Having worked with her stylist of almost 15 years, Briana Andalore, the 33-year-old “Uncut Gems” star sources coords that may belong on the beach, but qualify as her own personal street style essentials.

For a recent swimwear moment, she casually graced Instagram with enticing behind-the-scenes visuals to promote her new memoir, “Down the Drain,” which was released in October. Fox was sporting an all-black matrix ensemble by Gryphyn featuring a tiny latex bra and the most snug thong bottom that showcased her toned abs and tattoos. She paired the cleavage-baring two-piece with a PVC cropped jacket with extreme cutouts along the arms. She finished things off with smoky, metallic makeup by Julian Stoller and her brown strands styled in damp waves by Erol Karadağ.

    [ad_1]

Models like Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid, Andreja Pejic, and Marquita Pring are known for going all out with their Halloween costumes. For these spooky-season moments, they’ll work with stylists, who usually dress them for the red carpet or street style outings in between shows at Fashion Week. That collaborative process enables them to take the most mundane characters and costumes — like a standard vampire or schoolgirl — to the next level, adding unique twists to personalize their looks.

Most of the time, this party crowd attends multiple Halloween parties in one weekend, offering double or triple the inspiration for DIYing a costume at home. And they use their fashion connections to elevate their costumes, whether they collaborate with a latex designer or borrow intricately crafted accessories to bring their looks to life.

From Martha Hunt’s ’90s pop culture moment as Angelina Jolie’s Lisa from “Girl, Interrupted” to Taylor Hill’s grandpa look, complete with corduroys and an argyle sweater, there are even a lot of outfits here you can put together with pieces you’ve already got in your closet. Taylor Swift fans live for investigations into her wardrobe, as proven by their latest conundrum: did boyfriend Travis Kelce gift her those Nike Air Force 1s? The 33-year-old musician sported a red-and-white pair of the iconic shoes to watch the Chiefs play on Oct. 22, famously planting a kiss on Kelce’s cheek after the game. The photographic evidence, which also pictured teammate Mecole Hardman, Jr. and his girlfriend, Chariah Gordon, naturally made waves as another milestone in the couple’s highly publicized relationship — their first internet smooch! While Swift’s outfit involved a vintage Chiefs sweatshirt from Ellie Mae Studios, a pleated skater skirt, and a friendship bracelet strung with the tight end’s number on it, sneakerheads are going on about her themed kicks, which have reportedly been personalized for team members and their loved ones.

The Nike team told POPSUGAR via email they are unable to comment on whether or not the shoes were a gift, but confirmed that they are customized — we’d just need a screen-penetrating magnifying glass to zoom in on the details. Kelce’s teammate Ross Travis shared an Instagram Story featuring a group of similar custom Nikes, as documented by People, leading Swifties to believe the footwear is a Chiefs “welcome gift.” One X user predicted the exchange the day of the game, and another reiterated that the red Nikes mean she’s officially Kelce’s girlfriend. Meanwhile, sneaker podcaster Matthew Welty made a connection to Swift’s “Delicate” lyrics: “Dark jeans and your Nikes, look at you.” So it looks like Swift and Kelce are truly a match made in heaven — or should we say in Swift’s “Mastermind”?

Chain Bras Are the Fashion Trend You’ll See Everywhere This Holiday Season – POPSUGAR Australia

    [ad_1]

Chainmail was certainly popular in the ’90s and 2000s, with Paris Hilton quite literally owning the dress trend after sporting a memorable silver mesh birthday dress that Kendall Jenner recreated in 2016. But a piece of jewelry that acts as a bra – with nothing underneath – is something else entirely, and it changes the conversation about wearable materials in fashion. In 2021, Bella Hadid stepped out at the Cannes Film Festival, a vision in a Schiaparelli black dress with a gigantic cutout circling her bust. But rather than go bare, the look was completed with a massive brass necklace in the shape of branched lungs to cover her breasts and seemingly present the idea of artfully-constructed hardware as a top.

