednesday morning.

As news of the 52-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum’s lawsuit against a prison warden was shared, and as it was revealed that she would be serving the remainder of her sentence at home, a video hit the web in which she was seen exiting the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas.

In the clip, shared by ABC News, Jen greeted husband Sharrieff “Coach” Shah and their sons, Sharrieff Jr., 31, and Omar, 22, with hugs before getting into a black SUV and driving off just after 1:00 a.m.

After leaving Texas, Jen and her family ventured back to Utah, where she is expected to serve the rest of her sentence at home. Jen also reported to a halfway house for orientation.

“Jen Shah has demonstrated strength, accountability, and resilience throughout this process,” Jen’s attorney, Candace N. Robinson, told PEOPLE, after her release. “Today represents not only a transition, but the beginning of a new chapter for her.”

“We continue to express our sincerest gratitude to the BOP for Jen’s early release,” her manager, Chris Giovanni, added. “Jen Shah remains thankful for the love and prayers from her supporters. Jen is focused on reuniting with her family and friends, while embarking on this new journey of redemption to make everything right.”

According to another report, Jen has accused a FPC Bryan prison warden of keeping her incarcerated “unconstitutionally” in an August 18 lawsuit, alleging that prison officials improperly calculated her release date and demanding she be let out of prison on August 6.

“She has had a spotless disciplinary record,” Jen’s filing explained, per Us Weekly, signaling a March review of her home conducted by officials.

Jen went on to state that she had experienced prejudice and loss of liberty “while being unconstitutionally confined beyond her scheduled release date,” noting that she had completed the Residential Drug Abuse Program on August 5, which earned her a 12-month reduction.

The program included nine months of “highly regimented programming, including daily treatment groups, individual counseling, written assignments, behavioral contracts and strict compliance with program rules.”

After being accused of unconstitutional behavior and of trying to rescind the credit Jen earned, the prison warden requested her case be dismissed, alleging that it had no merit and signaling a release date in August 2026.

Then, on October 3, Jen issued a response, declaring that she was still behind bars due to the prison’s “inconsistent administration of its own policies.”

Of the case, Jen’s attorney told Us Weekly, “Jen successfully completed the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) in August 2025 and, consistent with longstanding BOP policy and practice, should have been released shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, the Bureau of Prisons has a well-documented history of failing to release inmates in a timely manner even after they complete qualifying programming that entitles them to earlier release consideration.”

“Jen’s filing was not about avoiding responsibility — it was about ensuring that the BOP followed its own rules and honored the benefits tied to program completion. This is not an isolated issue and continues to affect incarcerated individuals across the country who have done exactly what the system asked of them,” she continued. “At this stage, Jen is now moving forward into the next phase of her sentence, which is pre-release custody, and remains focused on a successful and compliant transition.”

Meanwhile, a rep for the prison told the outlet they “do not comment on pending litigation, matters that are the subject of legal proceedings, or ongoing investigations.”

As for Jen’s house arrest, the rep said she would be released on August 30, 2026, and noted that she cannot make new credit card charges or open a new line of credit unless her probation officer approves, and that she is subject to home searches.

Plus, an order added, “You shall make installment payments toward your restitution in the amount of 15% of your gross income.”

A judge has yet to rule on Jen’s case.

  • Angie Katsanevas Reveals How Lisa Could Ruin RHOSLC as Mary Shares “Worst Part” & Heather Reveals Lowest Moment, Plus Whitney Reacts to Andy Suggesting Jen Shah Won’t Return

Angie Katsanevas, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, and Whitney Rose are opening up about their Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-stars and time on the Bravo reality series.

After being named as the “Reality Stars of the Year,” along with their castmates, including Meredith Marks, 53, and Bronwyn Newport, 40, the ladies targeted the bad behavior of others as Whitney, 39, reacted to Andy Cohen, 57, confirming that Jen Shah, 52, would never return to the show.

In their Us Weekly cover story, Angie, 51, shared her feeling that Lisa, 50, was trying to find dirt on the cast.

“I would like to see Lisa move differently in the group. Stop with going behind people’s backs,” she advised. “There’s much more interesting things … than trying to dig up information or making up lies about people in the group.”

Angie also admitted to thinking that Lisa’s antics could lead to the end of the series.

“Those things become unforgivable at some point, and it will ruin our show,” she warned.

After being asked about a misconception that bothered her, Mary, 52, shared the worst part of RHOSLC.

“The worst, darkest part was [my church] being called a cult, my little baby church,” she revealed. “Jen Shah put that out there, and then people took it and ran with it.”

