Former NBA star Chris Bosh is opening up about a recent health scare that saw him wake up covered in blood.

“I woke up covered in my own blood,” Bosh, 41, said in an emotional Instagram video shared on Wednesday, February 25. “It was crazy, it was fast, it was instant, there was no warning … I didn’t have any time to prepare for it.”

While the two-time NBA champion didn’t divulge the exact details of his health scare, he said that he fell to the floor while getting ready for a date with his wife, Adrienne, with whom he shares five children.

“The next thing you know, I was on the ground. I won’t get into specifics, but you can kind of see I’m still recovering,” he continued. “I’m not gonna try to hide that one in case I look different, but it was a scary thing.”

“I’m lucky. I came back,” Bosh said elsewhere in the video. “It was just darkness. It wasn’t anything else. I went to the darkness, I came back. I have no recollection, I have no memory other than coming back here.”

“It made me really have a different outlook on life and how things go, what we do for ourselves, what we do for our family, how we live our lives. No matter what it is, make sure you don’t wait,” he shared. “That’s the thing that I get [from this]. Don’t wait to take action because it could come fast, it could come quick. … I’m lucky to be alive, and I feel great about that, and now I’m thinking about how I live my day-to-day life. That’s really it.”

“Don’t wait,” he advised. “Don’t wait to take action. You might be wanting to get a promotion, you might want to try out for the team, you might want to go on that vacation. It might be so many different things that people want to do, that we want to do, that we never do, so that’s what I get from all of this. Don’t wait for it.”

  • Sarah Palin Feeds Boyfriend Ron Duguay in Hospital Amid His Cancer Battle

    [ad_1]

Former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin was seen caring for her boyfriend, New York Rangers legend Ron Duguay, amid the athlete’s battle with cancer.

In an Instagram video shared by Duguay’s daughter, Shay Thomas, on Tuesday, February 24, Palin, 62, was filmed feeding spoonfuls of food to Duguay, 68, as he rested in a hospital bed. The politician was also tagged in the video by Thomas.

The footage was shared the same day that Thomas and her sister, Amber Stavros, whom Duguay shares with ex-wife Robin Bobo, launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the former ice hockey player’s ongoing cancer treatment.

Palin, who began dating Duguay in 2022, was featured a second time within Thomas’ video, posing alongside her boyfriend as the pair smiled for a selfie. The clip otherwise focused on Duguay’s cancer journey, compiling photos and videos that showed the athlete undergoing varied treatments across multiple hospital visits.

David Livingston/Getty Images Since going public with stage III non-Hodgkin lymphoma in November 2024, Dave Coulier has been candid about his illness, treatment and prognosis before his second diagnosis. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the patient’s lymphatic system, with “white blood cells called lymphocytes [that] grow abnormally and can form growths […]

Page Six reported on Tuesday that Duguay was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer that “started in the colon.” The diagnosis was presented about a year ago, per the outlet.

Us Weekly has reached out to Duguay for comment.

Thomas offered further insight into the family’s recent experiences via the post’s caption. “Update on my dad @ronduguay10. One of the hardest things we’ve learned through this journey is that cancer doesn’t fight fair. Just when you think you’ve found something that’s working, just when hope starts to grow again, it tries to show up somewhere else. It forces you to keep pivoting, keep adjusting treatments, and keep changing cocktails and protocols,” the mom-of-three wrote.

“Cancer wears on you mentally, emotionally, and physically. The highs bring hope, the lows can feel overwhelming. But through all of it, my dad keeps showing up. And more than anything, he keeps leaning on God.”

Thomas, whose GoFundMe target of $50,000 had soared past the halfway point (approximately $28,400) at the time of publication, then detailed the various treatments her father had undertaken in the hope of attacking cancerous cells.

“He is doing everything he possibly can … from living antioxidant water, blood ozone therapy, IV vitamin drips, ivermectin, methylene blue, and countless holistic approaches, while also continuing [Californian hospital] City of Hope’s chemo protocol and undergoing major surgery on both his liver and colon,” she detailed. “He is all in. Every single day. And through it all, his faith has never wavered.”

Palin has mostly kept her romance with Duguay away from the public eye, however the pair have attended public events together in the past, including the “Save America” rally in Anchorage, Alaska, in July 2022. The New York Post also published photos of the pair linking arms while attending a Rangers game in New York City in April 2025.

Palin, who divorced Todd Palin in 2020 after more than three decades of marriage, told the Post in 2022 that her relationship with Duguay was “safe and comfortable.”

While addressing her 2017 defamation lawsuit against The New York Times — which alleged that the NYT incorrectly linked her political committee to a 2011 mass shooting (the lawsuit was dismissed in 2022 and an appeal also found the NYT not liable in 2025) — Palin told the Post that Duguay served as a healthy distraction throughout the ordeal.

“Ron is the first person that I’ve ever even talked to about a lot of this personal stuff. So it’s been helpful and refreshing to have Ron to talk to about not just politics, because he’s got more common sense in his little finger than the collective in D.C., but just about life,” she said before adding that her boyfriend was “really handsome.”

  • Grey’s Anatomy Cast Health Scares Through the Years: Eric Dane, More

    [ad_1]

Grey’s Anatomy fans have tuned in year after year to watch the cast deal with some of the most intense medical emergencies — and, in the process, have seen the show’s stars deal with their own health scares in real life.

In January 2026, fans were reeling from the news that Steven W. Bailey had been diagnosed with Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome (CMS).

“Say, speaking of troubles, it’s the darndest thing, but it turns out I have a rather rare genetic neuromuscular disorder. Weird, right? It’s called Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome, or CMS,” Bailey, who played Joe the bartender on the popular series for several years, announced via X at the time.

“CMS is a genetic disease that disrupts the communication between the brain and the muscle at the ‘nerve/muscle junction’… or whatever doctors call it,” he added.

Bailey is not the only Grey’s cast member who has been open about their health struggles and diagnoses. Keep scrolling to read more on what the cast has endured behind-the-scenes.

During a 2017 visit on The Today Show, Walsh revealed she was diagnosed with a brain tumor two years earlier in 2015.

“I was exhausted,” she explained. “But I’d just wrapped a show, ‘Bad Judge,’ and I was starring in it and executive producing, so it wasn’t unheard of to be totally exhausted. So I thought I just really burned myself out.”

But she didn’t get her energy back, so Walsh consulted with her doctor after she began experiencing memory problems.

“I couldn’t find my words; I couldn’t find my thoughts. It was subtle, then it got pretty apparent pretty quick,” she explained. Ultimately, doctors revealed the lemon-sized tumor from her brain.

