Zach Bryan’s new bride, Samantha Leonard, found a sweet way to honor his late mother, Annette DeAnn Bryan (née Mullen), on the pair’s wedding day.
“Samantha went out of her way to put my mom’s wedding dress lace on her dress and I cried for a good bit. Meant so much sweetheart, thank you,” the country music star, 29, gushed via his Instagram Stories on Monday, January 5, sharing a look at the fabric featuring a delicate trim and floral hemline being placed on his wife’s gown.
“Wish you were here about now gorgeous,” he then captioned a follow-up slide of Annette, showing the garment worn by his mother on her big day. She completed her look with a stunning white veil and a dainty necklace.
Annette died in August 2016, with Zach mourning her loss with a heartfelt post.
“My mom was my best friend, I would call her every morning at 6 am on my way to work, and she would call me every night after my workout and ask, ‘Well how many miles did you run today?’ She knew me better than I knew myself, and better than anyone will ever know me,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “She has kept me out of a lot of trouble and she was always my shelter from the rain. There are plenty of cliches I could say, and a mile long list of reasons I loved her but I will spare the novel.”
The “Pink Skies” hitmaker went on to describe his mother as a “beautiful woman, with a beautiful heart full of kind words and smiles she gladly shared with me,” adding, “Every memory, and every moment is embedded in my soul.”

Zach is enjoying newlywed bliss after sending the rumor mill into overdrive when a video emerged of the musician carrying Leonard, 28, in his arms after what appeared to be a romantic wedding in Spain.
He later confirmed the news on December 31, sharing a black-and-white photo of the couple making their exit from the venue as she gave the first glimpse at her strapless white bridal gown with a feathery hem. The crooner, for his part, wore a tuxedo for the momentous occasion.

He gushed over his new love via Instagram in October 2025, writing, “From bull runs to all the bulls***, today is your birthday and I love you Samantha Marie.”
“To the only woman who can hike six miles in Chanel flats, skydive over the alps and catch a bigger fish than me all in the same day,” he continued. “Hope your day was as graceful as you are.”