Two years later, we’re seeing more playful iterations, with simpler designs dripping in crystals and rhinestones. Tyla’s metallic bra on “The Tonight Show” is one such example, teamed with a star-adorned micro-miniskirt. Saweetie’s Hello Kitty bra by Laser Kitten had a DIY aesthetic about it, with dangling cat charms, pastel dice, bubblegum bows, tiny pearls, and diamond strands sewn on haphazardly. And leave it to Kim Kardashian to nearly unveil her nipples in just a few Gucci chains strapped tightly across her chest. The Skims founder and reality TV star shot photos of herself in a campaign for the brand, meaning this fashion trend has now achieved icon status.

While jewelry-as-clothing isn’t something we see every day, the red carpet appearances, street style moments, and Instagram selfies are multiplying in Hollywood. Vanessa Hudgens’s Sheer, Plunging Gown Is the Bachelorette Outfit We’ve Been Waiting For

    [ad_1]

Vanessa Hudgens has officially turned the tables when it comes to dressing for your own bachelorette party. The 34-year-old bride-to-be joined her friends for a night on the town in Aspen wearing a plunging maxi made of sheer panels and crinkled silk. The neckline was finished with a lace trim, catering to the star’s bohemian sense of style. Her gown is the antidote to the glitzy little minidress we may often expect to see brides choose. And with the addition of a thick, floor-length coat and two-tier veil, Hudgens’s look was attention-grabbing, but also dramatic in the name of spooky season — which is known to be her favorite time of year. (Last month, she marked the start of festive Halloween dressing with a post showcasing her matte black nails.)

While Hudgens normally opts for gothic-inspired outfits and a dark color palette in October, she made an exception for her bachelorette party and dressed in bridal white for the entirety of the weekend trip. In a second post, the actress and Caliwater founder shared a video compilation of all her looks, including everything from a “Bride” cowboy hat and sweats teamed with a furry coat and Prada tote bag to cozy matching co-ords that she accessorized with a baseball cap, platform ankle boots, and crossbody bag. Ahead, click through Hudgens’s bachelorette weekend with her best friends and admire her costume changes by the hour, then take a peek back at her timeless, oval-cut engagement ring from fiancé Cole Tucker before her big day.

Kylie Jenner Wears Nothing But a Leather Trench and Heels to Tease Her Fashion Brand

    [ad_1]

Kylie Jenner has just announced her new clothing brand, Khy, wearing nothing but a black leather trench coat and red Ferragamo pumps. The 26-year-old Kylie Cosmetics beauty mogul and reality TV star has been cementing her status in the fashion industry for the past few seasons, forging connections with houses from Jean Paul Gaultier to Mugler, and she’s made the rounds at Paris Couture Week, too. As a multimillionaire, entrepreneur, and tastemaker, she’s more than prepared to step into the spotlight as a designer, following in the footsteps of her sisters Kim Kardashian, who created Skims in 2019, and Khloé Kardashian, who launched Good American in 2016.

Jenner’s Oct. 24 outfit post, captioned “meet khy,” indicates the aesthetic of her label, which appears to be sexy-meets-sophisticated with a dark color palette. The strong shoulders, leather gloves, and knife-sharp boots incorporated into look one, teased on the official Khy page, suggest edgy ’80s undertones. On Jenner, the jacket is unzipped on each side, resulting in skin-revealing, thigh-high slits. Perhaps some of the clothing will be multi-faceted or adjustable, allowing the wearer to tweak each item to their liking — assuming the zippers can also be closed to the hemline. Jenner’s dark hair was left slightly messy in tousled waves, and she opted for rouged cheeks, a berry-toned lip, and jet-black manicure.

While we don’t have official details to share about the Khy fashion line just yet, comb through Jenner’s style evolution to reminisce on her taste and how it’s transformed over time, leading her to her next major industry venture.

Julia Fox, Lori Harvey and More Stars Taking Ripped Jeans to the Extreme – POPSUGAR Australia

    [ad_1]

Deconstructed denim has reached its peak, and celebrities who tend to push the envelope sartorially are first to take the trend to extremes. While this year’s popular jeans styles run the gamut from ultra low-rise and baggy to patchwork, the most eye-catching pair remains one that’s either ripped to shreds, refashioned into what looks like an arts and crafts project, or full of holes.

