Blake Lively’s Super Bowl Jewelry Cost HOW MUCH?! – Perez Hilton

    Best believe she’s Bejeweled!

As we’ve been reporting on all the fun surrounding the Super Bowl and Taylor Swift‘s A-list squad, Blake Lively‘s AH-Mazing outfit didn’t go unnoticed by fans! The 36-year-old showed up to the big game alongside her BFF Tay and rapper Ice Spice to cheer on Travis Kelce. She came dressed to the nines with a gorg curly hair look and a super fun Adidas tracksuit in Kansas City Chiefs red — all paired together with some chunky gold jewelry that sparkled under the VIP suite lights.

The golden dazzlers weren’t just costume gems, though! Apparently Ryan Reynolds‘ wife dropped some SERIOUS dough on her bangle bracelets, thick chain necklace, and dangly earrings!!

At Allegiant Stadium, per Page Six, the actress and momma of four had a number of Tiffany and Elsa Peretti pieces on her. They included a silver chainlink necklace valued at $18,500, a gold graduated link necklace valued at $62,000, and a diamond pavé necklace worth the most at a whopping $78,000. That’s nearly $159,000 ON HER NECK ALONE!

Moving to her wrists, the Gossip Girl alum wore 14 different bracelets — with the cheapest one being well over a thousand dollars! She had on two link bracelets of the same design in different styles for $12,500 and $26,000 respectively, as well as a series of an Elsa Peretti cuff that goes for $12,300 and a doughnut bangle for $29,000. She stacked up two diamond and white gold bangles for $56,000 in total.

And if you thought she was done, you thought wrong! Her accessories continued with two Tiffany bangles valued at $7,500 and $7,800 — and she tacked on two diamond versions of those bangles as well for $27,000 and $39,000! Taking a break from all the gold jewels, Blake decided to mix in some silver with a $42,000 lock bangle, a half pavé white gold bangle for $17,000, and another Elsa Peretti knot bangle covered in diamonds which retails for $54,000.

The least expensive wrist accessory of the night was valued at $1,825 — being a simple sterling silver bangle — leaving the total value of her wrists alone at $304,925. WILD!!

Blake’s two sets of earrings were a simple pair of Tiffany Solitaire diamonds which retail for $1,650 and some Elsa Peretti snake danglers valued at around $4,000 — but to Swifties, that subtle nod to the forthcoming rerecording of Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is priceless! Take all that together and The Shallows star wore $469,075 worth of jewelry on her person at the game. Nearly half a MILLION bucks worth of accessories all paired with a tracksuit! Iconic!

  • One party city to another: Vegas completes Super Bowl handoff to New Orleans

One party city to another: Vegas completes Super Bowl handoff to New Orleans

LAS VEGAS – The business of Super Bowl LVIII ended with the official handoff from Las Vegas, to New Orleans on Monday morning inside of the Mandalay Bay. Las Vegas proved to be an exceptional host city. Buoyed by decades of hosting major conferences and big sporting events, the city’s host committee begged NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to forgo the rotation of cities and put another Super Bowl back in Vegas quickly.

Las Vegas was a no-brainer to be a host once the home of the Raiders, Allegiant Stadium, would be open by 2020. Plus, the city has more than 150,000 hotel rooms. Lastly, Vegas’s ability to host high level events in nightclubs, convention halls and event spaces while allowing the NFL to take over the city’s core was a plus.

“Thank you to the NFL for believing in Las Vegas and thank you to the Las Vegas Super Bowl host committee for making this historic Super Bowl possible,” said Nevada Governor Jay Lombardo. “And I will take this opportunity to use the Governor’s discretion to ask the commissioner to forgo their rotational plans for the Super Bowl and maybe get it here sooner than later.”

  • Super Bowl security extends to sky above Las Vegas

Super Bowl security extends to sky above Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — When the Chiefs and 49ers hit the field on Sunday, teams from U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations (CBP AMO) will be patrolling the sky above Las Vegas.

