Aurora Culpo didn’t appreciate Bethenny Frankel taking it upon herself to publicly confirm her split from Paul Bernon.

Days after the 53-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum revealed news of the breakup on her podcast, Aurora, 35, took to her own podcast to shade Bethenny for sharing the story as she revealed that Paul, 45, dumped her just one day after sister Olivia Culpo, 32, suggested he was her “flavor of the month.”

“Bethenny comes out on her podcast saying, ‘My actions cost me my relationship’ and announces that her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend have broken up,” Aurora said on the July 17 episode of Barely Filtered, via Us Weekly. “PSA guys: It’s not a good look to announce the breakup of your ex-boyfriend with his new girlfriend. It’s not your story to tell, but she did.”

As RHONY fans may recall, Bethenny began dating Paul in 2018 and split earlier this year after a 2021 engagement.

Months after Bethenny and Paul called it quits, Paul reached out to Aurora on social media about doing a dating podcast, and they immediately “hit it off” and shared their feelings for one another “right off the bat.” From there, the couple decided to do the podcast and move in together before Paul suddenly broke up with Aurora on the Fourth of July following Olivia’s diss.

“He was not the flavor of the month. He was the flavor of two months,” Aurora clarified. “I would have preferred it to go longer, but unfortunately he dumped me. The next day, he called me and said ‘It’s not working.’ There were things, like, he doesn’t want any more kids [and] I probably do want more kids.”

“Our communication style was so different. I’m not someone who can give space when someone feels hurt. Like, I need to talk about things right away. … We’re not compatible and I would have known that had I let the relationship move at a logical pace, but that’s not how I operate,” she added.

Continuing on about her drama with Bethenny, Aurora, who shares two kids with her ex-husband, Michael Bortone, 50, who she split from in September 2023, said she had no regrets about gushing over her past romance with Paul, which Bethenny was openly critical of.

“Am I sorry that my boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend listened to my podcast episodes from weeks ago where I was gloating about being happy with this guy and in a new relationship? I can’t be sorry for that,” she stated. “Am I sorry that she felt bad and it hurt her feelings? Sure. I never want to make anyone feel bad.”

According to Aurora, who “never thought” the former reality star would be listening to her podcast, found it “cool” that Paul had dated Bethenny.

“I found out because I, obviously, looked at his Instagram and there were all photos of her, and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool,’” she recalled. “When I went to Fairfield University, I actually remember one time passing out her Skinnygirl margarita at a Whole Foods and I [thought that] she’s such a hustler. … I always really liked her.”

During another segment of Barely Filtered, Aurora admitted her and Paul’s romance was “too much too soon.”

“During the week before my sister’s wedding, I was having feelings like, ‘This relationship probably isn’t for me. He doesn’t want to have kids.’ I didn’t want that door to be closed,” Aurora shared, via Us Weekly.

Although Aurora felt “overwhelmed” ahead of Olivia and Christian McCaffrey‘s wedding, she still invited Bernon to Rhode Island, where they were photographed on a boat ride together. However, they didn’t attend the nuptials together since their relationship “was new.”

“She just didn’t know him yet and also [Paul] didn’t want to come,” Aurora said. “We were joking and doing our banter thing and she said he was [my] flavor of the month. I said, ‘Don’t say that. That’s not fair [and] he’s gonna listen to that.’ She’s like, ‘That has nothing to do with him and everything to do with you.’ She was joking and I asked my producers if we could cut it.”

Reality star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel has shared some heartbreaking news. On April 20, Frankel shared several photos of herself with her mom Bernadette Birk, announcing her tragic passing.

“My mother has died of lung cancer,” Frankel shared in her statement. “She was complex, in pain, isolated and had demons.”

But despite her hardships, Frankel said Birk was “the most stunning woman you have ever seen, who left her abusive home as quickly as I ran from mine. I was born on her [birthday].”