“I was very lucky that it was benign, and they got it all out,” she concluded,

While speaking to People in October 2025, Luddington shared she’d been diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder Hashimoto’s disease earlier in the same year.

“It’s still new to me,” Luddington told the publication at the time. “I got the diagnosis at the beginning of summer, so I’m fresh into this journey. I am on Levothyroxine, which is a thyroid medicine, and I can tell you that a lot of things have changed.”

She continued, “I feel like I have so much less inflammation, I was very puffy all the time, not knowing why I was exhausted. I was not working out. I hadn’t seen a workout class in years, and I’m back at Barry’s bootcamp lifting weights. So I feel more myself. I feel like I have more energy for work, for my family.”

Luddington also opened up about her symptoms.

“One thing that I couldn’t understand was I had a lot of brain fog, and now I understand that when your thyroid is sort of all over the place, that’s what that can feel like,” Luddington recalled. “The exhaustion of brain fog. So just literally being able to be present with whoever on set, with my family, is a huge difference.

In November 2025, Pickens Jr. shared with Black Health Matters that he’d been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

“It’s not the kind of news anyone wants to hear, but to be honest, prostate cancer has run through my family,” the actor said. “My father had it. He had a lot of brothers; several of them had it. I would have been surprised if I hadn’t gotten it.”

Luckily, he has proof in his family that the disease can be overcome.

“I’ve got a 90-year-old first cousin, who’s still alive, actually; he had it,” he explained. “His son has it. A couple of his brothers had it. No one, as far as I know, has succumbed to it.”

In January 2026, Bailey shared his own diagnosis of Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome (CMS).

“Say, speaking of troubles, it’s the darndest thing, but it turns out I have a rather rare genetic neuromuscular disorder. Weird, right? It’s called Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome, or CMS,” he announced via X.

“CMS is a genetic disease that disrupts the communication between the brain and the muscle at the ‘nerve/muscle junction’… or whatever doctors call it,” he also explained. “There are billions of these junction dodads in a body, and an increasing number of mine seem to be on the blink. Troublesome, little buggers — right?”

He continued, “The point is: my muscles aren’t clearly receiving all my brain’s orders to do all the swell things muscles are meant to do. It’s a drag. The result being that my hands, arms and legs tire quicker than they should, which makes them weaker than, well … anticipated. Sustained repetitive movements are particularly difficult and can cause my muscles to temporarily tighten and shut down.”

Dane announced he had been diagnosed with ALS in April 2025.

“I have been diagnosed with ALS,” the actor said in a statement to People. “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.”

He also expressed that he planned to return to work on the hit HBO series, Europhia, for the show’s final season.

“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to the set of Euphoria next week,” the statement continued. “I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.”

Dane died at age 53 in February 2026.

ALS stands for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The condition, also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, per the Mayo Clinic. There is no known cure.

Returning to her fondness for pole dancing to help keep her in shape, Serena displayed her impressive strength as she lifted herself on the pole before using just her arms and core muscles to keep her elevated.

Wearing a pair of micro white shorts and a matching crop top, Serena’s sculpted muscles on her legs and abs were clearly visible.

“I am a very good use case of how you can do everything – eat healthy, work out to the point of even playing a professional sport and getting to the finals of Wimbledon and U.S. Opens – and still not be able to lose weight,” she told Women’s Health

“[GLP-1 medication is] not a shortcut. It’s not a copout. This is just another tool to support my health journey.

“I would never take a shortcut to living a healthy life. It’s really about using the tools available to you to support your health. That’s why it’s so important to be transparent with my story.”

Serena previously admitted she felt blindsided by how difficult it was to lose weight postpartum.

“I never was able to get to the weight I needed to be no matter what I did, no matter how much I trained,” she told People. “It was crazy because I’d never been in a place like that in my life where I worked so hard, ate so healthy, and could never get down to where I needed to be at.

Serena said she struggled to lose weight after the birth of her second daughter

“I had never taken shortcuts in my career and always worked really hard. I know what it takes to be the best,” she said. “So it was very frustrating to do all the same things and never be able to change that number on the scale or the way my body looked.”

After starting the GLP-1 medication in 2024, Serena says the results were transformative. “I lost over 31 pounds using my GLP-1, and I was really excited about that weight loss. I feel great. I feel really good and healthy. I feel light physically and light mentally.”

  • Quinton Aaron’s Family Shares Positive Update After His Spinal Stroke

    [ad_1]

Quinton Aaron’s family have shared a positive update on The Blind Side actor after he was hospitalized after suffering a “spinal stroke.”

Quinton, 41, is feeling optimistic amid his recovery and looking forward to watching the Super Bowl this Sunday, the Aaron family said via a statement shared with Us Weekly on Friday, February 6.

“Quinton is in a jovial mood, now laughing and smiling and is communicating to the best of his ability while he continues to recover,” the statement read. “He’s watching TV and getting ready to root for his favorite team this weekend.”

Previously, the Aaron family confirmed on January 29 that Quinton had been admitted to an Atlanta hospital after suffering a “spinal stroke.” Quinton’s legs had stopped functioning as he was walking up stairs in his apartment, and he had collapsed as a result.

The family said at the time, “We acknowledge that you’ve heard about Quinton Aaron’s condition. We appreciate the overwhelming love, support and prayers that Quinton has received over the past few days from his fans, the public and our concerned community.”

In the statement, the family shared details on the status of the actor’s health at the time.

“He is alert, aware and recovering. The Aaron family has a lot to deal with for the betterment of their loved one, but will be sure to keep everyone posted regarding Quinton’s health as we see fit,” it continued.

The family also noted that factual information regarding Quinton’s health will only be delivered by a “blood relative” via the family’s spokesperson and “lifelong friend” Liana Mendoza, urging the public to ignore misinformation from other sources.

News broke on January 25 that Quinton had been hospitalized. Days later, Quinton’s wife, Margarita Aaron, confirmed to TMZ that the actor was on life support but showing signs of improvement.

A GoFundMe page was set up by the Veterans Aids Network — an organization that Quinton has previously worked with. The page aimed to raise money to help support his family as he recovered from his health woes.

“Quinton is one of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever meet,” the GoFundMe page stated. “He shows up for others. He encourages, uplifts and gives freely of himself, often without asking for anything in return. Today, he needs us to show up for him.”

The page added, “Quinton has spent his life inspiring others, reminding us that compassion and humanity still matter in this world. Now, as he faces one of the hardest battles of his life, let’s surround him and his loved ones with that same compassion, strength and care.”

Quinton is best known for his portrayal of former NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher in The Blind Side. Tim McGraw, Lily Collins and Sandra Bullock also starred in the 2009 film.