She then spoke of her evolving relationships with her castmates.

“I feel like, the longer we know each other, the harder it gets to, like, for me to tell them off … Deep down, I really love them,” she admitted.

As for Heather, 51, she opened up about her lowest moment of the show.

“I came on thinking I was Lisa Barlow’s best friend. [It] was revealed to me about two weeks in that we had different versions of our friendship,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Lisa reacted to claims of “losing” her $60,000 ring to collect insurance money.

“The ring was not insured,” she confirmed, adding, “Most wealthy people don’t think about insuring their jewelry.”

Also during the interview, Whitney spoke of Andy saying that Jen wouldn’t be back on RHOSLC.

“I’m just grateful I have an answer for the red carpets now,” she noted.

The cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is gearing up for the premiere of season six of the show. However, Jen Shah, one of the show’s OGs, is still behind bars. Recently, she took to social media to share a photo of herself with her husband, Sharrieff Shah.

As fans of RHOSLC are aware, Jen, 51, was arrested in 2021 while filming season two of the show. She’s currently in prison for a telemarketing scheme that targeted the elderly. Notably, one of her victims, a 92-year-old man, is reported to have ended his life after losing $100,000 in the scheme. She was initially supposed to serve 78 months, but her sentence has been reduced multiple times.

Jen posted the Instagram photo of herself with Sharrieff, 54, in the early hours of August 27 to commemorate their 31st wedding anniversary.

She wrote in the caption, “Happy 31st Anniversary today to me and my baby! Words cannot express how much I love and appreciate you. You bring so much joy to my life & I am forever thankful for your overwhelming love and support as we approach this next chapter. Thank you for blessing me with two amazing young men. I love you so much & can’t wait to hold you again soon.”

She added, “#Bismillah,” which translates to “in the name of God.” She’s wearing what appears to be a green outfit, paired with a pair of black boots, and he’s wearing a black shirt and black pants, along with white shoes. Both are smiling, and they’re posing in front of what appears to be Valentine’s Day decorations.

Several fans took to the comments, with many demanding that Bravo bring her back to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after she’s released.

One person wrote, “They better bring back Jen!!! They brought back [Teresa].” Someone else said, “FREE JEN SHAH!!!”

Another fan commented, “Happy Anniversary!!! Love you guys.”

Finally, someone else wrote, “Now this is a good husband right here. Looking good, Jen! Hate this for you, but hoping it’s transformed you for the better. Everyone deserves redemption.”

As of March 2025, Jen is scheduled to be released from prison in September 2026.

Fans comment that Heather Gay’s appearance changed, with one user asking, “Who’s that?” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star owns a cosmetic medical practice, Beauty Lab + Laser, which she features on the show.

She’s now in the spotlight for exposing Monica Garcia’s ‘troll’ page, Reality Von Tease. Heather has suggested that Monica doesn’t belong in the group, and is too untrustworthy – though Heather admitted in the reunion that she lied too, for convicted criminal Jen Shah.

Amid Heather’s recent interview on Watch What Happens Live, fans began speculating that her appearance changed.

“Omg totally new face,” wrote one user on Reddit.

“I’m sorry, who’s that?” asked another.

Some claimed she now looks like cousin Whitney Rose. A different user suggested she “switched makeup artists.”

“She was pretty before and looks pretty now. Whatever makes her happy,” wrote another fan.

In November, Heather opened up about taking Ozempic to lose weight.

“I’ve been on it for a long time, but hadn’t really seen much results,” she said, in a past interview with PEOPLE. “And I haven’t had massive results, but enough for people to notice, which is great.”

“You lose five pounds, people are nicer to you,” she went on. “I don’t know why. It’s just the way the world works and that makes me sad for women … I’m feeling like I’m coming into my own a little bit and I think the glow up might be a little bit from that, too. But I’ll give credit to all the medical intervention.”

RHOSLC: Jen Shah's Ex-Designer Leaks Alleged DMs From Heather Gay to Expose Her Involvement With Jen Shah’s Audio Clips Before it Was Posted on Reality Von Tease, See His Post!

    [ad_1]

    Receipts. Proof. Timeline. Screenshots.

Jen Shah’s former designer Koa Johnson – who helped run the Reality Von Tease ‘troll’ page – revealed Heather Gay’s alleged DMs, suggesting she knew about Jen’s hot-mic recordings a month before the leak and was actively trying to use them against Jen. The recordings show Jen yelling at Koa and threatening to “beat the s**t out of” him.

On the season finale of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Heather raised her gavel against Monica Garcia, who leaked the audio. But the following information suggests Heather’s secret involvement.

