  • The 5 Must-Have Denim Trends of Fall 2025

When it comes to denim, “best” is highly subjective. Trends wax and wane with alarming frequency, waistlines rise and fall like the tides, and the range of fits seen on the racks in one season can go from skintight to palazzo-pant-level loose. Right now, however, designers are bucking the tendency to avoid extremes. Quiet luxury isn’t a factor for fall—denim from Levi’s to Lanvin is testing the limits of what it means to be a pair of jeans. Take the latter brand’s pleated denim, or the former’s bell-shaped XL baggy slacks, which come with a tie at the waist.

Of course, classics are not off the menu by any means—these are blue jeans we’re talking about, the epitome of a signature. We’re loving bootcut styles from Abercrombie just as much as the higher-priced versions from Celine and Isabel Marant. Straight-leg has proven a mainstay, and Prada and The Row’s styles epitomize why this silhouette will always be an ideal. When it comes to an off-duty denim look, unusual and surreal shapes are finally hitting the jeans market, after making stops on couture and ready-to-wear runways. Now, this trend is manifesting in horseshoe pants by Alaïa and Forme. For more of our favorite jeans of the moment, keep scrolling:

    The Straight-and-Narrow

If you’re looking to wade back into skinny jean territory, we implore you, just start here for now.

    A Slight Flare

On the other hand, if it’s the flare resurgence you seek, ease your way in with a pair of boot-cut jeans.

    Neat Pleat

Take your slacks up a notch with this teeny tailoring detail: a stitch that makes all the difference.

    Room to Breathe

Big, baggy styles were all over the fall 2025 runways (and, of late, in the streets of lower Manhattan), signifying a return to even more ’90s jeans styles. But these garments are far from old-school.

    New Shapes

Horseshoe, barrel leg, über-XL styles—whatever your flavor, this season has a silhouette for you.

  • How to style mom jeans, according to a denim fiend

Mom jeans are, quite literally, the mother of all jeans for women. Once considered an 80s fashion staple, mom jeans have transcended the eras; they’re a cut we’ve relied on in every decade since.

The best pairs typically feature a tapered leg, roomy thigh, and high waistline – which is ultra-flattering for all body shapes. Unsurprising, then, that Mom jeans have been cosigned one of the best style of jeans for women by Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Dakota Johnson. The timeless style reigns supreme even when new styles emerge. Think: balloon leg or carrot-cut jeans. Consider them a happy medium between the barrel-leg jean, straight-leg and skinny jean.

A quick flick through your family album and you will most likely see your parents, aunts, cousins and other relatives wearing the baggy jeans with a white T-shirt, or a jewel-toned cropped blazer fitted with shoulder pads and embellishment. But how should you style Mom jeans now? Funnily enough, it isn’t too far off how our predecessors wore them.

For casual days, team your mom jeans with a boxy fit crew neck tee layered under a red knitted jumper and trainers. Alternatively, Mom jeans complement a fitted top, such as a one-shoulder top, bodysuit, a waistcoat, a lace cami top, or an oversize blazer with a pair of slingback kitten heels.

Whether you take style inspiration from Cindy Crawford in the 90s, Elsa Hosk or Gigi Hadid’s contemporary take on the denim style, maybe the runway looks at Ganni and Moschino, we have whittled down some of our favourite ways to style Mom jeans and the best denims to buy.

    SKIP TO:

Ahead, our editors’ take on how to style mom jeans.

LOOK 1: Ankle Grazer Mom Jeans, Tank Top And Loafers

    Getty Images

Ankle grazer Mom jeans are a personal favourite of mine, because they allow your shoe game to shine. The loose fit and mid-length silhouette can be paired with any basic top, a blazer and high heels, pointed-toe boots, as well as trainers, ballet flats, flat sandals or loafers. TBH, the latter is my personal favourite to wear in the summer months and transitional seasons when I want to shield my toes from the wind and rain.