The actor also suffered a previous health scare in the last 12 months. In March 2025, he was admitted to a hospital with a fever and a bloody cough.

Quinton suspected he was experiencing Type A flu in addition to pneumonia before his release.

  • Style Influencer Dawn Roth Diagnosed With Cancer at 50: ‘Not Localized’

    [ad_1]

Style influencer Dawn Roth has been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer.

“I don’t know what to write, so I’ll just put the facts here. I have cancer,” Roth, 50, wrote via Instagram on Monday, February 2, alongside a hospital selfie. “It’s not localized. It’s already in my colon, lungs and abdomen.”

She continued, “This space has held great things for me, community, friendship, opportunity, creativity, fun. I’m here to humbly ask for one more thing: fight with me, for as long as we can.”

Roth, whose “Dressing Dawn” Instagram account has more than 65,000 followers at the time of publication, received a flurry of supportive messages in the comments section.

“Omg Dawn, I hate to read this,” influencer Alison Gary replied. “We’re here for you, sending love and strength and support ❤️.”

Content creator Jaimmy Koroma, for her part, added, “Sending you so much love Dawn! ❤️ Let us know if we can help in any way!”

Roth was blown away to have received so many heartfelt messages of support.

“I have no words right now to respond to the outpouring of support on my post that I shared,” Roth said in a Tuesday, February 3, video shared via her Instagram Stories. “It’s not at all what I thought I was going to post. I have a whole story of how I ended up going to the ER and then they did a CT [scan] and they found these things that [were] all unexpected.”

According to Roth, she is currently awaiting results from her recent biopsy.

“They did a biopsy of my liver, they did a biopsy of part of my colon [and] they will send it to oncology and assign me a care team,” she explained. “[Then,] I will know what the next steps are, but I just want to say how grateful I am to be held by all of you.”

While awaiting the next steps in her treatment plan, Roth revealed in a subsequent Instagram Stories slide that she is also planning to order a “kicking cancer’s a** wardrobe” of cozy, printed pajamas.

Roth is a plus-size fashion influencer, known online for sharing uploads inspiring women of any size to discover their personal styles.

“Thank you! I can’t close out 2025 without expressing how grateful I am for this community,” she wrote in a December 2025 Instagram post. “It’s never been just the outfits. It’s never been just style. The connections, support, learning [and] growth, it’s EVERYTHING.”

She added at the time, “I know my sharing slowed a bit recently as I figure out the mental health and medical path, but even there the genuine care I’ve gotten here has been so meaningful. Thank you for any and all the time you’ve spent with me in 2025.”

Roth also celebrated her milestone 50th birthday that same year.

“Usually the lead-up to a birthday has me feeling pensive, and half a century feels like quite a milestone,” she said in a January 2025 social media video. “Right now, I’m embracing it because, right now, I am the most resolved version of myself. I am truer to who I am than ever before. I am more grounded, I have more compassion [and] I have a better understanding of what I need and value from others and less fear of asking for it and setting boundaries. I am deliberately choosing my time, space and comfort.”

  • Savannah Guthrie’s mom Nancy believed to have been taken ‘against her will’ following disturbing update

    [ad_1]

Authorities have shared new details surrounding the disappearance of Today anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mother, Nancy Guthrie, who was first reported missing by her family on Sunday, February 1, after she failed to attend her local church service.

She was last seen on the night of January 31 in Tucson, Arizona, where she resides in a $1 million Catalina Foothills home. Pima County sheriff Chris Nanos shared an update on the ongoing situation with the Daily Mail, explaining that Nancy likely left her home “against her will”.

“She did not walk away,” he told the publication. “We believe she was forced to leave that residence. It was against her will.”

Savannah’s 84-year-old mother was reported missing on Sunday

“This was, in our opinion, someone entered her home in the middle of the night and removed her. It could be more than one person, we don’t know that yet,” he continued.

“This is about an 84-year-old woman who is sick, who needs her medications, who, in the middle of the night, was taken from her bedroom. If she is alive, she needs her medication and it’s been well over 24 hours. That in itself could be fatal, and that’s scary.”

The sheriff didn’t rule out an abduction, sharing that her mobility issues would’ve prevented her from leaving of her own accord. “We know she could not walk out of that house. Talking to her doctors, we know she had some physical elements that definitely limited her,” he said.

Authorities believe she was taken “against her will”

“She is very sharp-witted, of good mind, suffers nothing in the form of any kind of dementia or Alzheimer’s – nothing. So we know she would know what was going on around here.”

Despite Nancy’s home being close to the Mexican border, authorities appear to have ruled out the location’s connection to her disappearance. “There’s nothing to indicate cartel or border issues. Nothing like that.” The lights inside Nancy’s home were on when authorities arrived at the scene, and her phone, wallet and car were still there. The door was unlocked, as per the Daily Mail, yet there were signs of forced entry.

Nancy’s neighbor spoke to The Arizona Republic and revealed the extent of the search for the grandmother, which has seen police driving through the streets asking people for access to their security cameras, looking through neighbors’ backyards, and flying a search-and-rescue helicopter over the town.

Another neighbour of Nancy’s, Jeff Lamie, told the publication that her disappearance was unusual for the area. “It’s a very quiet neighborhood, it’s a very safe neighborhood. This is highly unusual, and we are very concerned about her,” he said. Jeff added that there had been a “high response” to the incident, with neighbors rallying into volunteer rescue groups and combing through the surrounding area for clues as to her whereabouts.

Sheriff Nanos previously announced at a press conference on Monday that Nancy’s disappearance was being investigated as a crime, and that authorities were “very concerned” for her well-being. Savannah, who is one of Nancy’s three children, was not at the Today studio on Monday and instead shared a statement on the incident via her coworkers.

“I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and messages of support,” she said. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone, anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s office at 520-351-4900.”

  • Brandy’s brother Ray J shares scary update after life-threatening hospitalization: ‘My health is not OK’

    [ad_1]

Brandy’s younger brother, Ray J, just shared a heartbreaking update about his health. The 45-year-old singer and songwriter updated his fans in a video shared to social media on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Appearing visibly weakened, he delivered a frightening prognosis: “2027 is definitely a wrap for me. That’s what the doctor said.”

The “Sexy Can I” was hospitalized earlier this month in Las Vegas for severe pneumonia which severely damaged his heart.

“My heart’s only beating 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right,” he said in a January 25 Instagram video. “My health is not OK, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me through everything I’ve been in the hospital.” During the separate, more alarming stream on January 27, he went further, claiming doctors told him he had as little as three weeks left to live.