Frankel called her mom “brilliant, funny, cultured, and wise,” but added that she struggled with “self-destruction.” And even though Frankel says Birk was not “equipped to be a mother, she loved me and I have beautiful memories of her.”

Frankel said she learned a lot from her mom, including her strength, but she “won’t sugarcoat it. I was an adult long before Bryn’s age, experiencing things no young child should endure.”

“This made me strong, tough, a survivor who is able to handle anything. The universe gave me the most beautiful daughter and my childhood gave me inspiration to break the chain.”

And despite their rocky relationship, Frankel said she and her mom “reconnected” over the years so that her daughter, Bryn, could know her grandmother. “She adored Bryn and they shared a love of art.”

“She had one friend, so my lifelong wish was granted that she wasn’t alone. She was selfish in life, yet selfless in death. She left what little she had to my daughter, wished to be cremated, and wanted no one to be notified besides me,” Frankel continued.

Frankel admitted she had a “sixth sense she had passed. I had started to release some trauma, was dancing to the song ‘I’m alive’ in her favorite designer Alaia dress as she was dying.”

“I mourn her loss, her life, her loneliness and my childhood. I mourn her inability to experience motherhood, the most beautiful gift of a lifetime,” Frankel writes. “Goodbye mom, Bonnie, Bernadette. You did the best you could and you are free and at peace.”

At the end, Frankel encouraged her followers to “please call, connect with, or hug someone you have a complicated relationship with today,” and admitted she was grateful to her daughter for “consistently pushing to meet her and myself for re-opening old wounds for their relationship.”

  • Rachel Leviss Claps Back at Claims on Vanderpump Rules Episode as She Addresses Ariana Friendship, Denying She Was in Love With Sandoval and Claims Against James Over Dog Graham, Plus Fans React

Rachel Leviss Claps Back at Claims on Vanderpump Rules Episode as She Addresses Ariana Friendship, Denying She Was in Love With Sandoval and Claims Against James Over Dog Graham, Plus Fans React

Rachel “Raquel” Leviss took to her Instagram page on Tuesday night to fire back at a series of claims that were made against her on the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules.

After Scheana Shay, 38, and Lala Kent, 33, reacted to her suggestion that she and Ariana Madix, 38, were never that close, and Ally Lewber, 29, suggested she lied about being in love with Tom Sandoval, 41, and targeted her dog-related claims about James Kennedy, 32, Raquel posted clips from her August 2023 interview with Bethenny Frankel, 53.

“Claim: She said they were acquaintances at best,” read the caption of one of Raquel’s posts on April 16.

As the clip saw Scheana, Lala, and Ariana discussing Ariana’s friendship with Raquel, Raquel edited the snippet by adding an excerpt from her podcast interview.

“Ariana and I were not best friends. We were acquaintances who became friends through the show,” she said months ago, alleging they never had one-on-one hangouts.

“I wasn’t hanging out with Ariana off-camera to begin with, [but] I did start hanging out with her in a group setting because Tom would always invite me out,” she explained. “It did seem like we were close friends from the outside looking in but in those situations, I was hanging out with Tom more than I was hanging out with her.”

Raquel also said she “really did believe” that Ariana and Sandoval were her friends before seemingly contradicting herself, adding, “We never had a deep conversation that I would have with a best friend.”

After posting the clip, many of Raquel’s fans and followers wondered if she’d been hacked and suggested her interview clips made her look worse, not better.

“Is the goal of this to make you look better ??? Cuz it don’t,” one person stated.

“Girlllll get yourself a PR team or fire the one you have,” advised another.

“Doesn’t this make you look bad?” asked a third.

With a second clip on her Instagram page, Raquel shared the caption, “Claim: she said she was never in love with Tom.”

And in response, she was seen telling Bethenny, “I believed I was in love with Tom at the time. I now look back on it and see I was not in love with him … I also don’t believe that he truly was in love with me either.”

    Again, fans were left confused.

“What’s this supposed to prove,” one wondered.

A third clip featured the claim about her blaming James for Graham (now known as Hippie) being a biter.