While this treatment can be traced back to the ’80s during the heavy metal era, ripped jeans were also part of the punk and grunge aesthetics in the ’90s and early aughts. Today, the latest examples are modernized on the runway at Diesel, Brandon Maxwell, Jason Wu, Stella McCartney, Valentino, and more, where designers are working everything from foil and mirrored discs to fringe and 3D florals onto denim. This opens the conversation as to whether rips, patches, and acid wash are actually messy, or simply another decal to admire.

Celebrities such as Julia Fox, Lori Harvey, and Kim Kardashian are testing the waters, with Fox opting for skin-revealing silhouettes and Kardashian utilizing her deconstructed jeans as a bikini cover-up – because why not? These outfits might stop us in our tracks at first glance, but as more of these designs trickle down from the catwalk, it will all boil down to a matter of taste as we decide which iterations are taking it too far.

  • Martha Stewart Is Having a Fashion Renaissance, From Thigh-High Slits to Platforms

Martha Stewart Is Having a Fashion Renaissance, From Thigh-High Slits to Platforms

    [ad_1]

Martha Stewart is a tastemaker in her own right who has refused to abide by trends throughout the years. From her ’90s cottagecore days (for which there is a dedicated Instagram account) to her recent fashion resurgence as a Sports Illustrated cover model and Fashion Week front-row staple, she stays true to her favorite brands, classic accessories, and innate sense of glamour. At 82, Stewart told Vogue that her mantra is “less is more for a lot of women who are getting older.” But we’d argue that she’s long been a pioneer for polished and refined dressing with minimal logos.

Stewart counts Brunello Cucinelli and Dennis Basso suiting, Max Mara dresses, Clergerie platform shoes, and Hermès leather shirts as her wardrobe essentials, telling Interview that she maintains a growing collection in the latter category. “They’re the most wearable, beautiful, best-made clothing,” she said at the spring 2024 runway show, where she debuted a brand-new cashmere jacket from the Parisian house and toted a vintage Birkin from 2001.

Stewart also keeps her old Armani suits in rotation, though she’s also not afraid to try something new. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue stylist and costume designer Paolo Nieddu told POPSUGAR that the entrepreneur was more than willing to test out swimwear from Zimmermann and Saint Laurent on set. “Martha has a fabulous décolletage, and as a former print model, she knows how to wear clothes — not the other way around,” he said after working with her.

From the ombré sequined Jenny Packham gown she wore to celebrate her cover, to the sparkling tweed pantsuit she teamed with gold jewelry and metallic heels for an event in NYC, scroll to admire Stewart’s notable #OOTDs in recent history, some of which were documented from the entryway of her building — Martha Stewart, she’s just like us.

  • Shop the $28 Amazon Corset Behind Hailey Bieber’s Sexy Vampire Costume

Shop the $28 Amazon Corset Behind Hailey Bieber’s Sexy Vampire Costume

    [ad_1]

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

This Halloween, Hailey Bieber is out for blood. On Oct. 18, the Rhode Beauty founder debuted one of the first celebrity costumes we’ve seen this spooky season, and it did not disappoint. Channeling her inner vampire, Bieber’s scantily clad ensemble revolved around a specific red corset top, complete with tiny black bows, a low ruffled neckline, and lacy off-the-shoulder sleeves. She accessorized the sultry look with a fuzzy black miniskirt wrapped tightly around her hips, matching the gothic color palette with red embroidered stockings. The best part? Her corset is still available to shop for $28 on Amazon.

Although we can’t say with absolute certainty whether or not Bieber shops from Amazon herself, with an identical design and reviews going as far back as 2021, all evidence points to “yes.” Verified buyers gave the corset high praise, but some suggested ordering a size up, as the boning has a limited amount of give. The bustier includes stainless steel hooks that fasten in the front, along with lace-up black ribbon in the back to ensure a figure-hugging cinch. Bieber went the extra mile by adding fake blood around her lips, red costume jewelry, and a blood-soaked pearl choker, posing next to a skeleton dressed in a similar red and black fabric.

The fact that Bieber’s corset was so easily found on Amazon proves that celebrities need last minute costumes, too. Accessibility is a huge plus, and just because a costume is affordable doesn’t mean it can’t look good. It all comes down to the details, and in our opinion, Bieber totally nailed them. Read on to shop her sexy corset top, and make sure to order in time for Halloween.