  • 2026 Jeans Trends, Including the Micro Trend Stylists Say Is Quietly on the Rise

Jeans trends ebb and flow a lot. Although it might seem like the style you’ve finally accepted into your wardrobe (cough, low-rise jeans, cough) is already on its way out, denim trends actually stick around much longer than you’d think. Case in point: many of the 2026 jeans trends are actually quite similar to those of 2025, with a few micro trends also on the rise.

2026 is all about variety when it comes to denim. “The jean trends have sort of an ‘anything goes’ umbrella, including baggy styles, straight leg, high-waisted flares, low-rise, and bootcuts,” says celebrity stylist Samantha Brown. She also says to expect a lot more gray—including light washes and deep charcoals—in 2026.

As far as micro-trends are concerned, Brown says not to be surprised to see some of the craftier styles become more dominant in the new year, too. “Embellished jeans have always had a place on the sidelines, but we’re seeing them studded, embroidered, with rhinestones, appliques, and painted,” she notes.

The Best Jeans to Wear in 2026

If you’re looking ahead to 2026 style and want to refresh your wardrobe with some new denim styles that will continue to trend in the new year, we’ve got you covered with top picks from Levi’s, Lee, Target, Nordstrom, and more. Here are the best jeans to wear in 2026.

Our mission at STYLECASTER is to bring style to the people, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Levi’s is a STYLECASTER sponsor, however, all products in this article were independently selected by our editors. In 2026, straight jeans remain a go-to choice, particularly well-suited for everyday wear. You can wear this trendy yet timeless style more casually with sneakers and a T-shirt, or dress it up with a pair of ankle booties (yes, those are also on-trend) and a blouse or button-down top for a more business-casual look.

    Levi’s XL Baggy Straight Jeans

    On Sale 31% off

Straight jeans are a classic wardrobe staple, and nothing says classic quite like a pair of Levi’s. The Levi’s XL Baggy Straight Jeans are an excellent choice for this denim trend, thanks to their versatility and comfortable fit. These jeans are available in four washes—including some trendier gray tones—and are constructed from 100% cotton material, providing a slightly more structured fit compared to a stretchier style.

    Sizes Available: 23-34
    Washes: 4

    Lee Loose Crop Button-Fly Jeans

Straight jeans come in all sorts of styles, including slouchier picks like the Lee Loose Crop Button-Fly Jeans. These jeans are constructed with a straight leg and feature a low-slung hip, giving them a more laidback style that looks great with loafers and socks, sneakers, and booties.

    Sizes Available: 24-35
    Washes: 4

    Washes: 3

According to Brown, a lot of the 2025 jean trends will continue in 2026 with an “anything goes” approach to denim styles. In the new year, try baggy jeans in an assortment of styles, including low-rise and wide-leg silhouettes.

EMMIOL Vintage Y2K Wide Leg Jeans

For a classic pair of baggy Y2K style jeans, go with the EMMIOL Vintage Y2K Wide Leg Jeans from Walmart. These budget-friendly jeans are a pair you’ll wear on repeat in 2026, thanks to their versatile style and comfortable fit.

    Sizes Available: S-XXL

    Cotton On 91 Wide Jeans

For another classic baggy jeans style, consider the Cotton On 91 Wide Jeans. These jeans scream 90s with their wide pleated legs, but with a modern twist thanks to the high-rise fit.

    Sizes Available: 0-20
    Washes: 5

High-rise flare jeans are also in style in 2026. This silhouette is the perfect choice for those who want to dress up their denim or add some extra height to the frame (the high-rise flare silhouette elongates the legs!). They’re also a nice choice for pairing with heeled boots.

Sofia by Sofia Vergara Melisa Flare High Rise Jeans

We’re obsessed with the Sofia by Sofia Vergara collection at Walmart, and these Melisa Flare High Rise Jeans are the perfect pick for high-rise flare jeans in 2026. They’re sleek and elegant enough to dress up with a pair of heeled boots and a sweater in the winter and are a great business casual pick for the office, as well.