“He doesn’t have dog experience and he’s part of the reason why Graham is a biter,” Raquel had shared with Bethenny. “James would encourage Graham to bite his hands hard and he liked that sensation so of course that trained Graham to be a biter.”

Again, Raquel’s fans and followers were not getting her point.

“I’m so confused why you are posting all these ‘claims.’ You are proving that their claims were correct…. I’m so lost,” someone stated.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

  • Lisa Vanderpump Fires Back at Raquel's Claims About Dog Graham and Shares Why She Was Unhappy With Bethenny Interview, Suggests She Can't Be Trusted and Reveals She Was Making “Six-Figures”

Lisa Vanderpump is firing back at Rachel “Raquel” Leviss‘ suggestion that she attempted to use her former dog, Graham, to lure her back to Vanderpump Rules — and set her up for an on-camera surprise reveal of the dog being given back to her former fiance, James Kennedy, with whom she previously shared the pet.

While attending the Pump Rules season 11 premiere party on Wednesday, Lisa, 63, gave a nod to Raquel’s despicable betrayal of Ariana Madix, 38, whose now-ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, 41, she slept with for months, as she called out Raquel, 29, for failing to have her “facts” straight and reacted to her tell-all podcast interview with Bethenny Frankel, 53.

“Well, she also said that she’s Ariana [Madix]’s best friend. That’s how I respond to that,” Lisa told Us Weekly on January 17 after being asked about using Graham for a storyline. “I do think if she’s going to call something out, she should know the story. I take my dog foundation [The Vanderpump Dog Foundation] and rescuing dogs very seriously. That dog was brought to my attention, so I would not use that dog. It was delivered to Vanderpump Dogs, but you’re going to see the way it transpires [when season 11 airs].”

After Raquel entered a mental health facility in March 2023, she surrendered Graham to trainers at the California Doodle Rescue due to his aggressive behavior, which she has since blamed on James. A while later, the dog wound up at Vanderpump Dogs and was ultimately reunited with James, who has given him a new name: Hippie.

Although Graham seems to be doing well with James and girlfriend Ally Lewber, 29, who recently confirmed positive “progress,” Raquel said on her podcast earlier this month that a false story was put out about the animal.

“Basically, the story that they put out there is that Lisa told everyone that I surrendered my dog at a kill shelter and he was hours away from being euthanized,” she alleged on Rachel Goes Rogue.

In response, Lisa said, “She should get all the facts before she kind of makes these statements. And I don’t think anybody’s really trusting what she says. The lion doesn’t care what the sheep are doing.”

During a separate interview at the same event, Lisa admitted she wasn’t happy about Raquel’s August 2023 interview with Bethenny.

“I wish she’d actually come to me instead of sitting in the safety of somebody else’s podcast,” Lisa told Page Six. “Had she come to me, I think I would’ve been good to her. Because it’s one thing just saying this out here, just saying that out there. And some of it wasn’t true! Like I was paying her like an intern. I know exactly how much money she made. It was six figures. It was good!”

While Raquel told Bethenny she hadn’t “seen a penny” from “Scandoval,” Lisa previously said she made more than $350,000 for season 10.

She also said she wished Raquel had “come back and really spoken her truth.”

“She knows I’m not gonna be judgmental. I’m gonna listen and give her a moment,” Lisa noted. “All the people that are so involved in the story [simply] wanted to see growth [and] contrition.”

According to Lisa, she was interested in hearing how Raquel “felt” after she “went away for a few months.”

“I think it would’ve behooved her to come back. I really do,” she shared. “But maybe not the whole season because I think they were all pretty kind of reticent.”

Lisa then stated that a return may have been “too much for [Raquel],” adding that she “understand[s] that, too.”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 premieres on Tuesday, January 30, at 8/7c on Bravo.