The support and prayers are surely coming from his big sister. While the 46-year-old Moesha actress hasn’t released a formal statement, Ray J revealed that Brandy has been a constant source of strength behind the scenes. In his recent videos, he expressed deep gratitude for his sister, revealing that Brandy has even paid his bills for the rest of the year so he can focus entirely on his medical checkups and recovery.

Ray J’s recent pneumonia diagnosis wasn’t his first. In 2021, the singer was treated for the lung infection during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, he told TMZ: “I thought it was over. I started praying and knew God is good, so I just kept praying.” This time, however, the singer admitted that past lifestyle choices, including “partying too hard,” likely contributed to his current heart condition.

In 1983, the family relocated to Los Angeles where both Ray J and Brandy’s careers blossomed. The two both started making music, with Ray J’s debut album, Everything You Want, gaining traction on the charts.

In 2001, the siblings collaborated on a cover of Phil Collins‘ “Another Day in Paradise.” They’ve also performed together on tour and for the Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business reality show soundtrack.

But recently, Ray J opened up about his strained bond with his big sister. “I love my sister, but I’m an embarrassment to them,” he said during an appearance on the Drop the Lo podcast.

Despite these feelings of distance, the current health crisis seems to have pulled the family back together, with Ray J noting his parents were accompanying him to critical medical appointments this week.

In 2016, Ray J married Princess Love after meeting through the boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. The couple shared their relationship on VH1’s Love & Hop Hop: Hollywood. Two years after marrying, they welcomed their daughter Melody Love. In 2020, Princess gave birth to their son, Epik Ray.

Ray J and Princess are not currently living together, although they are technically still married. In February 2024, she filed for divorce from the singer for the fourth time. In his recent health updates, Ray J emphasized that his primary focus now is ensuring his family is taken care of. “My baby mama gon’ be straight, my kids gon’ be straight… I did my part here,” he told viewers during his January 27 stream.

  • Ali Fedotowsky Shares ‘Unsettling’ Update on Kevin Manno’s Cancer

    [ad_1]

The Bachelorette alum Ali Fedotowsky is sharing an update on husband Kevin Manno’s thyroid cancer.

“He had a follow-up ultrasound recently because only half his thyroid was taken out when he had the cancer removed,” Fedotowsky, 41, responded to a fan during an Instagram Q&A on Friday, January 23. “That ultrasound did find a spot that we need to watch, which is definitely unsettling because ‘a spot that we needed to watch’ is how we found his thyroid cancer the first time.”

Fedotowsky’s update comes one year after she revealed that Manno, 42, had been diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer.

“Thankfully, it’s a very treatable cancer,” Fedotowsky wrote via Instagram in January 2025. “He has 2 malignant spots on his right side, and it appears it is also in one lymph node, but we won’t know for sure until his surgery.”

Fedotowsky also asked her followers to share their own experiences with thyroid cancer diagnoses.

“We are specifically curious about stories related to whether or not you or someone you know had their full thyroid or half of it removed with the cancer only on one side,” the post continued. “If the surgeon gets in there and determines the whole thing has to be removed regardless, we will, of course, move forward with that. But going into the surgery, he has a choice to be aggressive or leave half if possible.”

Fedotowsky concluded, “Thank you all for the love and support you’ve always shown us. We are grateful ❤️.”

The couple also shared a video with more details about Manno’s diagnosis.

“We always try to be very open and honest,” Manno said. “We’re open books with our lives. We want to give you guys a quick update with something that’s happening over here in the Manno family, but I’m not stressing about it. … The prognosis is very good. It looks good. It’s going to be something I can go in [on] February 10 [and have a] surgery. We’re going to knock it out and it’ll be behind us.”

Fedotowsky, who shares kids Molly, 8, and Riley, 6, with Manno, added, “We also met with another oncologist to get a second opinion and learn. The first thing he said to us was, ‘If you have to get cancer, this is the cancer you want to get.’ Because it’s so treatable. He called it a ‘boring cancer.’ That’s good [and] what you want to hear.”

In a March 2025 update following Manno’s surgery, Fedotowsky told fans that her husband had half of his thyroid removed.

“We went in, not knowing if they’d have to take the whole thing or half,” Fedotowsky wrote via Instagram. “Thankfully, it did not metastasize through his lymph nodes, and it really was the best possible scenario. Happy to report that this guy’s thyroid pathology report came back negative! Meaning the cancer is totally gone. After his surgery, they took the thyroid to have it tested to make sure they got all the margins.”

The reality TV personality added, “It’s likely that he will have to go on medication the rest of his life, but it’s kind of a wait-and-see at this point.”

Fedotowsky tied the knot with Manno in 2017, six years after she got engaged to Roberto Martinez during the finale of The Bachelorette in 2010. (The pair subsequently ended their engagement in 2011.)

  • Dolly Parton addresses health concerns on milestone 80th birthday: ‘Just getting started’

    [ad_1]

Dolly Parton shared a positive health update with fans on Monday, revealing that after a year filled with doctor’s visits, she is now “doing fine”. The legendary country singer, who celebrated her milestone 80th birthday on the same day, spoke to People about how she felt entering her ninth decade of life.

“People say, ‘Well, you’re going to be 80 years old.’ Well, so what?” she told the publication. “Look at all I’ve done in 80 years. I feel like I’m just getting started.”

“I know that sounds stupid, but unless my health gives way, which right now I seem to be doing fine,” she continued. Fans shared their concerns for Dolly several times in 2025, including when she canceled her Las Vegas residency in September due to “a few procedures” she had to undergo.

However, the blonde beauty shared that she still had many years left in her, despite her age. “If you allow yourself to get old, you will. I say, ‘I ain’t got time to get old!’ I ain’t got time to dwell on that. That’s not what I’m thinking about,” she said.

Dolly added that she was excited to have achieved so much in her 80 years. “Not that anybody would want to celebrate that, but there is a celebration in the fact that I have done so much in that time and that I’m still doing it,” she shared.

“I don’t know what I’m going to be doing tomorrow. Whatever comes, I’ll give it my best.” The “Jolene” singer revealed in an October update on social media that she was recovering well despite her sister’s social media post, in which Freida Parton asked fans to pray for the musician.

“I’m okay. I’ve got some problems, as I mentioned,” she continued. “Back when my husband Carl was very sick – that was for a long time. And then, when he passed, I didn’t take care of myself. So, I let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care of.” Carl Dean, whom Dolly was married to for almost 60 years, passed away on March 3, 2025, aged 82.

“So anyway, when I got around to it, the doctor said we need to take care of this. We need to take care of that,” she added. “I’m not ready to die yet. I don’t think God is through with me and I ain’t done working.”

