The Latest Update On Blueface’s Prison Sentence
TMZ obtained the image of Blueface, taken on Thursday, September 5. The outlet confirmed that the photo came after transferring the rapper to North Kern State prison in California.
In the photo, Blue sports a low cut and an orange jumpsuit, missing his usual broccoli haircut.
TMZ reported that Blue joined the general population at his facility, where he’ll have job and class options to help him prepare for life after his release.
The ‘Thotiana’ musician can also explore religious services, self-help groups, and substance abuse programs.
Here’s What The Rapper Said About Life Behind Bars
TSR previously reported that Blueface surrendered himself in January. He was then sentenced to four years on August 9 for a probation violation that was linked to a 2021 assault.
On August 19, Blue spoke with Gina Views on the ‘Effective Immediately’ episode. The phone call marked the first time he spoke out while serving his sentence.
During the conversation, Blueface told Gina he received a year’s credit on his sentence, reducing his sentence to three years. He also mentioned that he will only need to serve 33 percent of that time.
As far as how he was doing behind bars, the 27-year-old musician said he’s “chilling” and doing well.
“I’m in my environment, you know imma always soak up and adapt to it, it ain’t really nothing. It’s like a little break from responsibility, honestly,” he explained.
Blue also mentioned that he’s been watching several news and talk shows like ‘Sherri’ and ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’
Furthermore, he gave an update about his weight, noting that his appearance has changed over the past few months.
“I’m like 180 pounds right now; I’ve never been 180 before. I’m getting sized up; I’m about to bounce out looking like a Dalmatian,” Blueface joked.
Details On Chrisean Rock & The Status Of Her Relationship With Blueface
While speaking with Gina, Blue updated her on his relationship with Chrisean Rock.
Blue revealed that he and Chrisean “stay on three-way” and that she’s doing good while serving her own sentence.
Chrisean is currently behind bars after authorities took her into custody on an Oklahoma felony fugitive warrant related to charges from 2022.
TSR reports that authorities moved Chrisean to Oklahoma, where her mugshot quickly went viral on social media. The reality star and rapper currently faces charges in the sooner state for “distribution of a controlled substance, possession with intent, and possession of CDS without a tax stamp,” as confirmed by The Shade Room’s review of arrest records.
XXL recently reported that Rock could be looking at up to eight years in prison for the charges in Oklahoma.