Sizes Available: 00-18 (standard); 14-28 (plus)
    Washes: 13

    SPANXshape EveryWear Flare Jeans

For another classic pair of flare jeans, consider the SPANXshape EveryWear Flare Jeans. These jeans might look like your average pair of flares, but they have built-in compression for a shapewear-like effect in the booty, core, and thighs.

    Sizes Available: XS-3XL
    Washes: 2

All-over dark denim and flare jeans make for an office wear dream team, thanks to their elevated business casual style. If you want to add a trendy style to your work wardrobe in 2026, let it be this pair of Madewell Flare Jeans, which are constructed from 100% cotton for structure and come in a rich dark indigo tone.

    Sizes Available: 23-31
    Washes: 1

The Y2K low-rise jeans styles still reign in 2026, with lots more silhouettes to choose from. This jeans style is typically paired with a slouchier silhouette for a comfortable, laid-back look, but you can totally push the boundaries in 2026 with bootcuts and flares, in addition to baggy jeans.

    Wild Fable Low-Rise Baggy Jeans

Target is another great place to find trendy jeans for cheap—and the Wild Fable Low-Rise Baggy Jeans are one of our favorites. These jeans are available in an excellent size range from 00 to 30 and come in some fun washes and styles, too, including a pin-striped carpenter and a drawstring style.

    Sizes Available: 00-30
    Washes: 6

Abercrombie & Fitch Low Rise Baggy Jean

    On Sale 15% off

Abercrombie was a go-to retailer for low-rise jeans in the early 2000s, and now it’s back with more modern takes on the vintage-inspired style. The Abercrombie & Fitch Low Rise Baggy Jean come in several designs, including a crossover waistband option that is still very much a favorite in our closet.

    Sizes Available: 23-37
    Washes: 11

    Ética Missy Low-Rise Bootcut Jeans

The Ética Missy Low-Rise Bootcut Jeans combine the low-rise and bootcut styles that will reign in 2026—and we love the thicker waistband with a double button closure for added flare.

    Sizes Available: 24-34
    Washes: 1

The fashion industry is in its Western era, and with so many cowboy-inspired silhouettes, fabrics, and prints, it’s not surprising to see bootcut jeans as one of 2026’s top denim trends. These styles look great with a pair of boots, of course, but they’re also a nice choice for more petite frames who want some shape without a dramatic flare.

KanCan Anne Low Rise Bootcut Jeans

For a pair of under $100 bootcut jeans, try the KanCan Anne Low Rise Bootcut Jeans from Nordstrom. These budget-friendly jeans feature that classic Western denim silhouette with a trendy early 2000s-era low-rise fit and deep indigo denim wash.

    Sizes Available: 23-31
    Washes: 2

Silver Jeans Co. Suki Coated Curvy Mid Rise Slim Bootcut Jeans

If bootcut jeans are your favorite style, you’re already way ahead of the 2026 trends. To switch up your options, try a leather-like style such as the Silver Jeans Co. Suki Coated Curvy Mid Rise Slim Bootcut Jeans. These jeans boast a classic mid-rise fit and bootcut leg, with a coated effect that creates a leather-like look.

    Sizes Available: 24-34

    Sizes Available: 24-30
    Washes: 1

According to Brown, it’s not just about jeans styles in 2026; it’s also about the wash. While blue jeans aren’t going anywhere, gray washes—including ultra-light washes and deep charcoal tones—will rise in popularity in the new year.

    Lee Rider Low-Slung Barrel Jeans

The Lee Rider Low-Slung Barrel Jeans take an effortless chic approach to the gray denim trend with their low-rise fit and baggy barrel shape. These jeans are available in a light gray wash, which gives them a more casual feel that looks cute with sneakers.

    Sizes Available: 25-32
    Washes: 1

    Rolla’s Heidi Low-Rise Jeans

The Rolla’s Heidi Low-Rise Jeans are another pair worth considering if you want to try the gray denim trend in 2026. These jeans come in five washes, including a worn black hue that boasts a dark charcoal tone. They also feature a low-rise fit, which aligns well with other 2026 jeans trends.

