    Sara Ali Khan is on a career-high these days as she has two back-to-back releases on OTT, Murder Mubarak, and the recently released Ae Watan Mere Watan. Well, the actress has been tirelessly promoting both of her films and is opening her heart out in all her interviews. In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, the actress opened up about her mother Amrita Singh, and how she has become the grounding factor for both her and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan.

    Sara Ali Khan revealed that while growing up she realized that her mom is not like her friend’s mom and felt bad. The actress quipped that she did not know how to cook and did not know how to drive which made Sara feel bad. But recalling about the day when Amrita strongly questioned her about this, Sara quipped that her mother turned around and asked her, “How many of her friend’s parents know how to act or ride horses? Because I do.” After this Sara joked that she is never saying anything to the heroine of Mard ever again.

    For the unversed, Amrita Singh was paired with Amitabh Bachchan in Mard. Praising her mother Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan added that the actress made sure she was always there for her two kids, kept them grounded, and gave them wings to fly. The Attrangi Re actress added that her mother did this all single-handedly.

    In the same interview, Sara Ali Khan talked about social media trolling and said that she indeed gets affected by the criticism around her work but comments on her personality don’t bother her. The actress also admitted that her ‘entertaining persona’ sometimes goes against her because the audience doesn’t know the flipside of her personality.

    “Because people think I’m funny because people think I’m silly or goofy, they think I can’t be more than that. And I actually am silly and goofy, it comes from an organic space. But then there’s also this flipside.” she said while adding that her family and friends understand both sides of her personality i.e. entertaining and serious and they have made her think that the audience will understand it too but sometimes they end up thinking, “Yeh toh joker hai, how can she get serious?” (She’s a joker)

    As source close to the project tells ETimes, “Suniel plays an integral part in the movie. He is playing a character that is going to be very interesting.” 

    Khushi Kapoor recently made her acting debut with The Archies alongside Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina and others. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Ali Khan is also attached to star with Kajol in Sarzameen.

    Ibrahim Ali Khan is set to make his acting debut with director Kayoze Irani’s Sarzameen. The film will feature Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Now, his sister Sara Ali Khan who had her start in showbiz before him, has shared a piece of advice for her brother.

    In an interview with ETimes, Sara Ali Khan said that she doesn’t talk about work with Ibrahim Ali Khan. However, she would give him advice that she got from her parents. She said, “Follow your heart because there is a truth to that. There will be a lot of noise around you, but you have to stay honest and follow your path because that other person’s path you admire already has his/her own journey.”

    She further stated that while there is competition, there is enough work for everyone. “I feel secure where I am and the audience today is intelligent and directors know exactly what they want. So, I think we all need to have conviction in our own skill set.”

    Ibrahim Ali Khan recently worked as an assistant on the production of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.     Ever since Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari and Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan were first spotted together, the rumours about them dating started doing the rounds. Now that Palak is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, all eyes are on her.     During the interview, Siddharth Kannan happened to ask Palak Tiwari if she got a text from Ibrahim Ali Khan after the release of the trailer of her upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan? The actress clarified that she and Ibrahim see each other only at social gatherings and that they are not in touch with each other on daily basis. Further elaborating on their relationship, Shweta Tiwari’s daughter said, “He’s a friend. I do like bumping into him at social… like wherever we are going… again mutual friends but it’s not like we’re every day (texting) like hello… whatever. But yeah, he’s somebody that I’m fond of.” She also spoke about Ibrahim making his debut soon and said that he is very good and she cannot wait for the world to see that.

    Palak Tiwari on Salman Khan’s rule on set

    Recently, Palak spoke to Siddharth Kannan and revealed the reason behind Salman‘s rule about how women should dress on the sets. She said, “When I was AD-ing with Salman sir on Antim, I don’t think many people know this, Salman Sir had a rule ‘Ki koi bhi ladki mere set pe, neckline should be here, all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls’. So my mom saw me (going to set) in proper shirt, jogger and covered and all. She was like, ‘Where are you going? How are you dressed so well?’ I said I am going to Salman Sir’s set. She was like ‘Wow, very good’.”