The pair were married for almost 60 years

Several of Dolly’s friends and peers in the music industry shared birthday tributes to the Grammy winner on her special day, including country stars Keith Urban and Lainey Wilson. Keith shared a recording of himself singing Dolly’s song “Applejack” at just 10 years old. “You’ve been a massive inspiration to me for a long time, darling,” he said in the video.

“Thank you for everything that you’ve ever done, musically, humanly…the songs you’ve written, the people you’ve helped…the goodness that you’ve brought into the world with your heart and your curiosity and your passion and your insane musical gift.”

Lainey recalled the first time she met Dolly in a compilation video, and explained that the star made her feel “like we had known each other forever”.

  • Piers Morgan Clarifies If Alcohol ‘Was Involved’ in Accident, Hip Surgery

    [ad_1]

Controversial columnist Piers Morgan is setting the record straight on whether alcohol played a role in his recent fall that left him hospitalized with a new hip.

“Not a great morning for our good friend Piers Morgan, who — although I have to say he is recovering well in the hospital, that was the picture he posted on instagram — he has a new hip,” Good Morning Britain‘s Susanna Reid announced live on air on Monday, January 19, shortly after Morgan, 60, called out the crew for not discussing the “big news” that he has been hospitalized after falling at a London restaurant.

“So, um, good luck with your recovery. I think he’s going to be in the hospital for a few days as he recovers,” Reid, 55, continued. “I did offer to turn up with grapes, but he says he has enough to open a vineyard. So I was rebuffed.”

“Didn’t he fall over at a restaurant?” fellow GMB host Kate Garraway asked. “Do we have evidence if vineyard production was involved in this falling? Was he partaking in a glass or two?”

While Reid replied that she was “not sure how much of the vineyard had been imbibed” before Morgan fell, the Piers Morgan Uncensored host confirmed via his Instagram Stories later on Monday morning that he was sober when he fell.

“To clarify, ZERO alcohol was involved in the incident,” Piers wrote over a clip of the show, adding a crying laughing emoji.

Morgan revealed he’s currently in the hospital on Sunday, January 18, sharing a selfie from his bed and providing a brief and at times comical timeline of events that led to a fractured leg and hip surgery.

In the photo, Morgan flashed a thumbs-up to the camera, revealing he has an IV and is receiving oxygen. The internet personality ended his update with a slight jab at President Donald Trump.

“9. I blame Donald Trump,” Morgan joked.

On Instagram, Morgan also shared a photo of the X-ray showing exactly where his femur was fractured. The commentator circled the break, which appeared to be located close to the acetabulum, where the femur and the hip connect.

  • John Mellencamp breaks silence on famous daughter’s cancer battle with painful update

    [ad_1]

John Mellencamp shared a painful update about his daughter Teddi‘s health on Wednesday, just months after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed that her cancer was “gone”. The iconic rocker shared on The Joe Rogan Experience that Teddi was “really sick” amid her stage four cancer battle, which began in 2022 when she was first diagnosed with melanoma.

“It’s not [expletive] fun,” John said. “She’s got cancer in the brain, and she’s suffering right now.” Teddi revealed in April 2025 that her cancer had reached stage four, after being found in her lungs and brain.

John revealed that Teddi was “suffering” amid her cancer battle

She underwent surgery to remove several brain tumors in February 2025 and documented her radiation therapy journey. In October of that year, the mother of three shared on her podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, that she had tentatively been declared cancer-free by doctors.

“Just to give a little life update to you guys, I had my immunotherapy yesterday, and they did my scans, and at this point, there is no detectable cancer,” she said. “I still need to be on immunotherapy for another year, and I’m not considered in remission or anything like that.”

“When they told me, I was in such shock, I was numb. So I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy, so I’m still fighting because you have to be,” Teddi continued.

“The way [the doctors] said it works, it’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered…in remission. So, but that was huge news yesterday…All the tumors continued to shrink and everything. It’s been good. It’s a good day.”

The 44-year-old previously revealed that despite their rocky relationship in the past, John had been by her side throughout her cancer battle. “He has been beyond. The things that I wouldn’t be capable of doing without my dad – not only for financial reasons,” she said on The Jamie Kern Lima Podcast in July 2025.

She added that he “stepped in”, “helped me have a nurse”, and called “every single day” to check in. She reiterated how important her father had been throughout her recovery in a touching tribute to the “Jack & Diane” singer on Instagram in October.

“It’s been 10 months since my brain surgery, and I am so grateful to @johnmellencamp for continuously being there for me and my family the entire time,” she wrote, alongside a photo of John with his granddaughters, Slate and Dove.

“Although apparently now that I’m no evidence of disease I can take photos without myself in it so I guess we’re all healing,” she quipped. “Love you so much, Cougs. Thank you for everything.”

Teddi is the second of John’s five children

Teddi shares her kids, Slate, 12, Cruz, 11, and Dove, five, with her ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave. The couple separated in November after 13 years of marriage, and are in the process of a divorce. As for John, the 74-year-old is a father of five. He welcomed Michelle, 55, with his first wife and high school sweetheart, Priscilla Esterline, although the pair split in 1981.

John married his second wife, Victoria Granucci, in the same year, and welcomed Teddi, 44, and her sister, Justice, 40. After their divorce in 1989, the star had his son, Hud, now 31, with his third wife, Elaine Irwin. Together, the duo also welcomed their son Speck in 1995 before divorcing in 2011.

    [ad_1]

Bristol Palin has been battling her mysterious facial paralysis for an entire year.

“If anyone’s wondering, today’s Day 323 of my face being paralyzed,” Palin, 35, said in video footage taken last month that she posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, January 3. “Not looking great.”

She continued, “This is what it looks like. There’s not a whole lot of movement.”

According to Palin, she plans to “eventually” get Botox in one of her eyes as a result.

Palin disclosed in January 2025 that half of her face was paralyzed.

“I woke up nine days ago with a weird little sensation in my face,” she said in a social media video at the time. “My mouth was pulling this way and it just felt a little off. So, I went and looked in the mirror. I’m like, ‘Wow, this is looking a little weird.’”

A few hours later, the Teen Mom alum noticed the left side of her face was “numb and just paralyzed.”

“Couldn’t really blink my eye, definitely had no movement on the side of my face,” she recalled. “So crazy. [I] went to the doctor. They ran tests, they did a CT scan [and] they put me on steroids, put me on other medications. Nothing came back with all the results. They think it’s just a case of Bell’s palsy maybe brought on by stress or lack of sleep.”

She added at the time, “I’m not really sure. There’s nothing that I was super stressed out about, but I think it was brought on by stress.”