    Sizes Available: 24-33
    Washes: 5

Habitual Evie High-Rise Embellished Barrel Jeans

If embroidery isn’t your preference, you can still have fun with the embellished denim trend. Case in point: The Habitual Evie High-Rise Embellished Barrel Jeans are embedded with silver rivets for a fun detail.

  • Every style of jeans explained, from barrel to wide-leg

The popular jean style first crept on our radar when Alaïa showcased them in the Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, but it wasn’t until the summer of 2024 the style started to gain traction. Now, the jean style is everywhere we look – and has been cosigned by Dakota Johnson and Gigi Hadid.

Barrel-leg jeans are considered a hybrid between Mom jeans and ankle-grazer jeans, because of the curved leg and the exaggerated silhouette it creates, which is super flattering for all body shapes and sizes.

Style tip: There are various ways to style barrel leg jeans to weave into your wardrobe seamlessly. Team with a white T-shirt, button-up cardigan, a timeless trench coat and ballet pumps or loafers like Dakota Johnson and Gigi Hadid for everyday wear.

Alternatively pair with kitten heel sling-backs, a crisp shirt and an oversize clutch bag for cocktails with the girls.

    2. Wide Leg Jeans

Wide leg jeans boast a straight cut from the hips, down the leg, running all the way to the very hem. However, the width of these can vary. Some wide legs skim the body, as styled on Lori Harvey, while others have a turn up at the ankle like Kendall Jenner’s jeans. Some are oversized and reminiscent of the 90s baggy jean – a cut which J.Lo has opted for.

This type of jean is (arguably) the best for those who want to experiment with the rise. Some may prefer a high-waisted jean to elongate their legs and contrast the exaggerated width, but Gen-Z are leaning into the low rise wide-leg jeans. There is a place for them all, it just depends on the aesthetic you are going for.

Style tip: Wondering how to style wide-leg jeans? They compliment trainers beautifully for that cool off-duty look, as well as ballet pumps and loafers for a contemporary twist. Wide-leg jeans can also be styled with heeled boots or a slingback heels of an evening.

    3. Straight Leg Jeans

Straight leg jeans, also known as a slim taper jean, do exactly what they say on the tin. These jeans boast a straight cut from the hips to the hem of the jeans, whether they are an ankle grazer or longer in length.

Straight leg jeans are a hugely popular style because they are a happy medium between skinny jeans and wide leg jeans – and they’re available in high rise, mid rise and low rise waist, as well as full leg and shorter lengths, too. (Shop more tall jeans here, and petite jeans this way).

While high rise ankle grazer straight leg jeans dominated street style circa 2018, the longer length styles adorned by Alexa Chung now reign supreme. In our humble opinion, these jeans are the most versatile, timeless and flattering jeans out of all the styles. Opt for dark denim, black jeans, as well as a pair of white jeans to see you through every season, and for many years to come.

Style tip: The ‘It’ crowd are teaming their straight tapered jeans with loafers, even an ankle socks, T-shirt, checked shirt tied around the waist and an oversized bomber jacket. While we still love an ankle grazer straight leg with pointed toe boots and a blazer. Come the summer months, these jeans pair perfectly with sandals (heeled and flat), as well as trainers, ballet pumps and mule loafers.

    4. Skinny Jeans

Many thought skinny jeans had their last hoorah circa 2020, but they’d be mistaken. While skinnies flew under the radar for the last few years, the style that had the globe obsessed for decades is now making a comeback – thanks to Topshop’s return. We have also seen Miu Miu bring back the low rise skinny jeans, which are expectedly divisive.

Style tip: Ultra high rise skinny jeans with a skimpy crop top and Jeffrey Campbell heels were the uniform of the 2010s. Now, skinny jeans are being paired with dramatic tops, such as textured capes, oversize bomber jackets, blazers with exaggerated shoulder pads to contrast the cinched in waist, or with a simple boxy white tee. When it comes to footwear Kate Moss pairs with knee high heeled boots.

We mentioned previously that Miu Miu’s Autumn/Winter 2024 runway saw the return of the controversial low-rise denim trend, but other designers, such as Chanel and Stella McCartney, also support the Y2K style comeback.