In addition to being an in-demand actress, singer, performer, and designer, Jennifer Lopez is enjoying her role as Intimissmi‘s global ambassador. Announcing the role in a press release in March 2023, the Italian intimates company said they chose to work with Lopez because she embodies women empowerment and “modern sexiness.”

In the accompanying photo shoot, for the Spring 2023 campaign, Lopez modeled the Pretty Flowers Sofia balconette bra in flame scarlet, digital turquoise, and valentine pink. It comes embroidered with ivory blooms across the lightly-padded mesh cups and along the elegant trim. The coordinates include a matching see-through lace panty, though Lopez mixed and matched various other satin-silk pajama pieces in the Chris Colls-lensed photos. The shoot inspiration? A dreamy Italian summer evoked through bold colors that represent Positano.

Lopez also commented on her partnership with Intimissimi in the release, stating: “I love Italy – the people, the fashion, the culture, the food and the storied history. When I discovered Intimissimi, I was immediately drawn to their precious silks, romantic lace, beautiful cuts, flattering fits and intricate designs. I’m proud to be an Intimissimi woman and honored that they view me as someone who emulates their own qualities of confident, lively and strong.”

She wears the brand for personal photo shoots as well — both to tease her upcoming projects and to show off tributes to husband Affleck, such as her “Mrs” nameplate necklace that she styled with a black set back in November of 2022.

Most recently, she debuted a co-designed capsule with the brand titled “This Is Me…Now” as a nod to her upcoming album of the same name. The collection, which includes a black halter cutout bra, lace teddies embellished with chains, and silk camisole sets, represents Lopez’s “evolution,” according to a press release.

  • The Controversial Peplum Trend Is Back With a Vengeance This Fall

The Controversial Peplum Trend Is Back With a Vengeance This Fall

    [ad_1]

If you kept up with style trends in the 2010s, you probably had a peplum top you paired with skinny jeans and ballet flats. (We don’t blame you. We did, too.) From peplum blouses to dresses and skirts, the dramatic silhouette was everywhere. Now, over a decade later, the controversial fashion trend is making a comeback thanks to celebrities like Florence Pugh, Gabrielle Union, Angela Bassett, and Harry Styles, who aren’t afraid to air out the retro ruffles one more time.

Notably, Union delivered a unique take on the trend in a Schiaparelli corset jumpsuit during a night out in Los Angeles on Oct. 13. The olive-green piece, designed by Daniel Roseberry, featured a gold three-button closure at the waist and seashell-inspired pleating along the bust. Union styled the plunging outfit, which flared at the hips, with a gold-and-silver statement choker and square-toe chrome heels.

Like flared jeans, the exaggerated peplum silhouette has elicited varied reactions from fashion lovers worldwide. Those in favor of the peplum trend often praise its ability to accentuate the smallest part of the waist — à la corset tops — and add volume to the hips. Those opposed to the dramatic design most frequently cite the wilted fabric that, when draped haphazardly, can end up looking messy at best and like a wrinkled bedsheet tucked into the waist at worst. Modern takes on the throwback look, though, boast one key difference: structure.

Most recently, designers such as Armani Privé, Viktor & Rolf, Givenchy, Dior, and Prabal Gurung have all showcased peplum silhouettes in runway shows, proving that the trend’s return is more than just a sartorial phenomenon. By using stiffer fabrics and incorporating seasonal trends like sheer fabrics and sequins, these designers and more have managed to manipulate the peplum trend, reforming it into something fresher and more digestible for a 2023 audience.

Though we often associate it with the 2010s, the peplum trend dates as far back as ancient Greece, where people of all genders used the cinched waist and extended hips to emphasize an hourglass silhouette, according to MasterClass. The style gained even more popularity during the Renaissance era, which boasted detailed corset bodices attached to full skirts that extended at the waist. Today, the peplum style is romantic and experimental all at once, pressing the boundaries of what it means to be haute couture.

Considering some of our favorite fashion trends this year have been some of the most unusual — see thong boots and seven-inch platforms — we have hope that the peplum trend, as controversial as it is, will be leaving its mark the second time around.

Ahead, see how celebrities like Union, Anne Hathaway, and Anitta have been putting their own spin on the peplum trend.