Also if you know anyone that has any of these symptoms, I would highly suggest going more of the Eastern medicine [route], as well. • Barry Manilow Shares Hospital Bed Selfie and Update After Cancer Diagnosis

    [ad_1]

Barry Manilow has offered an update on his health after being diagnosed with lung cancer.

The Grammy Award winner, 82, shared a photo of himself smiling as he lay in a hospital bed on Friday, January 2. Alongside the photo, Manilow assured his fans on Friday that he was feeling “better today.”

Manilow was showered with positive messages and well-wishes from his Instagram followers. Melanie Taylor, Manilow’s longtime backup singer, beamed “that’s my boss y’all” in the comments.

“He’s making it through the rain! Love you B,” Taylor went on.

Guns N’ Roses and The Cult alum Matt Sorum added, “Heal up Barry, much love.”

“Sending lots of love, Barry,” drag icon Coco Peru chimed in.

On December 22, Manilow went public with his lung cancer diagnosis and confirmed he would soon undergo surgery.

“As many of you know, I recently went through six weeks of bronchitis followed by a relapse of another five weeks. Even though I was over the bronchitis and back on stage at the Westgate Las Vegas, my wonderful doctor ordered an MRI just to make sure that everything was OK,” he shared via Instagram. “The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed. It’s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early. That’s the good news.”

The “Can’t Smile Without You” singer explained that he needed to finish his annual Christmas concerts in December before scheduling a date to “have the spot removed.”

“The doctors do not believe it has spread, and I’m taking tests to confirm their diagnosis. So, that’s it. No chemo. No radiation. Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns,” he wrote.

The singer-songwriter announced that he needed “a month to recover” post-op, so he was cancelling scheduled concerts in January. (Manilow had been set to headline gigs in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Ohio this month.)

“I’m very sorry that you have to change your plans,” he wrote to fans. “Just like you, we were all looking forward to the January shows and hate having to move everything around.”

Looking ahead, Manilow said he intends to return to the stage for his Valentine’s Day weekend concerts at Westgate Las Vegas on February 12-14.

“Something tells me that February weekend is going to be one big party!” Manilow concluded. “I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. And remember, if you have even the slightest symptom … get tested! I’ll see you at the Westgate Las Vegas for Valentine’s!”

Manilow has been open about his smoking habit over the years. He told The Evening Standard in 2012 that he’d “smoked for 30 years,” having originally started when he was only “9 years old.”

“Then I stopped about 15, 20 years ago,” he clarified at the time. “Then I just started in Las Vegas and the band and I went down to a little club and somebody offered me a cigarette. And I was back. Within a week I was back. Not on a pack a day, cause when I was really smoking I was on three packs a day — non filters. Oh yeah. I was a great smoker.”

More recently, Manilow switched to vaping. Prior to his recent lung cancer diagnosis, Manilow battled bronchial pneumonia, an oral tumor and was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma — a form of throat cancer — in 2020. (Manilow underwent surgery and vocal therapy after his 2020 throat cancer diagnosis and eventually made a full recovery.)

In 2019, Manilow admitted to the Daily Mirror that he was willing to accept the consequences after a lifetime of smoking.

“I’m fine, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’m very old, I should not be able to do this,” he said. “You saw me going up those stairs on stage — there’s 14 steps up and 14 down, you would think I should be in a wheelchair or something.”

Manilow is being supported throughout his lung cancer recovery by his husband, Garry Kief, whom he married in 2014 after more than 35 years together.

  • Jeremy Clarkson, 65, shares little-known side effect of ‘astonishing’ weight loss drugs

    [ad_1]

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that the increasingly popular weight loss drug Mounjaro has helped him to lose three stone, but also shared some more surprising side-effects of the jab that are much less mentioned.

In an interview with The Sun, he gave his fans an insight into the other impacts that the medication has had on him, which included not being quite so “quick-witted” and being “grumpier” and a diminished libido, though he confessed that he did not face some of the more common side effects such as constipation.

Jeremy Clarkson presents the Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm

He told the publication: “I find myself doing Hot Seat [Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?], thinking: ‘Oh [expletive], I should have said that, but too late now’. But who’s to say I wouldn’t have thought that when I wasn’t on [Mounjaro]?

“Constipation? No, I don’t have that. Diminished libido? I’m 65, it’s hard to know what’s causing that. I’ll ask [my wife] Lisa when I get back home.”

Recommended videoYou may also likeWATCH: Jeremy Clarkson shows off beautiful unseen corners of Diddly Squat Farm

He also explained that he had lost weight over the course of six months thanks to the medication, though it has slowed down at the moment.

The Clarkson’s Farm star added: “I’m nearer to [David] Gandy now than I was a year ago, in the same way that tectonic activity means that South America is moving closer to Australia – not by much. But I can go much further, I can take the dogs out for longer now, so it keeps her happy. I’m much healthier.”

On another lesser-known side-effect, the 65-year-old shared that his feet have shrunk: “The shoes I was wearing last year are falling off me as I’m walking around. I think I might be the first person in the world to lose weight on my feet.”

What is Mounjaro and what are the side effects?

The once-a-week weight loss jab has been mentioned everywhere in the last year, drawing attention thanks to its promise of appetite suppression and weight reduction. However, as with any medication, it is crucial to understand the full picture.

Mounjaro is the brand name for tizepatide, a drug that mimics two naturally occurring hormones in the body. Dr Angela Kwong, a GP with a special interest in obesity management, spoke to HELLO!, explaining to us that: “Mounjaro is approved in Australia for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, weight management in adults with obesity, or those with weight-related health conditions, and most recently, obstructive sleep apnoea in adults with obesity.”

Weight loss medications are being used more and more

Leading pharmacist Jason Murphy told us: “The active ingredient, tirzepatide, targets both GLP-1 and GIP receptors. That dual mechanism makes Mounjaro different from many other weight loss injections and helps deliver stronger appetite control and more effective weight loss results when used alongside diet and exercise.”

As for the side effects, Dr Kwong explained to us that: “The most common side effects are gastrointestinal, nausea, vomiting, constipation, bloating, diarrhoea, and a reduced appetite. These tend to be mild and improve over time as your body adjusts to the medication.” The adjustment period for side effects varies between individuals, but subsides once your body gets used to the medication.

I was like, ‘I want to go skydiving.’ And my friends were like, ‘Yeah, no shot.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I can’t skydive.’”

That moment inspired him to turn his life around by firstly giving up bread during lent, which is a Christian religious observance that lasts 40 days. He shared: “I lost 30 lbs. just through that.” He further explained that his weight loss success was “not an overnight thing.” Christopher continued to regularly incorporate strength training, hiking, and walking into his fitness routine.