  • Barrel leg jeans are my go-to on ‘I don’t know what to wear’ days

The topic of women’s jeans is a divisive one; everyone’s favourite shape differs. But if 2025 has taught me anything thus far, it’s that the best barrel leg jeans have us united. Not a single one of my fashion editor friends or colleagues dislikes them – and I can’t blame them, considering the wide leg pairs need little styling to look elevated thanks to the voluminous leg shape.

So when did the love for this fresh denim shape begin? It all started in AW23 when Alaïa made a pair the focal point of their entire runway. The barrel-leg trend took flight, and fashion hasn’t looked back since – nope, not even for classic high waist straight-leg or mom jeans.

With Agolde and Citizens of Humanity leading the way, multiple brands have seen huge success from their balloon-shape denim, so you best believe they’re the silhouette to shop throughout the rest of 2025. And it’s not just specialist brands who have tapped into the denim trend, there’s so many best-selling pairs in the ‘new in’ sections all over the high street right now, too – with everyone from Cos and Arket to Free People and Nobody’s Child having iterations to choose from.

    Agolde Luna High-Rise Tapered Jeans

While some of you will be welcoming the news of the skinny jeans’ return – you’ve no doubt seen the return of Topshop’s iconic Joni jeans after its runway return this month – but I, for one, am dreading it. So much so, that I’ve set my sights on their antithesis. I want to be wearing capacious barrel leg jeans that look just as chic with a cardigan and loafers, as they do with kitten heels and a blouse.

I’m not the only one, either. Google searches for ‘barrel jeans’ are up by around 41% since this time last year, and the street style set is into it too. Bella Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, prove this pair of wide leg jeans is the off-duty model failsafe, whilst Katie Holmes has shown this year that the trend transcends seasons.

Keep wearing mid wash blue balloon jeans (or lemon, like this fun ASOS Design pair) throughout the warmer months, and come autumn/winter, simply switch to dark denim colourways. I’ve already saved the extra baggy wide leg Citizens of Humanity black pair.

According to social media, I’m not the only one who has a crush on them either – with fashion insiders showing how to style barrel leg jeans by the LA brand with everything from oversized blazers to lightweight knitwear and floaty GANNI tops. Basically, they look great with practically any top, which is why they’re the go-to for so many stylists, editors and fashion people.

What is another name for barrel leg jeans?

Barrel leg jeans have a few different names – it just depends on which brand you’re shopping from. Citizens of Humanity call them ‘horseshoe jeans’, with this super wide-leg pair by Citizen of Humanity being our faves, whilst you might also see them named ‘balloon jeans’, or referred to as ‘tapered’ like Agolde’s Luna high-rise jeans.

Slightly equestrian and adhering to the current cowboy movement, the best barrel-leg jeans are far more wearable than you’d likely first imagine. Try them over a pair of kitten heels or ballet pumps to balance out the oversized barrel silhouette with a delicate and feminine contrast, and opt for something more fitting on top. With that being said, though, I equally like the look of a fully voluminous outfit by opting for a bomber leather jacket, just how GLAMOUR’s senior european commerce editor Sophie Cockett has styled her Aligne white Tommy pair (above) for a transeasonal look that’ll never fail.

Now you’ve got some barrel leg outfit inspiration, here are the best pairs to suit all budgets.

  • Barrel-Leg Jeans Are Trending: How R29 Editors Style The Look For Fall

Barrel-Leg Jeans Are Trending: How R29 Editors Style The Look For Fall

“At 5’2”, I was worried that barrel jeans would swamp my petite frame (as wide-leg trousers often do). But it turns out that this style is perfect; I don’t have to hem them (as I usually have to do with jeans that don’t have a shorter inseam), and the subtle curved shape of these jeans makes me look way taller than I am (magic!). This pair in particular is so comfy, though I would recommend sizing down if, like me, you’re in between sizes, as they sit lower-waisted than anticipated.