  • How Bethenny Frankel’s RHONY Deal Changed TV Contracts Forever | Entrepreneur

How Bethenny Frankel’s RHONY Deal Changed TV Contracts Forever | Entrepreneur

    [ad_1]

Bethenny Frankel is an established entrepreneur and businesswoman who began her career in the public eye in the late aughts on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York.”

Frankel’s success has been in part due to her “never settle” attitude and not being afraid to speak up for herself when something feels off. That’s why she’s “credited” with changing the scope of reality television contracts forever, with a clause widely known throughout the industry as “The Bethenny Clause.”

Related: Bethenny Frankel on Her Approach to Business and Negotiating Deals: ‘I’m Good at Concepts, Not Contracts’

In an Instagram Reel, Frankel answered a fan’s question about how much money she was offered for her initial RHONY contract in 2008. Frankel said the number was $7,250 and that she “did not dispute” it.

“I was a nobody. That was a lot of money to me,” Frankel explained. “The only thing I did cross out was the thing that said Bravo would take a percentage of anything I made … Somewhere down deep inside of me, I understood conceptually that that was wrong, that I was going places and I was going to do something and no one was going to own any part of it.”

In 2011, Frankel sold the cocktail portion of her now-renowned Skinnygirl company to Beam Global for an estimated $100 million, which garnered the attention of the industry at large making TV execs squirm over “lost” money.

Now there’s something called the “The Bethenny Clause” in some reality television contracts, which requires casts member on certain shows to sign away a percentage of their earnings to “the powers that be,” as Frankel puts it.

“You are smarter than you think,” Frankel told viewers. “I was not a business person. I had no institutional knowledge or experience in any of this. I read a contract, something didn’t feel right to me, and I took it out. And it changed my entire life.”

Frankel told Entrepreneur in 2021 that before closing the initial deal with Beam Global in 2011, the company wanted to buy the Skinnygirl company as a whole, something she negotiated against and in doing so, was able to keep the name of the Skinnygirl brand and its intellectual property.

“I said, I’m not doing that — you guys only specialize in liquor, so keep the liquor,” Frankel explained to Entrepreneur at the time regarding the acquisition. “So [Beam] paid me and bought a brand, which is really unprecedented. That really doesn’t happen … I was just thinking logically about that. And I’ve had so many things in my career that have been like that.”

Frankel is worth an estimated $80 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

    By Zach Seemayer‍, ETOnline.com.

Bethenny Frankel is getting candid with her followers about her struggle with POTS syndrome, and how it has her afraid for her future with her daughter.

Frankel took to TikTok on Thursday where she shared a series of makeup-free videos, and explained how she’s been struggling with her health in recent years.

“This is a disorder that has really gotten much worse since COVID,” Frankel said in one video, referring to her condition, which she says is Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, an illness that some believe may be an autoimmune disorder.

In another post, in which Frankel is fighting back tears, the TV personality and business mogul explained, “My real [fear] is the terror of not being healthy for my daughter. That’s the biggest thing.”

“Who cares about the rest of it? I just want to be healthy for her. I want to go on Aspen vacations and take her snowboarding,” Frankel shared. “I want to live a long life, because I had a child later in life.”

  • The Unlikely TikTok Success Story of Derm-Beloved Sunscreen Brand EltaMD

The Unlikely TikTok Success Story of Derm-Beloved Sunscreen Brand EltaMD

    [ad_1]

EltaMD has always had the potential to be one of the greats: The brand has been around since 2007 (though it originally began as a wound-care company in 1988), and its products are sold at retailers like Dermstore and Bluemercury. Prices top out at around $60 for a face serum, though most hover around $30. The formulas are simple yet effective, and highly recommended by hordes of dermatologists. But with its straightforward packaging, EltaMD is not what the kids might call #aesthetic.

“As a professional skin-care brand with a deep medical heritage born out of wound healing, our brand persona isn’t to be flashy or be driven by trends,” says Echo Sandburg, chief brand officer of CP Skin Health and EltaMD. “EltaMD, for far too long, has been one of the best-kept skin-care secrets — and it should’t be.”