Despite Christopher’s success, he’s not done yet. He expressed: “It took a lot of trial and error, and even still to this day … when you’re saying, ‘oh, before and after photos’… I don’t feel like I’m an ‘after’ yet. I don’t feel like I’m at the point.”

His father Arnold Schwarzenegger applauded Christopher’s continued dedication and discipline when it comes to his health.

Arnold expressed: “I could never go and say to him, ‘you’re overweight.’ We just kept introducing healthy foods. We introduced him always to the gym and all of that kind of stuff. And then, out of nowhere, he decided that he wanted to be lean. And now he is. So that is of course fantastic, the self-discipline and the self-motivation. I always felt one day it will have to come from him—and it did,” per The Sunday Times.

Christopher has put the work in and we look forward to cheering him on as he keeps getting closer to his personal weight loss goal.

  • Emma Heming Shares Holiday Reality Amid Bruce Willis’ Dementia

    [ad_1]

Emma Heming Willis is sharing an insight into what holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas now look like as her husband Bruce Willis continues to grapple with dementia.

Speaking to People in an article published on  Thursday, November 27, Heming Willis, 47, put a positive spin on how she and her family spend the holidays following the Die Hard star’s diagnosis.

“Bruce loved Christmas and we love celebrating it with him. It just looks different, so we’ve kind of adapted to that,” she told the outlet at the End Well 2025 conference in Los Angeles, which took place last week.

The model added, “You have to learn and adapt and make new memories, bring in the same traditions that you had before.”

She continued, “Life goes on. It just goes on. Dementia is hard, but there is still joy in it. I think it’s important that we don’t paint such a negative picture around dementia. We are still laughing. There is still joy. It just looks different.”

Emma Heming Willis has been open about the ups and downs of supporting her husband, Bruce Willis, on his health journey following his diagnosis with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. “This was the summer of self-discovery — finding new hobbies, going out of my comfort zone and staying active,” Heming Willis wrote via Instagram in August […]

Bruce’s family revealed he was first diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder in March 2022. The following year, they announced his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, a progressive brain disease that impacts communication, behavior and mobility.

Last week, Bruce’s daughter Rumer, 37, shared an update on her dad’s health via her Instagram. (Bruce shares Rumer with ex-wife Demi Moore, along with daughters Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31. Bruce and Emma also share daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.)

A fan had asked Rumer how her dad was doing via an Instagram Q&A, prompting her response.

“People always ask me this question and I think it’s kind of a hard one to answer because the truth is that anybody with FTD is not doing great,” Rumer replied. “But he’s doing OK in terms of somebody who’s dealing with frontotemporal dementia, you know what I mean?”

“The answer that I would give is I’m so happy and grateful that I still get to go and hug him,” she added. “I’m so grateful that when I go over there, and I give him a hug, whether he recognizes me or not, that he can feel the love I’ve given him and I can feel it back from him. That I still see a spark of him, and he can feel the love that I’m giving.”

Heming Willis previously shared that Bruce had been moved to a second home with a round-the-clock care team as his health condition advanced.

“It was one of the hardest decisions that I’ve had to make so far,” Heming Willis revealed during  an ABC special titled Emma and Bruce Willis: The Unexpected Journey – A Diane Sawyer Special, which aired in August.

She added, “But I knew, first and foremost, Bruce would want that for our daughters. You know, he would want them to be in a home that was more tailored to their needs, not his needs.”

In her memoir, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path, which was released in September, Heming Willis shared how the second home had helped.

“One benefit to getting help, whether you bring it into your home or have your person move to a community-based setting, is the ability to get back to your original role in your person’s life,” Heming Willis wrote.

Heming Willis admitted it “took me some time to see it that way and reframe it rather than sitting in the guilt,” adding that she can now “truly enjoy our fleeting time together, and there’s nothing I could ever do to repay our care team for that.”

She added that she is “forever grateful that I get to enjoy Bruce again as his wife and that our kids have their mom back.”

  • Katherine Schwarzenegger Commends Tatiana Schlossberg’s Terminal Cancer Essay

    [ad_1]

Katherine Schwarzenegger publicly supported her cousin Tatiana Schlossberg after she revealed her terminal cancer diagnosis.

Schwarzenegger, 35, took to Instagram on Sunday, November 23, to share several screenshots of the essay Schlossberg penned for The New Yorker which was published one day prior and detailed her battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

“This is a profound piece written by my extraordinary cousin, Tatiana. It’s been shared by many and should be read by all. I have only tears and anger reading that this is her reality. She has lived this experience with so much grace and I am in awe of her as a human, mother, wife, daughter, writer and fighter,” Schwarzenegger wrote. “I am and continue to be grateful for all the doctors and nurses helping her and encourage you to read her words about how the state of the country, the cuts and uncertainty, impacts and terrifies those in medicine and receiving treatment like Tatiana has been over the past year and a half, and continues to receive. Praying for and loving her and her family.”

The post comes after Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver, publicly supported Schlossberg via her own Instagram tribute.

Shriver, who is a niece of the late U.S. president John F. This piece is about what she has been going through for the last year and a half. It’s an ode to all the doctors and nurses who toil on the frontlines of humanity. It’s so many things, but best to read it yourself, and be blown away by one woman’s life story.”

Shriver continued, “Let it be a reminder to be grateful for the life you are living today, right now, this very minute.”

In Schlossberg’s essay, she noted that her doctor had noticed an imbalance in her white blood cell count, however initially put it down to labor and delivery complications. Further investigation later determined that she in fact has “a rare mutation called Inversion 3.”

  • David Cameron Goes Public With Prostate Cancer Diagnosis

    [ad_1]

Former U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

During an interview with The Times, published on Sunday, November 23, Cameron, 59, revealed details into the diagnosis which was presented after testing prompted by his wife, Samantha Cameron, earlier this year.

He told the outlet, “You always hope for the best. You have a high PSA score — that’s probably nothing. You have an MRI scan with a few black marks on it. You think, ‘Ah, that’s probably OK.’ But when the biopsy comes back, and it says you have got prostate cancer … you always dread hearing those words. Literally as they’re coming out of the doctor’s mouth, you’re thinking, ‘Oh, no, he’s going to say it. He’s going to say it. Oh God, he said it.’” (A PSA test involves taking a blood sample to screen for prostate cancer, according to Mayo Clinic.)

David, who served as Prime Minister from 2010 to 2016, also noted that he has received focal therapy to treat the cancer. Cleveland Clinic details this localized therapy as a “type of treatment that uses various types of energy (like heat or cold) to destroy cancer cells.”

Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate. “During The King’s recent hospital procedure […]

He told the outlet that his decision to go public with the diagnosis was deeply considered. “I want to, as it were, come out. I want to add my name to the long list of people calling for a targeted screening [program],” David explained. “I don’t particularly like discussing my personal intimate health issues, but I feel I ought to. Let’s be honest. Men are not very good at talking about their health. We tend to put things off.”

David also noted, “I’ve got a platform. This is something we’ve really got to think about, talk about, and if necessary, act on.”

David and Samantha, 54, have welcomed four children together. Their firstborn son, Ivan, suffered from Ohtahara syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy that occurs in infants, according to the Child Neurology Foundation, and died at the age of 6.

The couple are also parents to daughter Nancy, born in 2004, son Arthur, born in 2006, and daughter Florence, born in 2010.

In October 2024, David spoke candidly about the death of Ivan during an interview with Sky News. “Bringing up children is hard enough but if you have a child who is having seizures every day, is having to be fed through a tube and needs to be cared for all night as well as all day, who’s going in and out of hospital,” he told the outlet at the time. “I can still remember the chaos… you’re in hospital, then you’re back home, then you’re back again. I had just become an MP [when Ivan was born]. I remember turning up for debates in the House of Commons completely exhausted because I’ve been in St Mary’s Paddington [hospital] all night.”

He then reflected on the light his family managed to find while navigating his late son’s illness. “I remember this great blessing of having your first child. In spite of all the difficulties he had with the seizures and cerebral palsy and everything – you still remember this beautiful, smiling boy that you would rest on your lap and look after and love,” he told the outlet. “The extraordinary thing about grief is to start with, there’s nothing but black clouds. But after a while, happy memories do break through.”

  • Tatiana Schlossberg Calls Out Cousin RFK Jr While Announcing Her Cancer

    [ad_1]

Tatiana Schlossberg condemned her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for his vaccine skepticism while announcing her terminal cancer diagnosis.

The environmental reporter, 35, shared the heartbreaking news in a New Yorker essay on Saturday, November 22, that she’d been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and had been given one year to live by her doctors.

Schlossberg was initially diagnosed after giving birth to her daughter — whose name she has kept private — in May 2024. (Schlossberg and her husband, George Moran, also share a son, Edwin, 3.) She spent several weeks in New York City’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital to undergo a bone marrow transplant and later received at-home chemotherapy treatments.

Schlossberg explained in her essay that her diagnosis coincided with her cousin RFK Jr., 71, suspending his independent presidential bid and endorsing Donald Trump in 2024. The vaccine skeptic eventually accepted a position in the Trump administration as the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

As Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s turbulent year continues, his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, has stayed quiet. Kennedy, 70, dropped out of the presidential race in late August, choosing to back former President Donald Trump. A few weeks later, news broke of a personal relationship between him and New York Magazine political reporter Olivia Nuzzi. A […]

“In August, 2024, he suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump, who said that he was going to ‘let Bobby go wild’ on health,” Schlossberg wrote in the New Yorker. “My mother wrote a letter to the Senate, to try and stop his confirmation; my brother had been speaking out against his lies for months. I watched from my hospital bed as Bobby, in the face of logic and common sense, was confirmed for the position, despite never having worked in medicine, public health, or the government.”

The journalist recalled feeling like the entire health scare system was “strained [and] shaky” at the exact moment she was reliant on round-the-clock care.

Schlossberg reflected on the additional stress of her husband, George, working as a doctor at Columbia University. (The Trump administration withdrew $400 million in grants to Columbia University in March 2025 over complaints about its response to pro-Palestinian protests on campus. A deal was later reached to restore some of the funding.)

“Columbia was one of the Trump Administration’s first targets in its crusade against alleged antisemitism on campuses; in May, the university laid off a hundred and eighty researchers after federal-funding cuts,” she wrote. “If George changed jobs, we didn’t know if we’d be able to get insurance, now that I had a preëxisting condition. Bobby is a known skeptic of vaccines, and I was especially concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get mine again, leaving me to spend the rest of my life immunocompromised, along with millions of cancer survivors, small children, and the elderly.”

Schlossberg also called out her relative for his controversial remarks on the “Lex Fridman Podcast” in 2023 that “there’s no vaccine that is safe and effective.” (Kennedy later downplayed those comments by insisting he’s “pro safety” rather than “anti-vaccine.”)

“Bobby probably doesn’t remember the millions of people who were paralyzed or killed by polio before the vaccine was available,” she added. “My dad, who grew up in New York City in the 1940s and ‘50s, does remember. Recently, I asked him what it was like when he got the vaccine. He said that it felt like freedom.”

Elsewhere in her poignant New Yorker essay, Schlossberg acknowledged her utter shock at being diagnosed with cancer at nine months pregnant.

“I did not — could not — believe that they were talking about me. I had swum a mile in the pool the day before, nine months pregnant. I wasn’t sick. I didn’t feel sick. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew,” Tatiana wrote in The New Yorker. “I had a son whom I loved more than anything and a newborn I needed to take care of.”

Schlossberg is far from the first member of the Kennedy family to come out against RFK Jr. Five Kennedy family members— Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Courtney Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Chris Kennedy and Rory Kennedy — released a joint statement denouncing their brother when he endorsed Trump in August 2024.

“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise and national pride,” they said.

Their letter continued “Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.”

During an interview on CNN, Robert argued that political differences within his family were no different to those faced by millions of Americans.

“I have a big family,” he said. “I don’t know anyone in America who’s got a family who agrees with them on everything.”

Following Robert’s nomination to the HHS department in early 2025, Tatiana’s mother Caroline Kennedy criticized the nomination because her cousin lacked “any relevant, government, financial, management or medical experience.”

“His views on vaccines are dangerous and wilfully misinformed,” Caroline added.

Tatiana’s younger brother, Jack Schlossberg, even trolled Robert’s wife, Cheryl Hines, in July 2025.

“I have never met Cheryl Hines, but if I did, I’d tell her she looks super dehydrated,” Schlossberg, 32, quipped via X on July 23.

Earlier this month, Jack announced plans to run for Congress in New York’s 12th congressional district in the 2026 midterm elections.

“I’m not running because I have all the answers to our problems. I’m running because the people of New York 12 do. I want to listen to your struggles, hear your stories, amplify your voice, go to Washington and execute on your behalf,” he wrote via Instagram.

Jack continued, “There is nowhere I’d rather be than in the arena fighting for my hometown. Over the next eight months, during the course of this campaign, I hope to meet as many of you as I can. If you see me on the street, please say hello. If I knock on your door, I hope we can have a conversation. Because politics should be personal.”