In terms of styling, I wanted to counter the slouchy, oversized energy of the jeans with some fun, touches (and play off the cool star-patch pattern). So, instead of pairing them with a chunkier shoe silhouette, I went for my favorite ballet flats (which unexpectedly matched my cardigan), and a form-fitting baby tee that doesn’t challenge the bagginess of the trousers. As it gets colder, I’ll be swapping these out for cropped knits, colorful cowboy boots, and my favorite Penny Lane coats to add to the edgy, vintage vibe.” — Esther Newman, Affiliate Writer

  • JLo’s Jeans Are as Big as Her Ego & I’m Here for It

JLo’s Jeans Are as Big as Her Ego & I’m Here for It

Jennifer Lopez has had a season, that’s for sure. She made a controversial documentary about her life that she funded on her own, and it has been derided by intellectual cinephiles and online haters. Fair enough, that was kinda silly. But if you were JLo, would you not spend your own money making art that no one else understands? That’s a charmed life, bitch. But what we’re here to talk about is the outfit. Jennifer Lopez’ pleated jeans look amazing and actually, they endear me to her.

While stepping out in Manhattan this afternoon, she wore a very cool pair of ginormous pleated balloon jeans. The jeans have a button up closure. She paired it with a boxy gray turtleneck and a pair of white K-SWISS platform sneaks. Perfect fit. It has an obnoxiously big tag that says, “MADE IN ITALY,” which is funny because after having watched the Brandy Melville doc, we know that doesn’t mean anything. But JLo doesn’t need to prove she’s posh to us.

Despite all the commotion, I want to see Jennifer Lopez win. The Internet is laughing at her movie and her bodega order, and honestly, YAWN. She’s a rich lady who is trying and failing to be relatable. Who cares? I am always rooting for a scorned woman having a rough press day. And even though her pants are as big as her ego, at least she knows how to style it.

  • Found: the best plus-size jeans for 2024

Found: the best plus-size jeans for 2024

“Let’s go shopping for plus size jeans,” is a statement which used to give me absolute nightmares. Being a plus-size girlie with a small waist and much larger hip, finding jeans to actually fit and not leave that huge gap above my bum (that even a belt can’t hold together) isn’t the easiest task at hand.

Usually, I like to go for skinny jean with a lot of stretch so it can mould to my curves (something like Good American’s Good Curve Light Compression style that I’m wearing below), but to be totally transparent, that was also the only real jean style that I could fit to fit my shape during most of my teens.

Sometimes I wanted that tighter skinny fit with a bodysuit underneath, but sometimes I just wanted a casual baggy jean with an oversized white shirt. I used to think that feeling confident in jeans meant that it had to be a style that was sculpted to my silhouette, but now I know it’s whatever you feel comfortable in.

Fast forward to 2024 and I’m so happy that I’ve been able to find so many different cuts and shapes of denim for our plus-size bodies. We’ve had designers such as Karoline Vitto work with denim in her Dolce and Gabbana collaboration collection last September in Milan (in an incredible curve-inclusive show), and most recently we’ve seen Sinead O’Dwyer using denim on the runway in London this past season with oversize fits, raw hems and that 90s style on visually plus size models.

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

Stiff denim, 90s wide fits, restrictive waistbands and generic silhouettes have meant that options have fallen short on what’s available for curvy women in the past – but it doesn’t have to be this way anymore.

19 Fashion Brands That Get Petite Sizing Just Right

Shopping for petite clothing becomes particularly difficult when hunting for items that aren’t so easily altered like jeans or pants. Plus, swimwear, eveningwear, and dresses are often more difficult to find at the right length or flattering proportions if you’re under 5’5″.

  • I’m 6ft tall and these are the best tall jeans for women I’ve found (and bought)

I’m 6ft tall and these are the best tall jeans for women I’ve found (and bought)

If I can call myself an expert on anything, it is this: finding the best tall jeans.

Fellow tall gals know the struggle all too well: you find something cute while online shopping, you order it and try it on only to find that it looks like it was made for a child it’s so short. Finding jeans that fit us is one of life’s biggest trials (and don’t even get me started on dresses, jumpsuits, playsuits, swimwear and skirts).