  • Sophie Turner Throws Shade at Joe Jonas With Her Friendship Bracelet, and I’m Inspired

Sophie Turner Throws Shade at Joe Jonas With Her Friendship Bracelet, and I’m Inspired

    [ad_1]

As if celebrity breakups aren’t chaotic enough, Sophie Turner has made a pointed statement with the most unexpected fashion accessory amid her impending divorce from Joe Jonas. On Oct. 8, in a now-expired Instagram Story, the “Game of Thrones” actress showed the world her strong allegiance to superstar best friend Taylor Swift with a picture of a friendship bracelet that read “Fearless.” In this case, the word is far from a mere adjective, but also the name of Swift’s 2008 album and the cult-favorite song that discusses the ideal “best first date,” which is the total opposite of Turner’s situation and perhaps a presumptuous tactic to add fuel to an already-blazing fire.

It’s quite the statement to turn the idea of a friendship bracelet on its head.

Friendship bracelets, no longer a thing of the past, have made a comeback, thanks to Swift, with a slight departure from their intended meaning. Initially used as a symbol to honor the time, energy, and love put into a beautiful relationship, Swifties have rocked the nostalgic piece to chronicle moments at Swift’s successful Eras tour, and fans of Beyoncé and the Jonas Brothers have followed suit. Meanwhile, Turner used the accessory to quietly shade her soon-to-be ex, not just on this occasion, but even at a Jonas Brothers concert in August, where she sported a bracelet that read “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” another one of Swift’s signature breakup anthems allegedly about Jonas.

It seems that since the divorce, the “Speak Now” artist and the actress have grown increasingly close, with their friendship having started in 2019, ironically around the time that Jonas and Turner got married. And since news broke of the couple’s split in September, the actor has reportedly been living in Swift’s New York City apartment with her two daughters, according to ET. Swift and Turner have also embarked on many dinner dates in casual ensembles, including Turner’s Jake Shane TikTok sweatshirt and Swift’s Reformation knit dress and boots combination.

While Swift and Turner appear to stay positive when photographed, considering the circumstances, it’s quite the statement to turn the idea of a friendship bracelet on its head, as Turner so candidly did with her post — don’t you think?

Billie Eilish Re-Launches the Fishnet Trend in a Big Way For 2023

    [ad_1]

Fishnet tights are a fashion trend that first emerged with flappers in the 1920s. Later, they were used to achieve the grunge aesthetic in the ’90s. During that iteration, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, and Paris Hilton sported them underneath miniskirts and baggy, low-rise cargo pants to give their outfits a rockstar edge. Today, it’s safe to say Billie Eilish is one of the main faces of the new fishnets trend, styling hers with knee pads, camouflage hot pants, and sheer biker shorts, whether she’s onstage or posing for a photoshoot. For Eilish, 21, the resulting aesthetic is sporty and flirty all at once, with subtle sex appeal thanks to the skin-baring elements. She generally opts for baby tees or oversize jerseys on top.

Other celebrities are getting in on the fun as well. Nicola Peltz Beckham, 28, dressed up for mother-in-law Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week runway show, wearing fishnet tights which she pulled above her low-rise pencil skirt. With the addition of a black bandeau top, the clear focus was on her tights, which added dimension to her sleek and refined basics. Kourtney Kardashian Barker took things in the opposite direction with her new Boohoo campaign — her fishnets were ripped with holes and teamed with knee-high leather biker boots for a tough moto moment. Finally, Emma Chamberlain played with unexpected layering at the Maison Margiela show by slipping fishnets over a crisp white bodysuit, instead of the other way around.

Keep scrolling to see how celebs are working fishnets into their wardrobes this season. Then, explore other bold style statements that fit the same cool, rocker vibe such as undone pants, hip cleavage, and even no pants at all.

The Barbiecore trend is here to stay. While Y2K-inspired trends continue to dominate the fashion landscape, Barbiecore takes the nostalgic obsession one step further. And it’s not just to the hot-pink designs we’ve seen on the Valentino and Miu Miu runway but also, the colorful street-style looks inspired by the quintessential American fashion doll, Barbie. Yes, the star of the historic “Barbie” movie — first brought to life in 1959 by Ruth Handler in a strapless, black-and-white-striped bathing suits — is today most synonymous with a look more akin to Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde.” In other words, pink is her color.