CBS News Bay Area correspondent Max Darrow flew with CBP AMO’s Daniel Pinkerton, an air interdiction agent, and Sandra Pinkerton, an aviation enforcement agent, to get a better understanding of their role in Super Bowl security.

“We’re up here to increase situational awareness by downlinking video from a very unique perspective that only a platform like this has,” Daniel said. “What Sandra is doing over here — she has the fleer in TV mode and is looking at the stadium. We can transmit that to incident command center.”

They’re keeping an eye out for the unexpected or have eyes on certain areas they’ll get directed to. The team will be up in the air before, during and after the game.

“This world is so dynamic and the threat is so diverse, it’s hard to categorize what we’re looking for,” Daniel said.

Super Bowl security takes an extensive amount of interagency teamwork at the local, state and federal level, which is why CBP, a part of the Department of Homeland Security, is involved.

The FAA will issue a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) for much of Super Bowl Sunday, centered around Allegiant Stadium with a 10-nautical-mile inner core.

If someone flies into that zone, Sandra says, a team will respond.

“That’s going to trigger a response from our Blackhawk helicopters and the Department of Defense,” she said. “They’re going to try and intercept that aircraft and direct it to land at an airport.”

Providing security for special events like the Super Bowl is a part of CBP’s mission, which is something both of these agents take pride in carrying out.

“It’s part of the fabric of America — events like this — where we can all come together, celebrate together and support that we can do it safely,” Daniel said. “We take tremendous pride in being a part of the team that does their best to afford that opportunity.”

“It feels good to go to bed at night knowing that we did the best we can to keep American people safe,” Sandra said.

  • Super Bowl 2024 to be powered by Nevada desert solar farm, marking a historic green milestone

Super Bowl 2024 to be powered by Nevada desert solar farm, marking a historic green milestone

Super Bowl 2024 is setting the stage not just for a showdown between top NFL teams, but also for a major environmental milestone. This year, the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host a Super Bowl powered entirely by renewable energy — a first in the history of the event.

The seemingly desolate area of the Nevada desert is the source of the green energy used to power the game.

A vast solar farm with over 621,000 panels shimmers like a mirage but with the capability to power close to 60,000 residential customers — or one very big stadium.

The Las Vegas Raiders, which call Allegiant Stadium home, have entered into a 25-year agreement to buy power from this new solar installation owned by NV Energy.

CEO Doug Cannon said that the solar installation would supply more than 10 megawatts of power for the Super Bowl. This amount of energy is roughly equivalent to the consumption of 46,000 homes.

Sustainability was front of mind as the stadium was being constructed, according to Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan.

The stadium’s roof is made of a sustainable plastic material that allows in about 10% of daylight but blocks all solar heat, so it takes less energy to cool the building. The grass field is moved outdoors on a rail system to get natural sunlight rather than using energy-intensive growing lights. And everything from grass clippings to food scraps and cigarette butts are composted or converted into other forms of energy.

“When you come to a game you may be thinking about just focusing on the game but when they hear that and know that we’re being conscious of our environmental footprint, hopefully that guest will leave and have that same mindset when they go back home,” said Morgan.

The Super Bowl’s green energy push was highlighted during a visit from U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm, who inspected the stadium’s main electrical entry room.

“People sometimes get nervous about renewable power because they’re not sure if it’s going to be reliable. The fact that renewable power can power a facility like this reliably should speak volumes about what could happen in other communities,” Granholm said.

The solar farm not only powers the current needs but also houses massive batteries to store renewable energy, ensuring a five-hour power supply even when the sun isn’t shining. This technology is seen as a key component in transitioning the U.S. power grid toward 100% clean electricity by 2035, a goal set by President Biden.

Despite the focus on environmental sustainability, the Super Bowl’s entertainment, including a halftime show featuring performer Usher, will not be compromised.

“We have enough power for Usher and all of his lights and all the fanfare that’ll be there,” said Cannon.

Watch the Super Bowl on your local CBS station, on Nickelodeon and streaming on Paramount+ on Sunday, Feb. 11.