As if denim shopping wasn’t difficult enough for the average-height person, it’s 10 times worse for anyone over 5’8″. I’m six feet tall, and I can honestly say I spend my life trawling the internet for the perfect pair of jeans morning, noon and night. Best believe that when I do find a pair that fits, I buy them in every colour.

When cropped mom jeans became chic, us leggy girls were in our element (essentially all our jeans are cropped, am I right?). Having said that, it’s nice to sometimes have the option of wearing something longer, like baggy jeans, flared jeans, straight leg jeans or high-waisted jeans that don’t look like cut-offs. Don’t get me wrong, a good ol’ ankle grazer is ideal for spotlighting some box-fresh white trainers or chunky dad sandals, but while everyone else gets to look like they’re wearing their boyfriend’s jeans, I look like I’m wearing a 12-year-old’s.

Georgia Trodd wears the Ultra High Rise 90s Straight Jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch.

Ultra High Rise 90s Straight Jean

I know I’m not the only tall person who feels let down when it comes to the variety of places that cater to us, either. When Topshop had stores, you could walk in and be greeted by a ginormous ‘Petite’ section but you’d be lucky if the ‘Tall’ area even existed – often it’d just be one rail and generally consisted of mismatched pieces that were obviously returns people had bought online. High-street favourite Zara don’t specifically cater to taller ladies, and neither do H&M – it’s just pot luck if you find something that fits or is labelled ‘full length’ – and designer brands barely accommodate for plus size jeans, let alone different heights.

The good news is that Instagram has brought about a flourish of influencers and bloggers who are all different shapes and sizes, including heights. Some of my go-to tall girls for inspiration when it comes to where to shop are Olivia Laura Turner, Zanna Vandijk, Tara Jade, Jacqueline Ilumoka and Ashley Battle. Even if they haven’t bought something that’s specifically labelled as ‘Tall’, it’s super handy to see how general pieces of clothing fit and look on them so I don’t have to go through the trouble of testing them myself.

Top tip: some brands like Marks & Spencer and Abercrombie & Fitch do, in fact, carry jeans for tall women – just look out for/select the ‘Long’ or ‘Extra Long’ option when picking your size before you check out.

  • True Fashion People Are Rule Breakers—8 Ways They’re Wearing White Denim Now

True Fashion People Are Rule Breakers—8 Ways They’re Wearing White Denim Now

There was a time when wearing white jeans at any time of year besides the summer was a true fashion faux pas. White jeans were for summer, and blue jeans were for everything else—no room for debate. While many traditional folks still buy into this narrative, fashion people tend to disagree. What can we say? We like to break the rules. Wearing white jeans whenever it feels like the right time to put them on is exactly what I would expect from the fashion crowd, and I’ve been seeing a lot of it lately.

With the vanilla-girl aesthetic *still* all over my FYP, there hasn’t been a better time to wear white denim in any which way that you like it. Whether you’re after the “winter whites” look or you’re going for a wardrobe revamp, these eight outfits will inspire your white-denim adventures.

  • 19 Pairs of White Jeans With Excellent Reviews

19 Pairs of White Jeans With Excellent Reviews

Even before you get to the question of red wine and barbecue sauce, white jeans can be a treacherous proposition. If the denim is too thin, it’s bound to be see-through. If it’s too thick, it’s going to be relegated to the back of your drawer once the warm weather hits (which, odds are, is exactly when you’ll want to be wearing them).

But given how many pairs of white jeans we start seeing on Instagram come Memorial Day every year, there must be a Goldilocks-style solution to finding a pair that’s just right. And while you could go out and try on a few dozen pairs under unforgiving dressing room fluorescents, we’re partial to the alternative: going off the wisdom and experience of shoppers who have already taken them for a test drive.

In the interest of tracking down the best crisp white jeans to pair with your striped shirts and go-to denim jacket, we trawled the reviews of retailers such as Everlane, Nordstrom, and Shopbop to find the best white jeans. Read on to shop them all.