“[Heather] knew about these recordings before they were posted…” said Koa, via @nosmokenomore on Instagram, “and was willing to use them against Jen. And I have proof of that…”

He then dropped screenshots of his alleged message exchange with Heather.

“If anyone asks you why you don’t work with her or if she tries to blame you – a 2 second excerpt of that audio will vindicate,” Heather allegedly wrote.

The message was timestamped on February 1, 2021, which was one month before Reality Von Tease leaked the recordings and nine months before Monica ever contacted casting.

When Koa shared he was getting “threats,” Heather allegedly responded, “Ugh I’m so sorry. I’ll give them to Meredith she will know what to do.”

She allegedly told Koa to “make receipts” and have “documents” showing that Jen stole gowns Koa made for her.

“Can I play the audio for Meredith?” Heather allegedly asked. “You need to get ahead of this. Can I give the audio to bravo or?”

  • Jen Shah’s Rep on Real Reason RHOSLC Alum Refused Andy Cohen's Interview, What Execs Allegedly Said as They Claim Producers Tried to “Bring” Jen “Down,” Plus Andy Cohen Shades Jen

Jen Shah’s Rep on Real Reason RHOSLC Alum Refused Andy Cohen's Interview, What Execs Allegedly Said as They Claim Producers Tried to “Bring” Jen “Down,” Plus Andy Cohen Shades Jen

    [ad_1]

Jen Shah got “direct calls” from execs after she refused the interview with Andy Cohen before her prison sentence, according to new claims being made by Jen’s rep.

Her team said the network “worked over time” to “bring down Jen,” and they knew about Monica Garcia’s controversial past amid her casting for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

“I understand that emotions are high right now as a lot of misinformation is being put out to the public maliciously due to a decision that was made back in January 2023,” wrote Jen’s rep, via a press release on dearjenshah.com. “That decision was to not move forward with a 1:1 interview [with Andy] and a mini-series.”

“Now that certain terms have been disclosed publicly on a radio show, I find it important to make transparent the true events as Jen closes the door on this toxic relationship with the network and production company,” the rep added, referring to Andy’s recent claims. “The 1:1 interview would [have] take[n] place in her home as they discussed the particulars of her case, and her relationship with the other ladies of the show. Due to the holidays and the looming sentencing date approaching, Jen elected to spend time with her family, as well as continue to abide by the advice of her legal representation – which is why she did not attend the Salt Lake City Season 3 reunion.”

According to the rep, Jen declined the network’s offer after weighing “certain clauses” of the agreement over “exclusivities and misrepresentation.”

“From there began a host of unknown and direct calls from production and network executives, attorneys, and other relative parties about this being her ‘opportunity’ … and threats of her exclusivity with the [show],” the release continued. “We were told ‘you know how much of an honor this is to sit down with Andy’. These calls and emails lasted until the middle of January, which were all met with respectful declines.”

The release also claimed executive producers wanted Jen’s husband Coach Sharrieff Shah to film for the latest season.

“That decision did not sit well with the network and production company,” said the rep. “Since Jen has made this decision, including declining other request from executive producers over the months, (I.E Asking Coach Shah to film for season four, inquiring on her life in prison, and her release date which continues to move up) – the network and production company have worked over time in their attempt to retaliate and bring down Jen.”

    In comes Monica.

“These examples [of retaliation] include casting an individual that was given a cease and desist back in 2021, in which the production company, and network were sent a copy of at that time. Allowing various guest to come on a weekly variety show and imply Jen’s involvement in a physical act that did not occur,” alleged the rep, alluding to Heather’s black eye. “Even sending certain cast members to try and rekindle with Jen or close family members in ‘hopes’ of getting added to her video call list, for what we can all assume was for storyline in Season 4. These instances were all met with no reply.”

The release said Jen will “speak her side of the story” in time, and they cryptically added: “The great thing about technology is that all phone calls, emails, and text messages are recorded.”

Meanwhile, Andy threw some major shade at Jen during Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live while addressing rapper Eminem’s lawsuit against RHOP stars Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant.

“Who ever thought you would be in a lawsuit with Eminem over the word shady? That is dumb,” said Andy.

Robyn responded: “It’s the most bizarre twilight zone…”

Andy replied, “Kinda like Jen Shah tweeting from jail.”

Live Viewing Thread – This is also the live viewing thread for part one of the RHOSLC season four three-part reunion. Feel free to chat and comment below as the episode airs tonight on Bravo at 8/7c.