Patrick Mahomes ‘Happy’ To Be ‘A Little Bit A Part’ Of Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift’s Relationship! – Perez Hilton

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have the seal of approval from Patrick Mahomes.

On Monday night, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback absolutely GUSHED over his teammate and friend’s relationship with the Anti-Hero singer. During a press conference for the Super Bowl LVIII Opening Night event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, he told reporters:

“[Travis is] enjoying it. He’s enjoying just being able to be in a great relationship, and then also being able to play great football as well.”

See, he can do both! You’ve got nothing to worry about, Melissa Etheridge!

But it sounds like the 28-year-old REALLY enjoys being able to be “a part” of the fun with his friends:

“It’s been cool to watch and be able to be a little bit a part of, but it’s been a heck of a season, a heck of a run, and I’m glad that he’s as happy as he is.”

So kind! Watch his full interview (below):

While Patrick and Travis are best buds on the field, their girls have been developing quite the bond in the stands as well! Taylor has been spotted at a slew of games with Brittany, and even on a few girls nights. And the couples are definitely no strangers to some double dates, either!

Just last month, Patrick opened up to NBC Sports‘ Pro Football Talk about Trav, and how dating a pop star actually hasn’t changed him much. He dished at the time:

“He’s been himself the whole time. He’s still Travis Kelce. He’ll still walk through the stadium and treat everyone like they’re his best friend and he’s always going to be like that. It hasn’t been any different to me.”

    We love hearing his perspective!

  • Reba McEntire Scores Honor Of Performing National Anthem At Super Bowl – ‘Oh My Gosh!’

Reba McEntire Scores Honor Of Performing National Anthem At Super Bowl – ‘Oh My Gosh!’

    Opinion

    Source: CBS Mornings YouTube

It was revealed on Thursday morning that the country music star Reba McEntire will be performing the national anthem at the Super Bowl next month.

McEntire To Perform At Super Bowl

It’s been announced that during the Super Bowl, McEntire will perform “The Star Spangled Banner,” the rapper Post Malone will perform “America the Beautiful” and the singer Andra Day will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which is known as the black national anthem. McEntire told CBS News that she was told of this incredible opportunity by her manager.

“He said that they wanted me to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl, and I said ‘Oh my gosh. Well, let me think about that,’” said McEntire, 68. “And Rex Linn, my boyfriend, who is a huge football fan, he said, ‘Yes, she’ll do it. Absolutely.’ So that’s where we’re at.”

While this will be the first time that McEntire performs at the Super Bowl, she’s been singing the national anthem for decades, doing so publicly for the first time back in 1974 at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City.

“I’m honored to be a part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time,” she said in a separate statement, according to Taste Of Country. “2024 marks 50 years since I was discovered singing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary.”

That’s why she feels confident that she’ll be ready to take the stage for the Super Bowl LVIII at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11.

“You just warm up like you do a concert and sing it about five or six times, and get in there, and do it,” McEntire concluded.

McEntire ‘At A Really Good Place’ In Her Life’

This comes one month after McEntire spoke out to gush over where she is currently at in her life.

“I’m at a really good place in my life,” McEntire told People Magazine. “I’m happy, I’m in love. My kids are all healthy. My family’s healthy. So I’m happy.”

McEntire went on to reveal her New Year’s resolutions, explaining that she has both professional and personal ones as we head into 2024.

“Professional would be to continue doing what I love to do. Say no to the things that won’t be fun. Say yes to the things that will be,” she said. “Personal is to have fun — just continue being happy and healthy. That’s what I pray for daily.”

    McEntire’s Love Life

Linn, who McEntire has been dating for four years, has played a major role in her happiness as of late.

“It’s good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what’s going on,” McEntire previously said of him, according to Yahoo News. “Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress.”

“And he’s very into my music. I’m very into his career,” she added. “It’s just great getting to talk to somebody who I find very interesting, very funny, very smart and is interested in me, too.”

In a world where so many celebrities are divisive politically, McEntire is one of the few stars who really does appeal to everyone. We can’t wait to see how she performs our country’s great national anthem at the Super Bowl next month!