With that pop-culture phenomenon shaping the zeitgeist, Barbie-pink looks remain in the forefront, on and off the red carpet. Cardi B embraced the trend in a head-to-toe Chanel outfit. Lizzo posed in a flirty Valentino skater dress and opera gloves. While piling on lots of pink is key, bold statement accessories such as towering platform heels, retro-shaped glasses, and gloves are not to be overlooked.

The style is more versatile than you, perhaps, ever imagined, ranging from sequin miniskirts to dramatic gowns; from string bikinis to sharp, tailored suiting. While there’s no limit to the style of clothing you choose, the color does have to embrace a vivid, powerful shade of pink — and if you dress monochromatically from head to toe, it makes even more of a visual statement.

Ahead, we’ve compiled some of our favorite celebrity Barbiecore takes to date.

  • The Boyfriend Shirt Is Having a Moment, From Selena Gomez to Kendall Jenner

The Boyfriend Shirt Is Having a Moment, From Selena Gomez to Kendall Jenner

    [ad_1]

Button-downs are a classic wardrobe essential, and probably one of the first items you consider when getting dressed for work, layering under a suit, or even packing for a beach vacation. But lately, the oversize boyfriend shirt has reigned supreme when it comes to cuts, with many celebrities reaching for boxy silhouettes that can be worn open or closed. Of course, their styling tactics run the gamut, but even when the resulting look is sexy and bold, it’s still wearable.

Kendall Jenner wore her pinstripe boyfriend shirt as a loose dress over a pair of hot pants, for example, helping her pull off the no pants trend in a less daring way. Gigi Hadid and Gabrielle Union, meanwhile, exhibited prowess for baring a flash of ab when they wore their shirts unbuttoned at the top and bottom. This is a decidedly more relaxed and casual approach to wearing an oversize button-down, and Hadid and Union make a case for keeping things streamlined in a monochrome color palette. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez stepped out at Paris Fashion Week — where she wore numerous takes on the trend in both white and blue — most notably playing with proportions by leaving her shirt open over a tube top, Versace denim miniskirt, and Stuart Weitzman snakeskin over-the-knee boots.

Why the sudden resurgence of oversize boyfriend shirts? It probably has something to do with their refined elegance and the turn to neutral, tailored separates in an effort to achieve quiet luxury. Ahead, see how everyone from Gomez to Jennifer Lawrence is convincing us to add button-downs three sizes too big to our fall wish list.

  • Ballerina Flats Are the New It-Shoe, According to Meghan Markle and Hailey Bieber

Ballerina Flats Are the New It-Shoe, According to Meghan Markle and Hailey Bieber

    [ad_1]

While there’s no denying the comfort and versatility of a flat, the popularity of the shoe (and the silhouette in which it is iterated), changes season after season. But celebrities like Sofia Richie, Hailey Bieber, and Meghan Markle — what with her strong sartorial influence on fans — are making sure that the ballerina flat sticks around for a while. Also spotted on many spring 2024 runways, including Tibi, where they were teamed with ankle socks in the same monochrome hue; Proenza Schouler, where they came in a sporty leather mesh; and Tory Burch, where they emitted both high octane glamour with gold hardware and effortlessness with a rounded edge, ballerina flats are reigning supreme well into the new year. It’s only natural that the stars, with their stylists at the helm of emerging trends, already have their hands on quality flats. And some of the brands they’re wearing don’t have to break the bank.

While Markle recently showed her support of Chanel’s iconic cap-toe, mixing high-low with a comparably affordable J.Crew contrast-trim cardigan, Claudia Sulewski’s M.Gemi Danza flats are sold for just under $250, and Richie’s velvet Mary-Janes from Le Monde Béryl scream “fall wardrobe essential” for $489. Mansur Gavriel is also known for its ballerina that fits like a glove and starts at $395, while Margaux’s famous Demi is $225. Easier on the wallet are labels like Sam Edelman, with many styles currently on sale for under $100, H&M, which stocks an $18 pair in three shades, and Zara, where most options settle right around the $50 mark.

Ahead, get inspired by the latest celebrities showing how they wear ballerina flats, so you know exactly how you want to rock yours once they’re in your possession, then shop our favorite comfortable flats on the market.