Jen Shah Denies Heather Gay’s Claim That She Gave Her Black Eye, and Shares Why Andy Is “Butt Hurt,” as RHOSLC Alum Danna Hints at More “Physical Things” on Night of Injury

Jen Shah reacted to Heather Gay’s accusation that she gave her a black eye, and she shared why Andy Cohen is still “butt hurt.” Meanwhile, alum Danna Bui-Negrete hinted at more “physical things” on the night of the injury, and she claimed that most castmates “knew that it came from Jen.”

The wound was a source of mystery on season three of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Many fans were outraged that Heather never identified the culprit. At the time, she claimed she couldn’t remember what happened – though the details of her story kept changing.

“If [I] punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it,” wrote Jen on her Instagram Stories on January 3, addressing Bravo directly. “It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4.”

“Andy is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview,” she continued. “Why would you sit down with someone who ‘gave’ another cast member a black eye? Next story.”

On the night of the finale, Danna – who attended the trip when the injury occurred – popped up on Monica Garcia‘s Instagram Live and addressed it.

“To be honest we didn’t see it, but there was a lot of physical things happening that night,” said Danna, in a clip shared by @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “They were drunk. They were really rowdy. But I think most of us knew that it came from Jen.”

According to Danna, no one “wanted to say anything” because they didn’t see it with their own eyes.

Jen Shah Gets Tattoos Honouring Her Husband And Children Ahead Of Prison Sentence

    [ad_1]

    By Mona Khalifeh‍, ETOnline.com.

Jen Shah is honouring her family amid her impending prison sentence. “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, who is due to surrender herself to prison on Feb. 17, took to her Instagram Stories Wednesday to show off two tattoos she got in honour of her husband, Sharrieff, and their two sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar.

The first tattoo Shah shared appears on her forearm and features the word, “Keiki,” which means child in Hawaiian. A second photo shows the inside of her arm, which has her husband’s and sons’ names written out in cursive.

“Sharrieff, Omar, Sharrieff,” the tattoo reads.

The ink comes just one month after Shah was sentenced to six and a half years in prison, plus five years of supervised release for her alleged involvement in a money laundering scheme.

After the sentence was handed down last month, the 49-year-old tearfully apologized to her husband, and her two sons, who, according to ABC News, were seated behind her.

“I am profoundly and deeply sorry,” Shah said, the news outlet reported.

ABC News also reported that Judge Sidney Stein relayed he was “a little concerned” that the Housewives’ manager was in the courtroom and warned her against trying to profit from her crime. The judge also urged her to focus on restitution to the victims involved. ABC News also reported that the judge questioned whether Shah was still selling “Free Jen” or “Justice for Jen” merchandise, but the judge was told the merchandise was taken down from her website and proceeds from prior sales would be used to pay restitution.

“With today’s sentence, Jennifer Shah finally faces the consequences of the many years she spent targeting vulnerable, elderly victims,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement. “These individuals were lured in by false promises of financial security, but in reality, Shah and her co-conspirators defrauded them out of their savings and left them with nothing to show for it. This conviction and sentence demonstrate once again that we will continue to vigorously protect victims of financial fraud and hold accountable those who engage in fraudulent schemes.”

Back in July 2022, the reality star appeared in Manhattan federal court and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. The second count, conspiracy to commit money laundering, was dropped at the time.

In December, Shah filed a petition with the presiding judge asking for a reduced sentence of three years behind bars, instead of the advisory sentencing of 11 to 14 years in prison. She faced a potential maximum of 30 years in prison and five years of supervised release.

Along with her guilty plea, the Bravo celebrity agreed to forfeit $6.5 million and to pay restitution of up to $9.5 million.

‘RHOSLC’ Star Jen Shah Sentenced To 6.5 Years In Prison

The sentence came down earlier this month, sending her to prison for up to six-and-a-half years for her role in orchestrating a fraud scheme.

“Listen, any old person or anyone who just doesn’t really understand what’s going on with the internet or how many scams are going along, people are susceptible to stuff like this,” Cohen said. “And if you read the Victim Impact report, it was pretty stunning.”

He then revealed, “I’m hoping to go talk to Jen this weekend. I’m hopeful that I can do that sit down with her in front of some cameras and deliver that to you. I’m really hoping to do that.”

As to questions about whether Shah will be able to continue appearing on the show, he said, “She’s going to serve her time. So you tell me, is she on the show or not? I don’t understand what people want me to say.”

That will mean some changes for “RHOSLC”, but Cohen isn’t sweating things.

“Listen, it’ll be a big loss for the show,” he said, but added, “We have great casting for next year.”

Cohen continued, “I’m feeling good. But I am saying it is a loss.”
